Hi,
Thanks to Lurker0 amongst others I can now easily divert my SPV M3100 to another number and cancel it very easily.
I would like if it is possible to have a visible icon on my Today screen or top or bottom task bars that shows it is diverted... I can tap the signal meter and see the symbol in the BUBBLE that appears but it is not the easiest thing to do whilst driving...
Any suggestions....
Many thanks Phil
If you push green phone button, you'll see that the dialer has the icon showing diverted calls. Push OK to return to Today. It can be done with one hand.
And I miss such an icon in the top bar too

Does anyone know of a way to actually remove the New menu from the task bar? I can remove all the items from it easily enough and remove the menu button from the left of it but I'd like to get rid of it altogether.
I have eleven items already displayed down there and as soon as anything starts that creates another icon, it disappears out of view 'behind' the New menu. In particular, because PZP like the left hand of the task bar, it keeps disappearing from view which is a real pain.

Hey,
Anytime I open up my phone to text a white bar shows up at the bottom of the screen. It's been happening for like 2-3 weeks now, but can't figure out what it is. Basically anytime I slide up, the screen switches to landscape and it automatically has a white bar on the bottom. If I click the screen, everything is moved and the screen reacts like the bar isn't there(as in I have to click an inch below anything I want to actually hit)
Any ideas? Thanks guys!
Really? No one can help?
Can you post screenshots of your screen?
Is this a physical screen problem or a graphic problem?
V
How can I tell which is which?
The problem is pretty easy to explain, dunno how to do a screenshot... Basically it is my normal screen, just like always, except at the bottom there is a white bar, maybe 1/4 inch thick. What it does is move all my graphics up. So the start bar is not visible, and the send button(for txt messaging) would be right above the white part.
If I hit something I can see on the screen, it will act like I'm hitting where the graphic is supposed to be. For example, on the text messaging screen, if I hit the part that says "Inbox" (which is located at the very top of my screen because of the white bar), it will bring up the Start Menu as if I hit the start menu(which I did tap where the start button would be if the white bar wasn't there, but graphically the start bar is off the screen and I am tapping where the start button would be, but instead it is now the Inbox button that is there instead, but the behavior acts like there is no white bar there)
i just installed 2 new hotfixes off of htc's website for improved slider function when answering calls and also improvement of screen flicker.
what i noticed is that when i'm ready to make a call, on the screen in the bottom left hand corner there is a button with a slider between the phone icon and the camera icon (i guess for video calls). what i notice now is that superimposed over this button are the words "Call Hi..." exactly as I typed them.
before, i used to be able to slide the button over to enter video calling, which obviously cannot be used on at&t. but now, when i try to slide the button, it takes me to my call list.
so i don't know if i should uninstall the hotfixes or if this is normal.
anyone else experience this?

not any solution for the moment
hi i new to this but when i got my phone second hand someone had already put a different rom on it (kumars). its cool and i like it but today something strange happened. I am now missing a couple of icons such as if you hit start there was a padlock icon to lock the screen. it is now gone but you can still press the area and it will lock. secondly, when you press the call button to go into the make call menu, the "menu" icon is gone. you press the area and it works. strangly enough, when you press the area the "close" icon will appear
When I press the Phone application ( I know it's strange to actually speak with someone over a smartphone these days.) the top half of the screen has icons of the six people I called recently, and the bottom half of the screen has a list of the recent calls the phone has sent and received.
I know this may sound crazy, but when I enter the telephone mode, I would actually like to have the number buttons appear on the screen immediately; similar to what a real telephone looks like. I don't want to have to make another step to press the keypad button every time. If I want to use my contacts to make the call, I'll start with the Contacts application, or press the Contacts tab at the top of the screen.
Is there a setting to make the Phone application actually look like a phone?
