Battery Charge Icon Upgrade - Touch HD General

I have seen upgraded battery icon showing percentages n the HD. The old ones I had for the touch pro just make mine disappear. Can someone tell me what they are using an dpoint me in the direction of its download. thanks guys

Second that Well I managed to get the percentage showing in the taskbar (thanks to the tools secondtoday 0.4.0 in conjunction with homescreen ++ 1.06). But I would like to have a colored battey icon instead of the original white and "boring" one ("which is a little unprecise with only the ability to show 5 different states)
Does anyone know how to integrate such icons in the taskbar (Perhaps with 10-20 different states)?

Have you tried, just asking, the cab for Diamond ? I am planning to do so !!!! I'll keep you informed.

that is exactly what i used and it broke my HD's battery icon. The icon just dissappeared. had to uninstall the cab.

This new "feature" is so stupid!!!
Try this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=424926
Works on Touch Pro, but I don't know if it works on the HD

Regarding a colored battery icon, just have a look at point 4 of this thread:

note that you have to install sdkcerts.cab, as described in the text. After doing that, it worked beautifully!

thanks guys, it worked. I appreciate your guidence

Just an FYI, you'll lose the clock in the title bar (if you have it check boxed to display)once you've installed this battery meter. But I also notice that when you power on the device the title bar clock will display the time momentarily then the battery meter will drop in its place.

Dude this is cool, especially with the coloured icon and the % of remaining power.
Well done!

vista hide battery guage all the way.
doesnt steal taskbar room (or clock feature), displays color (can be matching to theme if desired) and is very specific/accurate

Battery Status Bar.....gone?

Another question...
I did a hard reset Fri to clean up the device and just install the stuff that I was happy with. But now I'm missing the battery status bar that runs along the very top of the screen...
Was it a built-in, out of the box function or is it native to a 3rd party launcher app? I *did* have WisBar installed for a quick minute, but I uninstalled it and still had the statusbar...
Using the same themes I was using before...can't find any options that I havent checked. It's not VITAL, but it was a nice touch and I miss it.
It was probably a reminant of wisbar. I have wisbar lite and it has the battery status "line" at the top.
http://www.lakeridgesoftware.com/products.php?prod=WisBar+Lite
Wisbar lite has an inbuilt thin line battery meter. But batti which is free does the same job - see here http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=48007&sid=3de75058a939a46fcd5ab8720882a2f6
THANK YOU!!!
it was driving me nuts not knowing why it disappeared...lol.
I do like it...It should be part of the orignal set up...the battery icon at teh bottom is too small...
Thanks again!
Whoohoo! Just installed it - very nice! (I'm a bit more excited about this than I should be..lol)
Battery Meter Indicator Line...
Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't there a battery meter indicator line at the very top of every application? I see it on my C8125. It goes across the very top from left to right. It also pulses from current power to max when the phone is charging.
I could be wrong that this is WM5 native and not one of my programs: SPB Weather, Diary....
Thx for the info anyway!

It's not native to WM5. ou probably also have SPB Pocket Plus? That comes with a battery indicator also.

Actually just checked and I only have SPB Weather installed. That's probably the culprit though. Definitely better than an extra icon on the menu bar.

Display Time and Battery?

Sorry if has already been posted - I did search and found nothing. I'm going mad trying to get both the Time and battery to display on the task bar. I can only ever seem to get one or the other and really need both. I've seen theme pictures which have them, but only the iphone style. I've tried HD tweak and even with both set I only seem to get one. I'm not worried about the date, but that would be nice aswell.
If anyone can help it would be great.
I also second this. I've done a search and read various threads about having both, but they don't offer a method of showing both the normal/standard icons on the top.
Wisbar sounds like overkill. wkTask, ditto, don't need another app just for this.
Lordsmiff's color bar prob. works (didn't try), but want an actual icon, not a colored bar along the top.
There are some really awesome icons (the battery with %) for these 2 now, so I'd like both.
My iPhone displayed time and battery pretty much in most situations... not sure why it's so hard on WM phones.
Thanks
Try with SKTools man
Thanks for the info on SKTools, but I beleive this only does date and time, as that is whats listed in its tweaks section. Can you confirm it will display the battery and time?
Thanks
I couldn't find anything else either, but I'm happy with the colorbar; to be honest, I think it works better than an icon solution, as just a glance up top tells me what I need to know, where I would have to squint at an icon.
So, give it a shot...you can always uninstall it
I use Quickmenu which also displays the battery on the left while the time (and date using hdtweak) is displayed on the right. Use the wiki for the dl-link.
Nope, but u can combine it with "dciBattery", it's very light and elegance. I like it.
SKtools and "dciBattery" are perfect solution for your pane, i think.
Sorry for my english

