I copied the manila files onto the virtual device to see if it would just work but it doesnt (see attachment).. does anybody know how to get this working? or is it just not possible.. it's just for testing reasons.. so i dont need to drain my battery while testing my edited manila files
maybe i missed some files or something.. but it would open wouldnt it..? and say starting tf3d but it would crash

soo found a cab on the internet that.. ehh.. kinda works.. (see second screenshot)
it just says that.. nothing is working.. anyone has a solution for this..?

NOTE-2 Although at some HTC Diamond, it was reported that with some small bugs, it is working. But for me with Official ROM Ver 1.35 NOT WORKED
Without any problem, I was able to install. But after then, When I try to start to program from "Programs / Multimedia/ Footprint" I get the following error message
"The file 'HTCFootprint.exe' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring this file."
NOTE-3 If you have enough space at your STORAGE, you can try and see if it works for you. Do not worry, UNINSTALL is working perfect, At least works for me
But please do not forget that **INSTALL AT YOUR OWN RISK, AS STATED BELOW IT HAS BUGS STILL**

Feb. 2ND) HTC Footprint CAB - WORKS WITH TF3D

This version of Footprint is based on.......HTC_Footprint_1.01822.3925 (This is the 2D Manilla version, but will work with TF3D)
I have done some modifications to make this work on my Fuze, but it should work just fine on the Touch Pro, or Diamond. Currently this version does NOT have the "Footprint Tab" on the home screen. I don't have lots of time on my hands so bear with me on updates. If anyone wishes to step in and modify it more, its all yours.

download, rename to ****.cab, move to your phone and install.
doesnt work on diam100 with udk 2.3 rom "cetificate...trustetd......"

First of all thanks for the help and support from this forum. without you i dont know what i will be doing with a windows mobile phone.
so to the topic - guys can anyone cook a windows mobile vanilla wm6.5 rom with the original htc ship rom album. i kinda like the circle to zoom feature and the rotate feature in the oiginal album. i have been trying to do it my self but couldnt get it to work. and i tried to overwrite the album.exe file with a file i found from this forum by searching which was said to work when over written but it says the program is in use and i tried other ways and got it overwritten but still it doesnt work. all my attempts have failed so i would like this very much thanks and i really appreciate the work you guys are doing.
No replies - i guess its not possible then. guys is there anyway i can get the original album on an already cooked rom like miris 6.5 rom.

Miris repository has the cab for that . Just install that and you have it

I'm sorry for this surely stupid and noob question.. but I'd like to understand: which is the difference between this Manila 2D and the TouchFLO 3D v2.1.xxxx that come with some new Blackstone cooked ROM?
I have been searching for a lot about Manila 3D and TouchFLO standalone cab releases to install on Blackstone Mario SuperLite ROMs in order to understand the behaviour and the differences ..but I was able only to find a cab of TF3D v1.3.35345.1_1630.38 and none one for TF3D v2.1.xxx.......
Long short story: I have not clearly understand the difference between Manila version releases and (above all) the difference between Manila 2D (TF2D ??) and Manila 3D (TF3D ??).. Is there any kindly expert mind who can explain me, please?
Excuse me again for this noob question.. but I have to recover to much lost time and knowledgement in the WM HTC interface evolution.

i don't think u will be able to find any standalone cab with manila instalation for Touch HD...there are some VGA ports but nothing for WVGA....apparently it's too complex and could be done only by flashing new ROM... at least that is the answer i got some time ago...

Did you check the developer? As far as I know, it hasn't be made yet. I have a old version from my Wing days as it sucks.

Try dumping the stock PURE ROM. Then create a cab from the dump. Search for QuickCab to create cab files.
The tilt2 does have it on the stock rom
So does anyone have a cab of it? im on a mac and am not able to use bootcamp

I have installed wad 2.5, message2reg and mortscript 4.2 cab but than after I want to install your cab it says that installation was unsuccessful!!
I have tried than soft reset and installing again your cab again, but same error!
I had the same problem on the start ( check post 2 ).
It seems that its need wm6.5.

I was using your 6.5.3 rom in full version ( i don't remember version).
Sorry but the problem comes from your rom, the .cab files works correctly.
Makes hard reset or change your Rom, my theme work on WM6.1 and WM6.5 without any problem:
My tests : Touch HD, Touch HD2, Diamond 2 and Diamond = work correctly
How it is going on with translating ?

Followed instructions perfectly, theme installed no problem, edited the text to english perfectly.
Great theme, enjoyed playing with it thanks!, but not practical for everyday use so back to WM6.5 for me
