Yes it is..
It simply doesnt work.
Its too thick. Because the screen is so large/flush, the sides dont stick down properly, further more it took me 15 mins to figure out that the top of the protector doesnt have a protective layer of plastic that peels off.. only the bottom.
Basicly I have made a dogs dinner of it and I only recieved my HD today! Tomorrow afternoon I have to go to tottenham court road, pay £10 to have a Brando one applied properly...
I had no issues putting mine on..... and it doesn't seem to effect the use of the screen.
Granted, it's not as good as the Brando's you mention but I'll stay with it for the time being.

Correct......
Ahh the one by Brando from Inkindo or something?
I was looking at that earlier. Brando UltraClear is very good from past experience. Do update us as to how good the one for the Touch HD is would you?

dont you find that odd? all the other HTC supplied protectors, eg with the original Touch and the Touch Diamond had a peelable bit of plastic on the front. This one seems really low quality and it pisses me off that I have to enjoy my first day with the HD with dust and air bubbles/blotches under the protector... and shell out £10 to have a proper one put on

yes, Inkino will supply and apply a Brando ultraclear for me for £10. At least I know someone will put it on properly, air bubble and dust free.
The one supplied with the HD is simply terrible. Its too thick, so the sides easily lift up. there is no protective plastic layer on the top of the protector, so be VERY CAREFUL when flattening it with a credit card.
It's a bit of a pain to apply...
The cut out is actually the perfect size to fit, maybe a little to perfect. Many screen protector I've used in the past are about a mm smaller so it's easy to remove and apply. Let me explain... The HD has tiny ridges which is ever so slightly raised on the whole perimeter. So unless you fit it perfectly you'll find nice elongated air bubble on the edge. After a few attempts it's good now but managed to catch a tiny dust particle underneath which again causes air bubbles. lol
In the past I have found Expert Shield to be extremely good. Even tiny dust particles or air bubbles just disappear... Uses some suction technology. lol
Hey, can you please tell me which Tottenham Ct Rd shop I should go to buy and let them apply for a tenner?

Agree.... As I said, mine went on without any problems, fit's perfectly and is free from dust/bubbles/etc.
Okay it's a bit thick but it's doing it's job.

Looks like it's Inkino looking above. I'm in same boat can't relax looking at the dust and air bubbles on the screen. I've washed it twice in desperation but still no go.
Have Inkino got them in do you know darthbane2k and how far along Tottenham Ct Rd are they?

I dont know if they actually have them in .. probably do, I will call tomorrow morning. I only recieved my HD this evening. Not even finished charging the battery yet. They installed my Diamond's protector for me perfectly.
I've tried everything with the supplied protector and am sick of it.

LOL, and I thought that I was a mess putting screen protectors...
I must say that I have a little, but not enough, experience putting screen protectors. I normally miss the first attempt and that is what happened. This time I missed a little bit to one of the sides. I kept cool, lift a bit the protector and tried one more time.
99% perfect the 2nd time!! It fitted 100% across the screen, inside the whole edge, and I only have two little air spots, none inside the 3.8" screen area.
I wonder how some people say that this protector is very bad or it doesn't fit the screen correctly. This is not a brando one, but sure it's a good one. I can compare to the one from brando that I got to my S200
i also attest that the protector is PERFECT Fit. i have not problems with it so far. it took me 3 times to get it right. i would suggest the following in general:
instead of using fingers to hold the screen protector, use the peeled off portion to "hold" one of the corners -> ie. stick a TINY corner of the protector onto the peeled off plastic, this way you have a "handle" to lift the protector off should you mis-align it. also it doesn't get finger prints onto the stickie side, and it also keep the stickiness after a few tries.

