Anyone knows how to change the Media Experience Panel background color?
My Media Experience Panel background color which is usually blue, turn into red, I don't know why.
it was changed when you changed the xperia panel background colour. go to the options and select ocean, and your media panel will be blue again... when you select the xperia background - the media panel will take the last colour selected.

However am not sure what he meant.
PS Thank you for everything! Without you I would not have been able to get rid of Vodafone rom.
Thanks Devs.

The panel has 4 different colours - they change according to the time of day!

Idea
Maybe we should make a thread about how to change the damn colours at each time of day? The only time I ever use my phone is when the colours are the darn awful orange and the other, (not blue or turquoise). I would prefer it to be the navy blue all day long or turquoise in the day and navy blue at night.

Good Idea

That makes sense!
Thanks for the info.
@alias_neo: Yeah, the best colours are the blue & turquoise and they seem to change come on at morning and evening, when I least use my phone. Well the devs here have managed to cook roms so I'm sure setting up a different colours cant be that hard, I hope.

Color Scheme (White --> Black Background) Question

I wanna save energy, so, how do I turn the white background into a black one, and foreground vice versa?
Could someone please help me I'd be very grateful
Dan
There was a black theme here somewhere, look for a thread on WM 5 theme creating.
Note that this changes absolutely nothing battery vise (though it is easy on the eyes and matches my Jamin case color).
The colors LCD displays make no difference in terms of power consumption (there is a blog on this by some MS guy but I really don't remember the link).
If you want to save battery reduce your back-light intensity (Start->Settings->System->Backlight) as this is one of the major battery eaters on the device.

Thx found it here.
K. Now there wouldn't be a way to turn this down with any more steps than in the built-in-system, coz I can only turn this down one notch before blackness and then it's still pretty bright. Thanx.

classic black theme - - highlight color?

hi, i just downloaded the classicblack.tsk theme from these boards and love it!
when i highlight on things, tho, it remains blue. any way to make the highlight something else, like silver? (also, the close button "X" remains blue as well, if there is also a fix...)
thanks so much!
http://rapidshare.com/files/82515668/HTC_Themes.rar
Try this one
those themes are grey, not the deep black that is the classic black theme i downloaded here. i just want a way to enhance that theme by making the highlights and the X/Close box not the default blue... thanks anyway, tho!
here is something really weird. now that i switched back to classicblack from the htc ones, my highlight color is now grey. as tho, the classicblack theme always takes the highlight color from the last theme used. (my last theme was blue originally, so that is probably why it was using blue). so, does that mean that after a hard reset, i will have to use the htc theme (or some grey or silver theme) first before using classicblack.tsk in order to get that kind of highlight?
try UI Tweaker, don't ask me where is the right option though

[REQUEST] A bunch of themes and them questions

Having used Manilla2d for a few weeks now I have decided I like it and would like to make the rest of my WM6 look the same. So I have a few questions.
1. Is there a tsk for the flat blue o2 xda ignito, or a way to make a flat black tsk have a blue highlight color. Or any way to make flat colored themes at all. I have used some of the the theme editors, but have not been able to get flat colors to work for the taskbar and the softkey bar. This is probably due to my own incompetence. Currently I am using UI tweaker, but I would like to minimize the number of programs I am using since M2d takes up so much space.
2. Can the opal task manager that comes with manilla2d be skinned? If so, since I have no idea how to do it, is it possible to have the background be the manilla2d blue background, with a blue highlight color?
3. I am also using the opal comm manager. The one with the white background with blue slider bars. I am being anal now, but I was wondering if you can change the text under the slider bars from ON OFF to On Off. This has been bothering me.
4. Can the full screen player have a green or blue progress bar rather than a red one?
I will include the versions I am using. Thanks for sticking with me, I am getting pretty ridiculous.
Thanks
I am the king of bad thread titles
Well i just got done watching some House. Hopefully this will be on the front page long enough for the right people to read it. I will check back tomorrow.

Any way to change font colour on Home Screen?

Are there any tweaks to change the colour of the font displaying Missed Calls/Calendar/Date/Alarm etc on the Home Screen (or even better, to have an opaque box behind the text)?
I have some nice photos I want to use as backgrounds, but they are mostly white so I cant see any text!
Cheers,
Doc
same for me... i wanna use a more lighter background picture. But with the white letters its not really useful.
Try this free UI Tweaker
- it is a collection of 4 utilities used to customise the outlook and color scheme of the Pocket PC. This collection includes a simple theme manager and utilities to change the system colors as well as the Today color scheme.

could you please tell me if this tool works for you and your HD? I want to change my home screen font color too but i still didn`t found a way...
Thanks,
Brad
I've look also for the exactly same thing and I've reached to the following conclusion: you can't do anything about it.
I've tried tons of programs, registry editing, hexa editing etc. Spend days on the issue. Nada, nothing. I even some some experienced users saying that it can be changed almost any colors on tabs, exept the ones above.
LE: I think the most closest possibility for us to obtain this effect is to manually edit the wallpaper and place some dark boxes where the text is written, but this means that the dark boxes will apear on every other tab also.
hello...I have tried this UItweaker on my touch hd...
I tried the one to change the today screen font color...
and spinning wheel of death occured...
so I killed the UITweaker but the font color indeed changed
I soft reseted and changed it back - again spinning wheel of death - and after having back to nromal I removed it because it seems like not the program I want to my mess my phone...since it seems the device does not like it....
and anyway..i think that after having this program my google mpas started to be stupid - I dont know if it really is because of this - but now the google maps show My Location as a venezuela...that is not true, I am in middle europe...WTF I want it work again normally...
this sucks
so if you want try it, it changes the color, but it is not working flawleslly and I hate that...
The UI Tweaker only messed up my other colors, but doesen't changed the color I wanted.
Take care using it.
I also had issues with UI Tweaker, I somehow changed the background of the buttons on the home page (Phone, Programs, x button etc) to pink and couldnt change it back!
I remember seeing a Russian Rom that had black text on the home screen, so I do think its possible.
My workaround for the moment is to edit the background pic and draw an opaque box where the info is displayed.
I think it looks quite cool! It does take a bit of messing around (trial and error) to get it in the right place, and I still have to add a few more (date/alarm)... work is quite busy atm so I dont really have the time!
If I do find another way, I will post it here.
As I said, the only problem for this workaround is that in all other tabs, the background will apear with the boxes from the HOME tab.
I wonder if it is a way of having different wallpapers for each tab.
Must search that.
LE: Found that: Change wallpapers. It gives a solution how to have a different background picture for the rest of the tabs.
so simple
go to settings > home screne > scroll to color scheme & select > scroll to : text: black" then select done

[Q] changing the color of the phone, contacts, and messaging screens

I just recently got my Note 3 last week through At&t and I'm highly satisfied. I have a question that I have not found the answer to yet. The phone, contacts, and message screens are predominantly white with black font. I kind of have a hard time with this due to my bad eyes. I can see better with a black background with white font. Is there a way to change these screens to black? I have watched some YouTube videos and see people with black backgrounds And White font in these screens. Help please.

i have a n9005 branded voda phone.
its overall colour re dailer, messages ,contacts is standard a darkish blue /black with white letters.
so it seems it a carrier thing .?( your colour white with black font or did you by accident enable a wrong settings ?)
one thing, have you tried to go.....settings /device/accessibility then scroll down to negative colours (reverse the colour of screen )
if i tick it my dark screen will be reversed to white etc..etc untick and i have darkscreen with white lettering
there is also other very good settings on that page eg..font size ...short cut
see screenshot ..have you tried this ?
good luck .
