I found it by using "change boot splash screen" in the search function.
when you say boot up screen...do you mean the normal windows screen??
or the operator screen....as i want to get rid of the tmobile boot screen?

Splash Screen Backup

I've just upped my IPL/SPL to 3.08, GSM to 2.69.11, and I'm about to try out Faria's WM6 ROM, but I'd like to backup my initial boot screen before I do- I'm not sure if I still have the image located anywhere else and would rather not re-author it!
I've already backed up the welcomehead.96.png file for the second splash screen, but I'm up against a wall trying to pin down how I can back up the inital splash screen! Any and all help would be greatly appreciated... Thanks!

If you have your original ROM backed up, just use wizard service tools and run the nbf to nb tool. When you run that it will seperate it all out in to its constituent parts. 9d000000-HTC is the first splash screen, 92000000-Splash is the second splash screen and the welcomehead.96.png is actually the third splash screen. I just can't figure out why you would need to back those up.
I wanted to back them up so I'd have them to employ in my new Faria ROM instead of the splash screens included. As I mentioned, I'm not sure that I have the initial splash screen saved anywhere, so instead of reauthoring it, it would have been convenient to have a backup.
However, since I didn't get a reply before flashing (impatience!) the splash screen is gone, anyways. I do have a "myrom" .bin backup from WizBackup, though- any chance I could pull my splash screen out of there to your knowledge?
All you have to do is download the ROM you had on there from your service provider and then use wizard service tools just like I told you how to do in my first post here and you'll be able to extract the first 2 splash screens out of it. Getting the 3rd splash screen out of it is doable, but a lot more complicated and since you said that you already have it backed up I won't go into that anyway.
Here's some AT&T splash screens that I found. I have no idea if they are the ones you had before or even what they look like but you're welcome to try them out and see if you like them or not. Just run the RUU and it will install them for you.
I'm sorry, perhaps the miscommunication here is that I totally customized/modified/created/crafted/digitally graphically enhanced 2 of the 3<?> splash screens the Wizard shows on booting... I'm not looking for the stock Cingular and WM screens. I was looking to back up my CUSTOMIZED splash screens- sorry, thought I had mentioned that... I'll try and pull apart my WizBackup .bin and see if I can dig the initial splash screen I'm looking for out of that, I guess...

oh, I understand. I didn't realize you had done them yourself. Hopefully they're in your wizbackup.bin then. Good luck.

Brand Logo Screen Change.

Is it possible to edit the boot screen like the brand logo for example?
Can you put a different brand on it or maybe your own image?

Bootscreen

Hi,
i have searched all the forum... but found nothing helpful.
i want to change the the bootup screen, when i push the softreset button.
on the normal P3450 there is a black screen, showing smart mobility. in my case there is a branding screen.
how can i remove this screen or change it?
nbimg: HTC splash screen tool
This may be of some use, I have a zip (Splash Screen Changer) that I found around here somewhere, I don't know where, and I haven't tested it. I will search around to see if I can get it again, I think it was by dsixda maybe, but I am not too sure.
thank you, but i cant change it with this sort of tool. i think its a part of the rom, maybe embedded....
It is the screen you will see, before you get into the bootloader, not the windows booting screen.

Then you need to re read the thread. It creates a rom update utility to flash only the splash screen. I did this to get rid of the t-mobile splash screen.

[Question] Remove Brand-Logo on Boot

Hej,
when I flashed my first custom ROM I hoped that this ugly Vodafone-boot logo which appears directly after powering up would get removed/changed, but - as you may know - ROMs only change the splash screen which appears after the logo.
Does anyone know how the boot screen/logo/whateveritmaybecalled can be changed or removed?
Greetz
Search "How to change splash screen" there's a few guides.
