where the date and time used to be in my toolbar at the top, a circle with a line through it and a number 10 inside has appeared, anyone know what it is?
You have changed the clock from Digital to Analog.
To change it back, Long tap on the icon, then select Digital.

Easy question...
For the life of me, I can't fathom out how to enter a £ symbol using the hardware keyboard, the 'soft' keyboard or the transcriber.
Can anyone help?
How much time/effort did you put to solve this problem, huh?
For soft keyboard, just click on the '123' on the top left will give you a number and symbol keyboard with £ around.
For transcribe, you just draw the £ normally. If you have problem how the symbol is drawn, click on the second-from-the-left button at the bottom, click on the right-arrow to locate the £ symbol. At the top, tap on the picture for it to show you how to draw them.

Just need to work out how to do similar with the keyboard now, but at least I have a workaround!
double tap the red dot to put on symbol lock, tap g, then tap the space bar twice. double tap the red dot again to take symbol lock off.

Thanks to Lurker0 amongst others I can now easily divert my SPV M3100 to another number and cancel it very easily.
I would like if it is possible to have a visible icon on my Today screen or top or bottom task bars that shows it is diverted... I can tap the signal meter and see the symbol in the BUBBLE that appears but it is not the easiest thing to do whilst driving...
Any suggestions....

If you push green phone button, you'll see that the dialer has the icon showing diverted calls. Push OK to return to Today. It can be done with one hand.
And I miss such an icon in the top bar too
For some reason my clock on the main screen (top right) has changed from digital to analogue. I didn't change anything so either it was by accident or it somehow changed on its own. What's even weirder, when I press the on button for it to wake up from standby, sometimes the clock is back to digital, but only for a few seconds and then it's analogue again. Any idea where I can change this? Couldn't find anything in settings. Thanks.
Tap and hold on the clock. You will then be presented with your choice of Analog or Digital.

hi i new to this but when i got my phone second hand someone had already put a different rom on it (kumars). its cool and i like it but today something strange happened. I am now missing a couple of icons such as if you hit start there was a padlock icon to lock the screen. it is now gone but you can still press the area and it will lock. secondly, when you press the call button to go into the make call menu, the "menu" icon is gone. you press the area and it works. strangly enough, when you press the area the "close" icon will appear
Has anyone loaded the samsung analog weather clock widget? And have you noticed that the actual time is off by a few hours???? But if press the clock and goto the weather screen its right in the digital portion?

Figured it out
1) Tap the bar under the clock to set the city.
2) Tap the menu key.
3) Tap Set DST (bottom right corner, picture of a sun).
4) Tap your city name at the top of the screen and you will see an orange sun appear next to it when DST is on and tapping it again removes it.
5) Tap Done and then tap the Back key.