I agree with you. I'm pretty good at putting protectors on, but this was a real pain. I think I refitted it 6 times and even then had to use tape to remove lint and such 3 or 4 times. It does fit too well. Ended up buying a Brando, but didn't get the Ultra-clear Picked the anti-glare one and fitted it in one go. But am not happy with the dull screen, so have ordered an ultra-clear.

you dont have a screen protector on your phone?? it shouldve came with your phone unless you got it else where. better get these
well i screwed up the one that came wit it by trying to get it perfectly on the screen, so after ripping it out over and over again i kept gettin dust on it, so i threw it away and for now i put that original one back that has the pictures on it and shows you how to tilt ur phone? u know the one that comes on it when its brand new wit "warnings" and stuff...
either way...i am about to purchase either the "Expert Shield" or the pocket solution ones and i am tryin to get some feedback on the pocket solution ones first before purchasing. as for now, i have my phone on "baby mode" and am leaving it at home
geez...no one?
Expert Shield all the way. Don't even second guess it.
Expert Shield rocks. I have used them for my Tilt and a couple of cameras. You just have be careful putting them on. It is really easy to get dust under it if your not careful. Look on eBay and you can find them for really cheap shipped from either Hong Kong or Canada. Usually around $10 - $12 shipped. They are more expensive here.

+5 to that. i'm using them now on my tilt.
they're thick, yet flexible, have yet to show any wear from the stylus, & they haven't appeared to affect the touch sensitivity either.
It's been said by someone here that the Expert Shield protectors are just as good as the Martin Fields. He ruined one of his Martin Fields and I told him to try out ES and he said it was great.
They're a lot cheaper also.

I'm using a Hiro PSP Screen protector (cut into size) covers 99.9% of the screen almost same thickness as with martin fields, but at a fraction of the price
It also doesn't affect screen sensitivity.

I bought an Expert Shield and am VERY happpy with it. You're dead on about the dust thing and I'll add fingerprints to that list.
I did discover is that you can remove it and wash the sticky side off with warm water and a clean finger. Then pat dry lightly with lint free cloth for eye glasses. It will it go right back on just like new!!!! I did this three times in a row for fingerprints and dust that was bugging me.
Great product!!!

I'm using them, and they are ok for the money. There are better ones out there like the others are stating. But for 5 bucks, not a bad buy at all.
Also try Boxwave's ClearTouch, It's a bit pricey but man... after 2 month with this thing stick on my screen, it didn't even get a single scratch on it, hard as a rock! Also perfect fit. It's also washable and after wash it with soap and put it back on to your screen it looks like brand new... Well worth the money.
Link here.
Someone here linked them before I bought them and they are garbage. They are a pain in the ass to put on the first one I put on didnt cover enough of the screen and anything off of your fingers stays on there and its very hard to clean you have to use water. Mircofiber cloth wasnt good enough. Within two weeks it bubbled up and I had to trash the 1st one. The 2nd one that came in the pack was too big and it was also did not fit well. Oh yea
I dont recommend them.

That's the stuff I used in my bathroom to frost my windows... I got it wet and slid it on.. used a squeegee and flattened it all out and 3 years later is is still sticking there.
The difference is that this is
1.) Clear
2.) Cut into the proper shape (you could do this yourself with some measuring but it saves hassle)
3.) the squeegee is probably smaller.
My bathroom windows are in a VERY humid environment... I have never had ANY peeling.
However I don't keep my bathroom windows in my pocket... so I don't know if the corners will peel up.
My main point is that for $24 of this "film" to cover a TINY phone... you can buy the same thing for $18 that would cover 10 phones... if the product works fantastic... the profit margin for them is HUGE. If it doesn't work... it's the biggest rip off ever.
See if Gila makes a clear one... get $18 worth and tinker away.

Since you've had the Fuze already... Is the shape exactly the same as the TP? It looks like sprints version is a little more round along the corners. I'd Like to go ahead and purchase one of these for the Fuze but don't want to have to send it back.