Side Bar

Hi,
I've been using my new HD2 for almost a week and I'm very happy with it. I've a little problem, however, that the special function of the side bar has disappeared. That is, when you press the side roll bar, it will become bigger and make you easier to control and roll the bar up/down. But this morning when i press the side bar, it doesn't enlarge itself, though i'm still able to roll it up and down. I really love to have it enlarged when pressed. Can you tell me how to make this function work again? Thanks.
noticed mine has disapeared too, i had to hard reset my phone for a different reason and it still hasnt come back. i`d really like it back too.

I haven't the slightest clue what your talking about. what is a side bar?

I think they're talking about scroll bars that get bigger when you put your thumb/finger on them.
Guys - what applications are they not working in? Do they work, for example, in file explorer?

its not present in any applications, its like it was an app itself and somehow been deleted. like i said i`v hard reset a couple of times for various reasons but been missing that scroll bar icon for a while now. to me its not the end of the world but it can be a bit fiddly at times.
You know what? This is totally strange!
Reading this post I said to myself: let's check. Stupor, the magnifying part of the scroll bar is gone, vanished!
I wonder if the guys from HTC are aware of that…
Well mine still works. Have you guys been adding any theme mods?
Maybe you folks changed the theme?
The biggie smalls scrollbars only work on the default HTC Black theme, if you select one of the WM6.5 designer themes or download your own the magic scrollbars will be turned off.

You're right! I changed back from Rock and Republic black theme to HTC Black and is working.
maybe it can be done a port of it on the other themes.

Maybe, that would be nice.
The thing that's stopped me from getting new themes for the HD2 is exactly the loss of those scrollbars.

[Q] Any battery icon mods that work?

I can't seem to get any battery icon mods to work through Xposed. The color changer in Wanam doesn't work, and neither does the module here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=45341098&postcount=252
Does anyone have an icon mod that works? That green color is a terrible eyesore...

I ended up using Wanam to disable the battery icon and just themed the numerical percentage instead.
If you change the battery to "enable circle battery" under the notifications panel settings, you can change the color to whatever you like. I like it better than the other battery anyways because it takes up less space and has the percentage inside of it. That's the only one I know of that works though

I'm also looking for something else that works. The xbattery themer does nothing. I'm currently using Wanam circle battery, but I want a non-colored theme (colors change from yellow to red as the battery depletes). I changed the circle battery color to green, and I can live that for now since this thing is a beast and is rarely in the red anyway...BUT, I'm trying to change the percentage text color and it isn't working. There's an option for that but it doesn't do anything, so the circle battery is green and so is the percentage inside it, and that looks like crap IMO. If I could just get the percentage to turn white I'd be somewhat satisfied for now.
Xbattery themer now works!
i would love to rock a htc sense plain old green battery wonder what could do that

The xbattery themer thread has quite a few options that are "stock-like". Just search for the module in xposed and the support thread url is at the bottom.

HI can anyone of you tell me how to get the circle battery?
I have checked the box to enable circle battery and it asks for a reboot, once i reboot nothing happens?
Any help is appreciated.

This is probably a dumb question but is there a round battery % in the stock rom? I'm just looking for the same round icon that changed color with battery percentage as my note 2 had. Thanks for the dumb questions but I cannot seem to find it in the notification area where some say it should be.
Dave
@op you ever found a way to have the stock battery but with diff colors?

Android 10 black bar issue

I updated to the new Android 10 and it's really good so far with the new animations and quirks here and there . But for some annoying reason Samsung decided to add this white/black bar underneath the keyboard and it's really uncomfortable and takes so much screen estate . Tried uninstalling and reinstalling Gboard but it's still there and there's no option to disable it . Any ideas on how to get rid of it ?
I think you can find it somewhere inside the Display > Navigation Bar > and the one that has something to do with they keyboard option (I'm sorry I don't have my phone with me right now)
Thats strange. I dont have that black bar under keyboard

Do you have the option for having hide button on keyboard or something like that? It's a toggle under the options for gestures.
