Is there any app or tweak that would change the size of my mogul's signal bars? I have the sprint small bars and was wondering if i can change them to the bigger bars. they are getting annoying being so small.

Settle down there, buddy! You need to find yourself a registry editor. There are plenty out there if you Google it. You'll likely figure it out from there.

can anyone help, i changed some settings and i am using the trial version, now i need to undo one of the settings as it has made some sort of "block" over where my signal and clock are.
anyone know of a serial/keygen/ something that i can do to get rid of this block???

Have you tried 'living in the past'? Put the date on your device back about a year and see if it works... No guarantees, sometimes it works (particularly with simpler protection schemes) and sometimes it doesn't.
Could you post a screengrab? I'm curious as to what you mean by 'a block'.

Alright, I unstalled the T Zone app on my TMobile Wing. It seems to have left the t-zone.lnk file (which I think is the file that allows the link to exist in the system tray) in the \Windows directory... I can't delete it, and I can't get it out of my system tray. Says it is either in use, or not accesible for various reasons.
Is there an app to modify the system tray with? I don't want to remove it, but I would like to remove a few of the icons from it.
This is really irritating! Any help would be appreciated!

In fact, TZones has apparently left all kinds of crap all over my Wing. blargh. I can't figure out how to remove any of it.
I just finished going through my entire registry to find any tzone entries and see if I could find how the icon keeps showing up. No luck at all.

I'd love to figure out how to remove icons out of there ... like the annoying "music player" or whatever that shows up on the today screen whenever you hard reset your phone. It puts a little icon down there that's like a house with a little musical note over it ... which is the most annoying thing in the world, bc I never use it.
I like some of the other icons that show up down there, so I don't want to completely remove the sys tray ... so I wish one of the smarter-that-me people out there could figure this out! hah
I've been all through the registry with little success. We really do need someone with a lot more knowledge to help with this.

Yeah, I've gone thru the registry a million times, but I just end up getting lost and confused in there... not to mention not knowing so much about it, I'm a bit hesitant to make a lot of changes... but those settings HAVE to be in there somewhere.
what i ended up doing is deleting the whole tray, Deleting Launch 92 ( i think ) in the Startup Registry
i also want to remove specific icons, but not all... SUbscribed.
since i have received a number of requests for the cabs i'm using, i will just post them here.
if i've forgotten any cabs or if you have any questions, please let me know.

Thanks for the SoftKey changer. That's a big plus. I wanted to change the left softkey since i've had the wing.
I was able to install Kaiser.HTC.Home.v2.0.814.722-schen.weatherpatched.zip and I love the look. Definitely an improvement from what I had. A couple questions about THAT though. First of all, the weather. It's a VERY nice feature. But unfortunately, it's not accurate. It says my city is like 26 degrees when it's like 80 today. If you need to know, my city is Providence and that's in the US. Unless there's another Providence city in the US and that's not mine. But there's only one to choose from.
Also, what's the difference between your BatteryStatusExt_Clock.1.05.CAB and the BatteryStatus I use from Chi-Tai or whatever?

change your degrees to Fahrenheit. you may need the home customizer for that, i'll post it.
as for batterystatus, it is from the same people, it is on their website, but you need that one in order to have the clock

I see. I'll be waiting for that Home Customizer then so I change to fahrenheit. I thought that might be the problem. I like the clock the way it is. So I guess I should keep the battery status I have already?
Also, what method did you use to remove the tray on the bottom? I thought it may be useful, but I don't think so anymore. I can always open stuff by the start menu or the launcher. As long as I can see the status of my battery on the today screen somewhere. Being able to lock it is useful too though. That way I don't accidently dial anybodys # and call them when my phone is in the carrier.
When the phones in landscape, the tray blocks what I have above it. I'd like to keep the appointments thing on the today screen.
i have configured the home plugin to just show the weather, is there anyway to remove the tab icon and the line that is below the city without disturbing the way that the plugin works?

for getting rid of the tray, use a reg editor and find this
\HKLM\init\Launch92
delete the value TrayAp.exe and restart your phone, viola!
it's not letting me upload anymore. it just sits there. i'll try to figure it out.
any you can get rid of the tabs with the customizer but choosing the transparent buttons, but they look like a solid gray

I was told by a friend that he believes that he heard of a cab that will do what the ipone can do as far as with the touch screen. I have tried touch commander. But its not what I'm looking for... Please help
i downloaded a .cab that gave me phone an iphone look.. didnt like it all that much. your best bet is to use the search function. you will find what you need.

Go to search up top right below where it says "Private Messages" and type in like "iphone look" or something. You'll find what you want.

i got the newest HTC from the site i posted. i don't like it, you can't put anything above it. i want battery status THEN HTC home, but it won't let me do that.
Hello all,
The clock on my HD2, which replaces the battery icon when using an application was originally digital, i dont know what i have done (if anything) which has turned it to analog.
It is very difficult due to the size to read this analog version, can anyone on here tell me a way to change this back to digital?
At one time if you hold down the clock up top on the today screen you could choose digital or analogue, maybe you still can and you changed it by accident. I have a task manager getting in my way to test it at the moment.

I have tried looking at all the settings to do with time but still haven't been able to find anything, not sure how it could have happened in the first place.
I take it by the lack of interest no one else is having this problem.

U can change your clock back to digital from the following registry key:
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Shell\AnalogClock
Change the value from 1 to 0... That should solve your issue.

How can I reduce the time that it takes to register my SMS messages as read? Some of my messages are a word or two long and in the time it takes me to read them the phone is still displaying them as new messages as I haven't had them open for the length of time required to register them as read. Any ideas?

i'm sure its something that we can play with in the registry... but i rather leave that in more "capable" hands... lol
but as for now.. i haven't seen anything on our forums come up along those lines... although i do admit that i would also be interested in reducing the time as well... all i really need is 1 sec... i dislike having to wait there on the messaging tab, until the notification goes away....

I'd love something like this. I hate that I get a text that says "yes" and I have to stare at that screen for about 5 seconds for it to be marked as read.

most annoying bit is when ya get a few msgs and ya flck thru em that fast that theres always one that stays "unread" and ya have to open all msgs to find it or else hover over all the ones uv just read till the 1 goes away... vote 1 from me to sort this out, it should go as soon as the text has landed on the screen, and same with emails if anyone can sort that one too lol

use the registry editor to confirm the value has changed. Sometimes, a registry edid might not be saved
