To get the % icon on the battery - Search the forums.
This has been posted about 950 times. It clutters the forums.
And the answer is about 15 threads down from your new one on the same 1st page...

Battery Charge Icon Upgrade

I have seen upgraded battery icon showing percentages n the HD. The old ones I had for the touch pro just make mine disappear. Can someone tell me what they are using an dpoint me in the direction of its download. thanks guys
Second that Well I managed to get the percentage showing in the taskbar (thanks to the tools secondtoday 0.4.0 in conjunction with homescreen ++ 1.06). But I would like to have a colored battey icon instead of the original white and "boring" one ("which is a little unprecise with only the ability to show 5 different states)
Does anyone know how to integrate such icons in the taskbar (Perhaps with 10-20 different states)?

that is exactly what i used and it broke my HD's battery icon. The icon just dissappeared. had to uninstall the cab.
This new "feature" is so stupid!!!
Try this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=424926
Works on Touch Pro, but I don't know if it works on the HD
Regarding a colored battery icon, just have a look at point 4 of this thread:

note that you have to install sdkcerts.cab, as described in the text. After doing that, it worked beautifully!

Just an FYI, you'll lose the clock in the title bar (if you have it check boxed to display)once you've installed this battery meter. But I also notice that when you power on the device the title bar clock will display the time momentarily then the battery meter will drop in its place.
Dude this is cool, especially with the coloured icon and the % of remaining power.
Well done!
vista hide battery guage all the way.
doesnt steal taskbar room (or clock feature), displays color (can be matching to theme if desired) and is very specific/accurate

Homescreen Plusplus battery indicator only going down in 10% increments...

Hi all, I have the xperia x1 and have installed the Homescreen Plusplus (Batterystatus) I love this little app but have noticed that the battery indicator now drops in 10% increments instead of the 1% it did on my HTC TyTN II... is this normal or can I fix it somehow...? Cheers for any info...
Thats because the system battery driver only reports in 10% steps
hopefully a FW update in the future will fix it
Thanks for the info Searly... I wondered if that would be the case...
Anyone know where I can get Homescreen Plusplus (Batterystatus)?

[Q] How to get current battery level?

Hi,
Do you guys know if battery icon next to the clock can show current battery level in %? I was wondering if that is possible, it was it in windows mobile.
Regards,
ncc74656
I use Battery Indicator Pro for that. Adds another icon in notification area showing %. Remember that MS will not report anything other than 10% increments.
motocharge app can show you the exact percentage

it doesn't give the percent in the battery icon but in the status bar...
To get battery percentage in the battery icon, you have to edit the framework. I don't know how that works, but I do know it's related to the framework.
Specific themes have the percentage in the battery icon.

yes I know that, I've tried to do it with uot kitchen but after restart, I've got closing apps errors. Even with argent2stone rom
I think it's because ms2 give ranges by 10% and uot gives all percents.
sorry for my english
Motocharge is quite nice. Is it possible to disable original battery indicator?

[Q] Any battery icon mods that work?

I can't seem to get any battery icon mods to work through Xposed. The color changer in Wanam doesn't work, and neither does the module here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=45341098&postcount=252
Does anyone have an icon mod that works? That green color is a terrible eyesore...

I ended up using Wanam to disable the battery icon and just themed the numerical percentage instead.
If you change the battery to "enable circle battery" under the notifications panel settings, you can change the color to whatever you like. I like it better than the other battery anyways because it takes up less space and has the percentage inside of it. That's the only one I know of that works though

I'm having trouble changing the colors on the circle battery. I see the options, but nothing seems to be working. What exactly did you do?

Make sure to turn it on in the color panel when choosing the color and hit save.

I'm also looking for something else that works. The xbattery themer does nothing. I'm currently using Wanam circle battery, but I want a non-colored theme (colors change from yellow to red as the battery depletes). I changed the circle battery color to green, and I can live that for now since this thing is a beast and is rarely in the red anyway...BUT, I'm trying to change the percentage text color and it isn't working. There's an option for that but it doesn't do anything, so the circle battery is green and so is the percentage inside it, and that looks like crap IMO. If I could just get the percentage to turn white I'd be somewhat satisfied for now.
Xbattery themer now works!
i would love to rock a htc sense plain old green battery wonder what could do that

The xbattery themer thread has quite a few options that are "stock-like". Just search for the module in xposed and the support thread url is at the bottom.

Any help is appreciated.

This is probably a dumb question but is there a round battery % in the stock rom? I'm just looking for the same round icon that changed color with battery percentage as my note 2 had. Thanks for the dumb questions but I cannot seem to find it in the notification area where some say it should be.
Dave
@op you ever found a way to have the stock battery but with diff colors?

Font size of Battery charge percentage!

I may not be the youngest person using this phone, but I usually can see and read very well.
But I found I canNOT really read the percentage of battery charge in the top right corner, without a magnifying glass.
Changing Text/Font size in the display settings, does not include enlarging that important information.
Does anybody have a solution for that?
Thank you.....
No, you can change battery percentage to next to the icon
Sounds worth a try... how do I do that?
Someone told me... it worked... Thank You
