[Question] Remove Brand-Logo on Boot - myTouch 3G, Magic General

Hej,
when I flashed my first custom ROM I hoped that this ugly Vodafone-boot logo which appears directly after powering up would get removed/changed, but - as you may know - ROMs only change the splash screen which appears after the logo.
Does anyone know how the boot screen/logo/whateveritmaybecalled can be changed or removed?
Greetz

Search "How to change splash screen" there's a few guides.

or the operator screen....as i want to get rid of the tmobile boot screen?

App Request: Custom Splash Screen Flashing on the Fly

I know POF had a post about how to cook up an nbh file to flash as a splash screen but I'm wondering if there's a way to do it without being at your PC?
Is there a way to create an nbh file with an image in it to flash as your splash screen while you are mobile (and flash via the SD card method)?
You just want to change your splash screen?
Questions go in the Questions & Answers section.
I'd like to be able to change the boot up splash screen without having to flash via USB.

Click to collapse
So replace the image file.............
That changes the second splash though, not the first. Correct?

nbimg: HTC splash screen tool
This may be of some use, I have a zip (Splash Screen Changer) that I found around here somewhere, I don't know where, and I haven't tested it. I will search around to see if I can get it again, I think it was by dsixda maybe, but I am not too sure.
thank you, but i cant change it with this sort of tool. i think its a part of the rom, maybe embedded....
It is the screen you will see, before you get into the bootloader, not the windows booting screen.

Then you need to re read the thread. It creates a rom update utility to flash only the splash screen. I did this to get rid of the t-mobile splash screen.

Removing the vodafone loading screen

Ok I am tired of seeing this everytime I boot. Is it possible to remove the vodafone boot screen? I found a topic on how to change your splash screen but I was worried that would replace my cyanogen mod animation.
So I guess a better question is, does changing the splash screen change the vodafone loga or the boot animation?
No, the splash screen is stored with your bootloader while the bootanimation is stored with the ROM system data.

[Q] Changing the boot splash image

Hi there, I was wondering if it were possible to change the boot splash image on the mako? Not the boot animation, the part that comes before it ( the screen with Google written in white). And if so, could someone provide me with the required steps.
Thanks