The only difference I noticed when seeing the 2 up next to each other was the shape of the speaker hole on the back, that might be enough to throw the protection off. Ask Raspster about it more, he had both the European and the Fuze at the same time, so he could tell you better than I could.
I got one, just to try it out.
Exactly as described above. Its a bit fiddly getting on but once on, it sticks very well.
Its great at sticking to flat surfaces, not so good on curves. And they don't even try and cover the corners on the device, which I would think are the places I'd want protected if I was to drop it.
The texture makes the back look very different from normal; its much nicer without the cover on. On the front, you can't really see the cover at all; edges are perfectly aligned with the phones edges.
The back and the front of the phone are covered very well. Sides not so great. Corners not at all. Front looks good. Back looks crap.
My opinion, its no way worth $24
just got mine on Friday exactly as it's described, protects almost every part of the phone with their cut out plastic shield, however as mentioned in earlier post... doesn't really cover the edges, all in all... does really stick and so far looks pretty ok with the exception of little bubbles within the shield (poor application technique)

I have used the Zagg's products (formerly Invisible Shield) on my 6800, 6700, wifes Centro and even custom ordered for my Pioneer 6800DVD in my car. I really like the product, the service is second to none... That said, I think since I have used the product and know how it performs in pockets, and how to install correctly (installed dozens of shields for myself, family and friends), I may try this new product.
Screen protection has always been great and flat surfaces (side) great as well but the corners usually give way, slide and start to bubble after about 4 months of heavy in and out of the pocket use.
This is a $24 experiment begging to happen.... now if Sprint would just release the damn phone!
I would also like to know this. Can it be removed again without leaving marks on the phone?
How scratch proof is it really?
Because of the lack of info on the site (still no video's on how to apply the thing, their forum is just about empty and they don't reply to customer questions...) they really don't seem to thrustworthy ...

I would get the one released by Zagg. They offer a lifetime replacement on all products and they will replace it no questions I know. Their stuff is nearly impossible to scratch and I TRIED just about everything to scratch it. All phones full covers are $25. Never had any bubbling issues with Zagg's products.
yes it can easily be removed without any mark left at all....I found the cover started to collect dusk a lot (it must be slightly sticky) so I removed it.

Trust me, I know oh too well the replacement process and have replaced and installed many over the last 5 years.
The fact that I know the Zagg product so well, makes the experiment more interesting. I know the Zagg stuff so well that I will know if this Clear Coat stands a chance AND since it's only $25... It might turn out to be junk, the company could not stand behind the guarantee BUT we'll see.
*Update
Just got my phone yesterday and I just ordered the Clear Coat. I'll install and do a little initial write up. I'll order the Zagg shield when it becomes available and do a comparison.
It's only money and it IS a $700 device.... (but I only paid $250 for it)
Stay tuned guys.

Just ordered a Zagg full body shield at 40% off as they just got them and were doing a Halloween special I guess. I should have the Cleat Coat on Mon/Tues and the Zagg will probably be here the week after. I think I'll install the Clear Coat first, use it for a week or so and then install the Zagg and do the same.

I don't have mine yet but why on earth would there NOT be a cutout for the earpiece???
Some of you people may find this gayish but I am worried about how "scratchable" is the screen?
Ok, I can live with the fingerprints, simply wiping the device from time to time, but having some scratches on that marwellous screen would be a real disaster.
So far I can rank some devicer in terms of hardness of their screens' plastic:
1) iPhone (some kind of glass or smth.. hard to scratch)
2) HTC Diamond / PRO (plastic, but pretty hard though)
3) SE Xperia X1 (plastic, but i get the feeling of nearly scratching it with my nails)
So, where would you guys think the Touch HD would be?
PS: while answering, please omit alternatives of using screen protection film. Looks ugly and the efects a very manufacturer-dependant.
Thank you.
anyone?........
gayish...???
gayish...??? what is that???
Not sure how you can expect accurate feedback on this (i.e actual resistance to scrathing rather than just a feeling) without someone actually testing it (possibly accidently) on thier lovely new gadget
Also:
"PS: while answering, please omit alternatives of using screen protection film. Looks ugly and the efects a very manufacturer-dependant."
To be honest, a well designed and well applied screen protector is practically invisible (imho). Particularly with flush devices, since you don't get the edge around the recess.
I just applied one to the wife's iPhone a couple of months back and she did not even notice it. But she also dropped the phone the other day and I think it's time to order a new protector. Perhaps the screen would have survived scratch free, but I'd rather not take that chance
Zuber
Just my thoughts, Zuber.
A good screen protector, applied carefully, with patience! is a great thing! I use the Javoedge screen protectors and they are excellent. Doesnt even feel as if its there!
Just put one on my wife's iPhone yesterday, and there is no difference between using the device with the screen protector, and its not looking one bit different to "without" it.
I've tried the GadgetShieldz for my HTC Touch HD and it's really good, it installs quite fast and I paid $13.50 for two units. I will be testing my keys on it later today. Check it out:

