This is a bulletin board, not a chat-room. Sometimes, it takes hours before someone reads your post, and even then, they may either not have an answer for you, or they might not care.
I, for example, do not have an answer for you. I do care, if that provides you with any comfort. Frankly, I think this would be a nice feature...I suspect its legality, however, may be in question.
this might work
who cares about the word legal and its other forms. I use my note recorder to record conversations and to record songs and videos to make my ringtones. speakin of which, anyone knows how to use my own tone foe new msg

Recording incoming audio from a phone connection is unfortunately something the Wizard cannot do. It's a hardware limitation, so there's sadly no solution.
ive recorded conversations with the note recorder app. and that app game with the phone. ive done...it works.
try vito audio notes. I have used it with descent results
sorry for replying late.i had not been keeping well so could not reply soon.
thank you all for replying to my query.
well i did try vito and also note recorder but am not at all happy with the result.people who have used it might agree with me that the voice from the other end is not recorded properly.
sam said its hardware limitation.i am not sure if thats true.i have also tried pm recorder which have me better results than the other two mentioned .but the problem was still the same i.e the sound from the other end was not recorded clearly.
please help me to find a correct software to do so..
Hello there,
at first: Please excuse my really english, but i will do my best - So here is my question:
How can I catch an incoming SMS-event of a specified number?
My idea: I bought a GPS/GSM system an build it up in my car. If the alarm of my car starts (by shaking, crash a window, what else) i recieve an SMS. No i want to write a litte application that catches that number and starts a loud sound that I will wake up immedeatly.
So, can you help me? I used the "search-button" but I didn't find a word about it... (maybe I used the wrong words for searching)
Best greetings from germany
Henning
PS: My system: XDA Orbit I, Visual Studio 2008, i wrote 2-3 little apps (Hello World, and so on... you know )!
I think rk-sms might be able to help you.

First of all sorry for my english, im not a native speaker
EDIT: Let me explain again, i dont want a new contacts app nither a new dialing app. What i want is an app that changes the answering call ui like easy answer (http://www.appbrain.com/app/easy-answer-button-free/org.nsd.easyanswer) but with better design and mainly i want REALLY BIG buttons for easy access when im driving, my main goal is to place my optimus on the car dock and by using an app that i already have to make all calls go trough loud speaker having an easy and free hands free
If anyone could help me find sutable app i would be really greatful
You can use GO Contacts... a contacts and call manager for android... it is in market if u can acces (maybe a newer version)... otherwise you can download it here.
Sorry i think i explained myself wrong i have now edited the first post to make myself clear

I'm using Sondvold's ICS 0.10.1. How can I get 2way call recording on this rom? I looked at heap of apps but don't know where to start trying, it needs to be easy to toggle on/off if required. Any help much appreciated.
Im not 100 % sure, but try to find an kernel that supports 2way calls for your Device ;-)
Or ask into your Rom thread of the Rom u use if it supports the 2way call
Thanks for the quick reply . I take it from your repsonse that the ability to 2 wat record has to be written in to the kernel? Is that correct? If so explains why I can't find a decent app to do it ...
You can request developer to patch the kernel for 2 way call recording. Otherwise use skvalex's 2 way call recorder.apk try searching in xda search for it. Hope it will help u.

Hmmm I see. I'm thinking I may do the research and learn how to patch kernels myself...will save me future issues I suppose...many thanks for your helpful, quick responses, great forum

Open app, click the "Everyone" list to make it active and try to call both sims... then let me know if it works.
