battery bars - Mogul, XV6800 General

I have the verizon xv6800 and the battery status only show 3 bars when the charge is full. is there a way to make it show four, so when the battery life decreases it show me a more accurate amount of battery left?

I don't know how to fix that, but personally I use Batti (http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-download-batti-v2-1.html) to monitor my battery. It's a small (3pixels by default) gradient bar on the top of your screen which indicates battery strength. When clicked it brings up a dialog to show you the actual percentage of battery remaining. Hope this helps

thanks im gonna have to try this out

SPB Pocket Plus has a great battery status indicator that appears at the top of the screen, its definitely worth a mention.
It appears as a small bar across the top of the display. Either solid color gradiant from green to red, or into many bars.

Is battery life indicator & todays plug-in wasting batte

Hi all
I have SPB pocket plus, SPB weather and SPB Diary all running on my background. I charged my battery to full yesterday night, and this morning when i woke up, it was down to 5%.
I don't use IR,Wifi or Bluetooth and i dont have any thing else running on my background except for the SPB software
So i suspect that the battery life indicator on top of my screen and on todays plugin is using too much of my battery life, even when is on standby mode
does anyone else using spb pocket plus experiencing the same problem?
and what does "today timeout" in todays setting do?
by the way, this is my today screen

I use SBSH, ot SPB. But I doubt that is why your battery is draining. It's more likely to be caused by your phone searching for signal in a weak area.
I've only had such a battery drain once...when I forgot to shut off WiFiFoFum and fell asleep whist it was actively searching for APs. Oops.
thats weird
wifitoform should shut off because you cant turn on wifi during standby mode

Full Screen signal strength monitor

Hi All,
I'm looking to find out if T Mobile can provide at least as good signal quality as my existing Orange network.
However when i'm driving constantly looking at the tiny icon on the top of the screen is'nt really practical.
So,
What i'm looking for is some kind of small application that can run fullscreen or almost that enlarges the signal bars so I can see the strength at a glance.
Cheers in advance for any help
Shaun
Try a custom phonealarm skin.

Hi
Thanks, but the display is too small.
What i'm looking for is something I can run or put as a tab inside SBSH Pocketbreeze, that shows a nice BIG monitor or percentage even.
Just so at a quick glance the signal strength is close if not full screen on the display not the tiny thing stuck in the taskbar along the top
Hudson Phonedashboard will give you a percentage (but not in big writing). I don't think it is officially WM5 compatible but I've definately had it on my Exec and it didn't cause any problems.

Shaunfarris: clearly the strength meter in my skin is tiny, but it's a custom meter - you can make yours 320 pixels high if you wish. It's quite easy, and PhoneAlarm comes highly recommended.

there's a program called nicetrack that will show u signal strenght full screen although not in percentage it will graph where the signal is stronger and tell you which tower ur connected to.
I've seen all of these signal-battery indicators, but I personally prefer something that resembles the good old one found in the nokia cells (like the series 40 ones 8) ) this beacause I have a pretty empty Today screen ..

[Q] Battery icon in notification bar

I dont know if I'm alone on this but my battery icon does not seem to show the correct battery life left. For example, going to settings - about phone - status, it shows that the battery percentage left is 25%. Looking at the notification bar, it looks like theres 50% life left. Once it gets to <15% it starts to look accurate. Also it shows a full battery until it gets to about 75-80% left.

The text is a battery widget.
Is there anything I can do to fix it?
This is well aware of: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=756441 <-- workaround for the battery.
I just run an app called "Battery Indicator" . It puts a small icon on the notification bar with the actual battery percentage remaining.
They did choose some goofy trigger points for the default battery indicator.

Battery Percentage in Froyo 2.2

Hi,
in Froyo 2.1 there was battery percentage shown in taskbar (in top of screen). Now I tried nearly every App to get it in Froyo 2.2 ...but it just was not the same. So how can I get battery percentage shown in the battery-symbol in taskbar for free?
Regards,
Sandro
You need to install battery indicator from the market,it's free, and will do the job

You may have to reboot for the setting to be applied, but I usually don't need to.

Can you explain what kind of bug does battery indicator has, as I am currently using it (version 3.0)
Battery indicator, not exactly what I was looking for, because it adds an additional battery icon, but good enough.
Thank you

If you have a Cyanogen build like Shubcraft you can have the percentage placed inside the standard battery indicator on the status bar.
Go to Settings, CyanogenMod settings, User Interface, Status Bar, check Battery percentage. You might have to shut down and reboot.

Red Status Bar Battery Icon?

Hey all, I'm having a bit of a problem finding something I thought would be really easy to find

See how in the screen shot in the top left side of my status bar there is a red battery icon? I need an app that does just that. It needs to display a RED battery icon (that isn't really tiny) and preferably looks very close to those one or gives me some kind of variety
I've been looking for something like this, a simple red batter notification icon, for about a month with only the one result that I'm using now. What I'm using now is called "Simple Battery Widget" the problem with it is every 5-20 minutes it pops up with a "Simple Battery has crash blah blah" which is really annoying then it stops showing the correct battery level... So I'm getting tired of it that's why I'm asking you guys if you know of an app that will get me what I want...
Alternately, if there is a way to get red text up there I'd like that much more

I know some roms are able to change the colors but not an application.