scratchable
I scratched my screen after about a week. Best I can figure is it was on a metal rivet in my jeans just above my pocket... the scratch drives me crazy. I bought a replacement screen cover for about $20 and I'm waiting for the weekend to install it. There are many examples of these on ebay, here is one.
Dont' have a lab that can do experiment and tell you the hardness....but one thing for sure, HTC screen is scratch resistant. Had it for 6months, kept my screen sparkling clean all the time by cleaning it with microfibre cloth everyday. Till now, not a single scratch can be seen...happy with it!
Was in a Mac shop once, the iPhone sales person demonstrated the hardness of iPhone sceen by scratching with a pair of Scissors. Any dude dare try this on THD???
All that I've done so far is to take a coin and scratch a THD dummy display set in the shop. Absolutely no issue.....and I believe the dummy screen is the same as the real device.

I just bought my wife an iphone (2nd hand) which came with a Zagg shield (the whole phone not just the screen). Amazing stuff, seems unscratchable. The only thing with the full body shield is that it is impossible to get on 100% perfectly.....still....it's staying on and after a year (that's how old the phone is) the shield doesn't have a mark on it. There's a youtube video of someone scratching an iphone up with a set of keys and then attempting the same on one with a shield. Check it out...I was impressed.

Pictures for Invisible Shield (Full Body) on Fuze
Hi all,
Here is my Fuze that i covered with Full Body Invisible Shield. I like it, made it feel rugged and i can really put it at any surface now without worrying about scratching the sides. The four points or should i say eight points of the phone corners are not that protected. The IS has been covering my phone for almost 1 month.
I also increased the brightness and contrast of the pictures when i uploaded it so you guys could see the IS better.
I bought this so called "free lint cloth" from WalMart, but lo and behold, it's not actually lint free, it HAS lots of lint when i used it. So on the back of my Fuze, you will see a few white dots, those are the lints from the cloth. Well, lesson learn, gotta make sure it's lint free cloth
Hope the pictures help. But overall, i really like my IS.
thx for the pics - i wish someone would jsut release a decent non-glossy backcover replacement already for the fuze - i dont want to deal with protecting the back faceted stuff at all.
Do you find the screen protecter to reduce the screen sensitivity/scroll speed at all? The stock screen protector ive found to do this a little bit with my stylus input.

thx for the pics - i wish someone would jsut release a decent non-glossy backcover replacement already for the fuze - i dont want to deal with protecting the back faceted stuff at all.
Do you find the screen protecter to reduce the screen sensitivity/scroll speed at all? The stock screen protector ive found to do this a little bit with my stylus input.

It felt kinda weird after i first applied it, for the first week i would say, the IS feels alien sort of to the Fuze, but after that i let it cured under a desk lamp every night. During this time, i almost think about removing it and not using it, but i let it go and just wait after a few days and voila, it's really becoming the skin of my Fuze.
The screen becomes a little bit sticky with the stylus, i do have to get used to it, but after the first week, everything is good.
Eh. invisibleSHIELD doesn't do it for me. I'm ordering bodyguardz. It looks to unprecise.

Hi all,
Here is my Fuze that i covered with Full Body Invisible Shield.

