Hi
How can I re-invoke touchflo? it stopped working a while ago, everything else on my elf gsm is working very well, just no touchflo. I wasn't that bothered about it being missing for a while but it's starting to bother me now.
What files should I have to make touchflo work, so I can check they are all there?
Is there any other info I should give to help get the right answer? I've made a search for existing threads but can't see anything.

have you edited the registry recently? maybe you disabled touchfl on hklm\software\oem\tflosettings?
or you can try a hard reset.

Many thanks, I'd somehow set cube at 0, editing the registry key to 1 fixed it!!!

The BT icon of my magician has disapeared after I installed SPB Plus & Weather.
I've removed them, sof reseted, but the problem goes on.

After you do that, perform a soft reset with bluetooth still on. The icon may come back.
As a last resort, I'd perform a hard reset to get everything back to "as new" condition.
This may not be necessary though.
I have the same problem and I played around with the registry and solved it. No time to go to the detail now. But to point is, try to make the bticon to load much later than it suppose to be which means you need to add something to the registry to delay its startup.
I followed your sugestion. I've changed the value of InitDelay, soft-reseted but the problem is still on!

Please do a search in this forum before asking. This is a common problem that have been talk about many many times. It due to many startup program and today plugins. A program called "No Plugins Today" solve my problem.
Hello, Is there a mode to hide the Sim contacts from contacts list?
I try with HDTweaks and skTools but after reset or turn off the device the sim contacts turn on again.

For me HDTweak works just fine, and the SIM contacts stay hidden. You will have to wait for a longer time before soft-resetting the device, probably.
Yes but I must change the battery often....isn't there any other definitive solution?
I think it doesn't matter if you have changed the registry it should get stored. But, to be honest, I haven't pulled out my battery yet.

Try out MY (FU johnpatcher) KaiserSimFix listed in my signature. It works after soft-reset.
You don't need a mod, just open your contact list and look for an option called VIEW. Choose which lists you want to view and close.

I tryed this and it didn't work, instead i used another cab which did work called rhilhashidesim , i think anyway. i got so many cabs on here i cant really tell.

There's no technology difference between KaiserSimFix and the rhilh... since the same registry entry is edited.
Would be nice if somebody could definitely state if KaiserSimFix didn't work by checking the registry entry after soft-reset.
USING NORMAL ROM ,
sim contacts will get reset to VIEW after soft boot

Well i know i wasn't the onlyone who found it didn't work in the thread. Several others said it haddn't.
Whenever I get a next text message, I noticed that the messages have a time stamp way way off from the current time. How can that be if the time of the phone is right?
Have you tried this fix?
1) Goto HKLM/SOFTWARE/OEM/PhoneSetting
2) Add DWORD Value 'TrustTimeZoneField'
3) Set value = 0
4) Soft Reset
I had a similar issue where all the Delivery Reports from OrangeUK (sent from "System Administrator") came up before all the other messages regardless of when they were received.
Maybe something for me to try.

How do I get to the registry?
I apologize for asking these type of 'questions' but how do I get to the registry?
I can only see files. Do you access the registry from the connected PC or on the phone itself. So this is the right way to fix the timestamp?

Did you change correct registry key? Did you soft reset afterwards?
EDIT
This fix may not work on different rom version, i.e. wm6.1 & wm6.5 as well as different manila versions. Try asking question in relevant rom thread and you may get a quicker response to your query
Everytime i restart my phone, it starts the calibrating of the thouchscreen. Anyone else got this problem? Maybe there is a cab to fix it (i remember there was a similar issue on custom Prophet-ROMs).
thats a bug sometimes happens while making a hardreset.
just do another hardreset or search for the corrosponing key in the registry. dont know how its named though
I just installed all aplications on my new phone (no hardreset), so i would be glad if somebody can tell me the specifig regestry key.
I had have this bug a few resets before - i disabled the autostart of the calibration-tool with sktools. Any other autostart-manager should work too.
Can somebody suggest a free autostart-manager? Did a few searchs and found nothing.
Nobody got an alternative to sktools?

I got one from this forum, it's called 'startup manager'. Upload from my X1 doesn't work, try a new forum search. I know that's
out there ...
why dont u consider buying sktools? i think it is good
I have removed it properly - the issue is phone is still running the app and it's active regardless of removal of app and soft reset I did afterward.
Can someone recommend some cleaner or some registry key I can tweak around to get rid of this app?

Yes please can somebody answer this question? I didnt like it and I wanted to delete it since it wasnt funtioning correctly. It actually zooms everything on my phone like phone calls in progress screens. Zooomer is completely and properly removed but functionality is still active. I dont want to.hard reset. Its driving me crazy. Help anyone?

Not sure what registry values have been changed - but hard reset may be the only way out...

Yes, I hard reset. Now it's fine. I'm just went with adding zoom with BSB tweaks. That worked better for me.
If I'm not mistaken, zoomer edits reg values only - HD2 already has the capability to zoom any app - it depends on the registry setting to turn it on or off.
