Cool, it's like that on the PS3.
Getting my X1 on Monday hopefully

yes,
the color of the background, changes in relation to the time of the day
Color list and time-line:
Ocean Blue: from 00:00 to the 06:59
Green: from 07:00 to the 13:59
Clear Blue: from 14:00 to the 19:59
Amber: from 20:00 to the 23:59
watched my image...

you excuse me, for my bad English

ehh, so why do I have the color amber right now, 16:12?

to the Russian firmware
times very different
Ocean: from 19:00 to 05:00
Waves: from 05:00 to 10:00
Sky blue: from 10:00 to 15:00
Amber: from 15:00 to 19:00

Hmm
As a PS3 owner (that doesn't use themes) it seemed obvious to me that the colour change was time related? Sony (Ericsson) Xperia <-> Sony Playstation. Although I would prefer if it went black at night like the PS3, because it can sometimes be too bright in the dark, same thinking for why the PS3 goes black at night.

A bit off topic but anyway to get it play WMA files. All my media are in WMA format.

Anyone knows how to change the Media Experience Panel background color?
My Media Experience Panel background color which is usually blue, turn into red, I don't know why.
it was changed when you changed the xperia panel background colour. go to the options and select ocean, and your media panel will be blue again... when you select the xperia background - the media panel will take the last colour selected.

Link to post.
However am not sure what he meant.
PS Thank you for everything! Without you I would not have been able to get rid of Vodafone rom.
Thanks Devs.
The panel has 4 different colours - they change according to the time of day!
Idea
Maybe we should make a thread about how to change the damn colours at each time of day? The only time I ever use my phone is when the colours are the darn awful orange and the other, (not blue or turquoise). I would prefer it to be the navy blue all day long or turquoise in the day and navy blue at night.
Good Idea

That makes sense!
Thanks for the info.
@alias_neo: Yeah, the best colours are the blue & turquoise and they seem to change come on at morning and evening, when I least use my phone. Well the devs here have managed to cook roms so I'm sure setting up a different colours cant be that hard, I hope.

[Q] How to fix the ugly gradients in the settings/etc?

I get ugly gradients in the settings menu and other screens that try to use the black gradient effects

I seem to remember there being a specific image that can be replaced with an image with smooth gradient or any image of your choice which would be used, I will have a look through my past history and files to try and find it.

I've found this post with files to make all the backgrounds black, so in theory locating the file and replacing with a smoother gradient one should to it. Going to look at now and see if I can locate and alter succsesfully, will update on progress.

As I kind of thought, not quite as simple as replacing the file as it's within the framework-res.apk file. Though it's possible to do and can be done. Think this maybe a project for tomorrow.
Thanks im surprised this isnt baked into rom's

Any transparent substratum theme?

I like the transperancy of iOS and if we had it on Android, it would make the rom look more beautiful. I can't find any online. I want it to something like this I.e. pulling down the notification shade.

Try Havoc OS v2.2, it has a option to make the System UI transparent

Or try Pitch Black

Own amoled wallpaper

It's not only for note9
I would like to create amoled wallpaper with black
Is true black only for hex #000000
Or
RGB 0 0 0
Or is there a margin ?
For example if I create wallpaper with RGB colour 1 1 1
The screen will not emit any light or this is only for complete 0
I don't know how to describe it one a proper way but I hope you will understand me
RGB looks good,
