Sounds like your device is not liking life.... did you drop it before this started happening?
I assume you have had the phone for less than a year so try returning it and see what o2 say.
thanks..
i got the cell secondhand....and no warranty too..can i please no what the problem is and how much will it cost to get the screen repaired..
I've got the same problem here with my UK T-Mobile MDA Vario.
I've contacted T-Mobile through their website but have received no further response after telling them that I bought the device from Ebay.
Can anyone suggest as to how to fix the problem? Thank you.

HI guys!
Help Needed Big time.
I am using an O2 Mini s from the past 6 months. Everything was running smoothly until one day when the screen started getting white. Initially the problem would persist for a fraction of second a soft reset would rectify it. Now the problem has worsened. The entire screen is white i cant see anything on the screen but can receive calls. At times i can see a faded owner information but nothing more than that.
Could you guys please help me? I dont know what the problem is all about and how to fix it. I love this phone and dont want to sell it.
PLS HELP!!!!
Cheers
have same, any ideas?
looks like a broken screen digitizer. You will have to send it in for repairs probably.
My 9090 also had it and it was 100Euro already only on parts. So didnt took the matter and now have a p3300.
So,
This is the 2nd day i got my device, i had it on my desk at work and didnt do anything with it, than i turned it on and i have this annoying black line from left to right on my screen 1cm above the middle. What a way to celebrate the new year...
Any way i could fix this ? or should i rlly send it RMA (and wait for 3/4 weeks ) ?

i dont have a clue! maybe an application that messed up the device? try using the device without any extra applications for some time and see if the problem appears again.
or try duplicating the problem. i hope its not a hardware problem!

black line across my screen too
i thought i'd post this here, i've the device for 5 months now, and just today suddenly after a soft reset a black line appears across my screen 1mm in thickness, just as roachie has described. and honest to God, i'd rather send it to HTC and get it checked than hard rest and hope it doesn't come back. any thoughts...

My guess is that their first troubleshooting techniques is to hard reset your phone anyways. If hard reset fixes it then why should they spend money out of their own pockets if it's a software problem?
just performed a hard reset, didnt work. i'm taking it to HTC no other choice.
just received my phone back. they changed the LCD MODULE.
and to mu surprise no sound comes out of the ear piece, i can only hear the person i'm calling across the speaker or headphone, so i took it back today, and was promised a new unit in a few days.....
Hello to ya all, greetings and respect
I have a ORANGE SPV M5000 for some 9 months now or so,i bought it new decoded from some other network, and i'm very very happy and satisfied with it and all the software that comes on regular basis for it
But when i bought it one thing i didn't realise at all,i saw it later home but then it was too late. For refund or anything ofc. I got used to it for all this time but anyway i would like to know what it is,would be nice if it's fixable, but i doubt that The thing is : on the screen, there is this red vertical line from top to bottom,in the left half of the screen.it's mostly visible on black backgrounds, not so much on other colors. does anyone maybe know,is the screen ****ed up,or maybe a software mess while decoding the phone ? And if so,is it in any way fixable. At least i would be at peace, knowing why that is. On it it's the original wm5,i never had guts to try upgrade to wm 6. Cuz my fiancee lives in anither country still and i use IM+ over gprs almost 24/7 to be in touch,so i can't risk to lose that lifesaving option.
Thank you all in advance !!

not sure but i guess its a problem with the screen, you should check the cables that connect the screen to the mb, maybe that fixes the problem...

Thank you for your very very fast reply. As soon as i saw it,i opened my PPC carefully and checked there the connector stuff, but with no changes,so at least i know it is not that. Thank you very much again for your quick help
First time opening, but very easy to open the PPC,not tricky at all like it was on my old SE P800,almost breaking it while opening
So i guess, maybe the screen is defected, but it was new and like that from the first day,so maybe the only thing possible is flashing the UNI ? Any ideas still from anyone ?

sorry, never had the problem, but i don't know what else could cause such a fault...
And still
And still after so much time,i have the red line
Nothing changed, only that in the meantime i flashed my UNI,which til posting this the first time i didn't do. I flashed the UNI i think 50 times since then
But still i am curious,if maybe anyone has an idea what that can be and is it fixable.
So I gave my Galaxy S4 to my friend because i couldn`t hear the caller neither the caller could hear me and he said that he could help me.
He hasn`t done sh* and gave my phone back after 2 months and now the screen is doing some werid things, just after the "galaxy s4" logo the screen shows some lines or colored dots ,remainns black, the luminosity increses fast and then it reboots, almost everytime it shows something different.
It`s interesting because the screen works perfectly during the logo,in recovery menu, downloading mode and when i`m charging it.
What should i do?
P.s:sorry for my english
Dead GPU. Recovery doesn't utilize the GPU when performing its functions, which is why it works when on a regular boot you get a green screen. Fixing the problem is going to require a new motherboard. In your situation, I would be suspicious of the "friend" swapping motherboards or the entire device.
So i took it apart,i haven`t seen much inside,i took the motherboard out and put it back together and now the phone boot up and it seems to be working but for how long,it is second time when I kinda fix my phone myself because the service couldn`t do it.
Anyways, thank you for the reply.

same problem here, do you think that heat will fix the problem?
I don`t really know what to say, the problem came back after i charged it
I really think the phone is dead,I must change the motherboard,it might be the only solution.
