I think you guys must be confused...
In my case, when i call someone that is on a call with call waiting activated on my HTC Touch doesn't "say" anything. On my old Nokia it "says" Waiting.
Another think i noticed is when i receive a diverted call on the old phone says "diverted call" and then put a simbol before the number. On my new phone no information about it is displayed.
I know this happens with HTC's... don't know about other brands...
Can anyone know if there is any app that can make the phone "smarter" in this case?

I think if we can get AT Command or anything like that in PPC can find the main code of alert and write a programe to show the messege for call waiting
how to do it? is any programmer here to know this?
tanX and so so sorry for my BAD English

it is very important for me
please help(
Any News? I'm using HTC Diamond! And have a same problem
No news?
This is why you have not rec'd an answer...
Guys,
The reason why this thread will not get answered is because there is a very valid campaign to reduce the number of threads in this forum, especially the ones that have nothing to do with Developing & Hacking or with new developed software.
Too many threads on here makes searching for something specific really difficult. Also there are plenty of people out there who can't be bothered to search and treat this forum as some kind of unpaid Q&A resource.
If you had taken the time to read first you would have found this thread to post your question in...http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=398571.
Try again and see how you get on.

How can I catch an incoming SMS-event of a specified number.

Hello there,
at first: Please excuse my really english, but i will do my best - So here is my question:
How can I catch an incoming SMS-event of a specified number?
My idea: I bought a GPS/GSM system an build it up in my car. If the alarm of my car starts (by shaking, crash a window, what else) i recieve an SMS. No i want to write a litte application that catches that number and starts a loud sound that I will wake up immedeatly.
So, can you help me? I used the "search-button" but I didn't find a word about it... (maybe I used the wrong words for searching)
Best greetings from germany
Henning
PS: My system: XDA Orbit I, Visual Studio 2008, i wrote 2-3 little apps (Hello World, and so on... you know )!
I think rk-sms might be able to help you.

Battery time since charge logger?

Hi guys,
I flashed a new ROM few days back, and I think it eats my battery faster then the previous build. I would greatly appreciate someone to direct me to an battery logger application... I would need it only to log time since last charge and time spent charging, but I'd like to consult the times on the device self, preferably in an UI, not a text file. Does anything like that exist?
I tried searching, and found BattLog, but it logs to a text file, and it logs much more than I need...
<EDIT> I mean something like http://www.freewareppc.com/utilities/batmemtime.shtml but without the today screen plugin, and seperate UI. </EDIT>
Thnx in advance,
Lukas

There is a thread in the themes/apps section on how to do it. Go to system/etc and edit mixer_paths.xml
Thank you sir, but I've been searching since yesterday in this thread and I've found nothing, or maybe I didn't understood that well..; Can you tell me the name of the concerned thread, or maybe can you copy/paste the link here ? thanks a lot.

Thank you for the thread. I've tried it, but since I've replaced the file, 'SoundAlive' stops working, and all things using sounds (mp3 player, notifications) doesn't work anymore.
Edit : My bad, I forgot to change permissions, I think that's ok now, I'll try it when I'll finish my workday, thank you anyway !
So... It figures that for the sound, it works really fine, but when I call someone, this one can hear me, but I can't hear nothing, I've tried multiple combinaison of permission on the file, but it's still the same thing... Any ideas ?