Thank you so much for posting those pictures, it does worry me a bit that the corners are exposed, you would think that the corners would be the first to hit the ground when dropped but the good thing is that IS doesnt add bulk and allows the fuze to keep its good looks , leaning towords IS but have to do just a lil bit more research

would you consider bodyguardz has the most accurate precission compared to IS, ghost armor, and whatever else? I'm still trying to find a skin that is _specifically_ made for fuze and covering the corners as well.
i am thinking of getting bodyguardz.. been using them ever since
dont like Invisbile shield anymore but the back is good. front sucks
ghost armor never heard of them... might try it.
martinoverlay don't have it for fuze ):
best skinever = don't have it for fuze ):
blah hopefully i can find a discount to get a good deal :d
Insible Shield in Malls
I'm in the LA area and Invisible Shield has kiosk in some of the malls. You can se/touch/feel, etc.. it first hand. I looked at it and am going to have them (they cover the phone in about 45 minutes) my FUZE.
@cyberblue
So far, none of them covered the corners >.> none that I could find. This is because it would peel at corners and come off because they are round and not dead flat straight like the diamond is. There might be later. I ordered Bodyguardz after looking at the pictures and seeing that it looks much tougher and protects MUCH more area. and the invisible shield looks like crap. It is not fit for the fuze. Looking at the pics posted by someone on this forum, You'll notice that the screen protector and the front panel covers are not curved for the fuze. They're just straight.
***EDIT***
I'm curious. Since invisibleSHIELD usually has the correct dimensions and to the looks of this picture, it seems that the OP bought a touch pro body cover instead of a fuze body cover. I think that is a camera hole by the AT$T logo. But I'm not sure. I'll pm the poster of these pictures.

Yea,
I did buy the Touch Pro GSM version of IS. Indeed, there is a hole in my AT&T logo, the IS had hole in it, i should have just put the small IS holeto cover it , but my mistake, i threw it out and i forgot about it.

Ah. That is why the dimensions of the invisibleSHIELD are a little off.

Doesn't some of the Orange County malls carry em too?
I'm sure it's just a kiosk vending machine time. I don't think it puts it on for you. lol

I wish, I tried putting on a InvisibleSHIELD last week and that was a disaster.
So what's the trick to getting these weird screen protectors installed. Did you guys use a soap solution and try installing it wet? Or what. I've seen a bunch of people complaining they don't stay on.
I used diluted soapy water Spritz the screen Spritz The shield line it up and then use a rubber squeegee to get the liquid out from underneath with a microfiber cloth at the edges to absorb. leave the protective upper film in place while squeegee it may take a day or two to get out tiny little micro bubbles that are left underneath and they will dehydrate and seals as perfect here's some pictures to show you I did my wife's and mine.

You may be the first person in the world to get one of these things on.
I tried both of them, there is no instructions, no indication whether its dry and wet apply. I did the same with the solution from another screen protector kit I had but it was abysmal. I'm generally really good about getting these on too, especially plastic ones. Do it in the bathroom with a ton of steam from the shower to keep the dust off it. No luck at all. I ordered some cheapies on Amazon but who knows they will get here. Really not happy about using this unprotected.

Yeah, exactly the same for me. Tried the first one dry, the second wet. No luck either way. Now I'm waiting for the ones from Amazon to arrive and hope they'll do better.
Same, tried to put the first one on dry; had an absolute shocker, more bubbles than a Jacuzzi.
Will have a go at applying the second one wet as op has suggested.
With patience you can get a decent result
The two things included aren't screen protectors, OnePlus support informed me. If your phone didn't come with one already applied reach out to OnePlus. They instantly escalated my issue when I showed proof.

They definitely are screen protectors
I applied mine like I do the hydrogel ones from AliExpress, lift the back film just enough to line it up with the camera, then use a squeegee to apply while at the same time lifting off the rest of the back film. I had no bubbles whatsoever.

Damn, you're right. It did come with a protector applied. But what are those two things coming with it, when - as you say - they aren't screen spare protectors?
Mine with patience.

Doesn't cover everything so not perfect but honestly, I removed the P20 pro factory screen protector and left it bare, I treated it normally and absolutely nothing. Not one scratch so I run they three screen is actually strong enough on it's own, I'm just too worried to rest it

Mine did *not* come with one applied. I was kinda shocked, to be honest. It's the first OP phone that didn't have one applied from the factory. I do have the two that came with it, but haven't applied them because of all the reports of how much they suck. I've just been going naked for now.
As for the other reply, if they're not screen protectors, what in the world else could they be? That just doesn't make sense. I'm going to guess that's a language-barrier thing, as I've often had OnePlus support say things that don't make sense...
