Did you attempt a search for the answer to this question?? It's come up time and time again.
As you make a call, press and hold the dial button (the green phone button) for a few seconds. A little loudspeaker icon will appear in the start bar and you will then hear the call properly.
Thanks
Anthony
tnx for the quick reply,
yeah, somebody told me that way, but unfortunately i cant.. the call will end or loudspeaker still doesnt appear. keep on repeating the process but i cant.. is there a simple proggie to enable loudspeaker?
Holding the dial button doesn't seem to work for Magneto, nor does holding down the power button to shut off the backlight.

The problem is that the ipaqs 900 series they have problem losing the audio if you use BT headset and end the call. you have to press twice the red button to go to the home screen fast, or you will loose the audio... thats strange but they will fix it in the next firmware.
Now i want something tweak or registry settings that after the end of the call to go straight away to the home screen otherwise i have to end the call from my BT and then IF i have the phone close to push the red button to go to the home screen. before losing the audio
hi
almost every call i make, it hapend to be on hold in the middle of the call, i found out, that this hapens, when i speak thru my bt headset, and the device stays, in side the case, so even the screen is dark, the send key is pressed suddenly.
i need a solution how to lock this key during a call.
thanks.
up up up up
When using Xperia X1 on duty we get alarm calls that have to sign / stop by pressing the # button.
As the technician are allow to sleep it is a problem that we first have to unlock the phone, then activate the phone on screen keyboard and first then we are able to press #.
Is it possible to make a tweek that unlocks the phone and opens the screen keyboard when recieving a call, and if it can be done be recieving a call from one specific number it would be even better. ?
Kind regards.
Jens Peter
Can´t you just use the hardware keybord "#" button?
As far as I remember, the "num" buttons are all active, without holding the blue button, when in a call.

My play/pause button which I believe should hang up a call I am in when I press it instead puts the call on hold! Any ideas as to how to make it hang up instead?
Many thanks
You need to long press it to hang up the call. Short press puts the call on hold, as you rightly noticed.

Play/pause button???
You've got a call button (aka send or call send), and you've got a call end button.
If you're in a call and you press the call button, you quite rightly put the current call on hold so you can make another. When you press the call end button, it ends the current call. (If you put someone on hold and make another call, call end will return you to the original call. Call end, again, will end that call.)
The call button is not a toggle. It's an "on" button. The call end is an "off" button.
