Since both xdarit and OSImagetool won't write to my sd card, I would like to ask some help in writing the syntax for using the psdwrite command foiund in Jeff tools.
I found from earlier post written by Itsme:
"you can write it to sd with psdwrite 0 7680 wallabypatch-sd.img
this will write the image to the sd card in your xda.
psdwrite can be found in the same tools collection as pnewbootloader."
Could some please make a brief IDIOT guide to use the command? Thanks a lot in advance....
it writes to the sdcard in your xda, the tool runs on your desktop pc, connect your xda to your pc via activesync, by putting it in the cradle.
it only writes raw images, so you won't be able to use it to write an nb1 to sd card. you will have to manually create the header and checksum.
it's main use is to write wallaby patch loaders to sd.
as parameters it takes the disknumber ( which is '1' for the xda-1, or on the xda-2 : '1'=extended rom, '2'=storage, '3'=sdcard )
followed by the starting offset in bytes on the disk.
followed by the length in bytes,
followed by the file where to read the raw image from.

I managed to write the patch tool using xdarit.....it's been a strange experience for me with writing to SD cards. I used the same procedures and SD cards, but out of over 60 trials, I managed only twice. I have no idea why ...
Now my next challange is to write a flashable GSm ROM SD card. One guy mentioned that this is not possible . I tried to back up a GSm ROM to SD from another working xda, unfortunately the bootloader was a 5.17 (ALL xda here are 5.17). After patching, the GSM ROM to SD menu "disappear" from the bootloader. The owner would not let me 'downgrade' his 5.17 to 5.15

I have a defect bootloader on my Himalaya, and it is not possile to copy the Rom on the SD-Card.
After copy I get a Message "Add record is error", and the SD-Card in nonformated.
what can i Do??

I have a HTC touch dual which was in espanol language (movistar branded) and i had did hrdspl 1.22 and was trying to load a english rom when the flashing stopped inbetween and now the phone just goes into the tri colour mode! i did try to flash back a rom thru the RUU, but the phone is not found on the system and when i tried the SD card function it gives me an error "0080022" and says not allowed!
so is there any way i could get hold of this rom to flash back thru sd card! or any other way pls do share!

language: espanol with movistar branding

generally in a flash the rom via a storage card that you have to do step
- Prepare a micro SD card about 2 gb and FAT32 formats.
- Find the image file in NBH format and rename to NIKEIMG.NBH.
- copy to the card, you can use a card reader for this.
- restart the phone in bootloader and press start to launch
as described above, my HTC HD Mini doesent boot anymore. After the HTC logo, the display remains just black and nothing happens. In the boot menu, I'm still there and says:

ENGID 0xF
PCBID 0x80
I have tried tried to install standart ROM many times. The installation is always succesfully. But there is no OS! its always the same problem! ithink i can´t write on the NAND. There is NO OS!

According to installation everything goes smoothly, but the phone has no OS, and therefore still does not boot!

FORMAT sd card in FAT 32 (as does HD2 2GB SD Sandisk)
COPY FILE to SD CARD
RENAME FILE RUU: PHOTIMG.nbh
SD CARD TO PUT IN THE PHONE
TURN IN BOOTLOADER (volume down + POWER)
VIDEO TO FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS.
ROM (EU ROM) TESTED ON MY PHONE 100%

Please Help me. My phone was bricked after flashing a bad zip file. It does not turn on at all.
I need the mmcblk0 image file to put it on a SD card and boot from it. I did not find it anywhere.
Please help me I do not have enough money to buy a new phone in these economical situations.
