Does anybody have or know of any software that is similar to PowerSMS? Schedule a txt message, auto txt response for missed calls etc.
Thanks.
lots of there. do a google search
I've come accross a couple of other ones, but I want some opinions.

I am after a small program that will beep every minute when you have unread text messages. This means that when I get a message and I am not within earshot it will be beeping when I am in earshot and I should miss fewer of my girlfriends text messages.
Anyone know of anything that can do this (or how to reconfigure the software already present so it achieves the same result).
PhoneAlarm will do what you need. Their web site is www.pocketmax.net but then again it is not a small program as apart from repeating missed call, unread SMS, MMS and e-mails it has a host of other functions such as profiles. Some also say that it tends to slow down the device. Anyway I am more than satisfied and suggest you give the free trial version a go.
Regards
Cool. Shall give it a whilr when I get time.
Any other options? Maybe free tools or something smaller?
Hello all,
I have a couple of niggles with my HD and I wanted to ask if anyone knows any way to sort them out.
As you know, when you read a text message in TouchFlo HD, you can delete it from there without the need to open the message fully and delete. However, with emails, you cannot do this, you have to navigate to your inbox in order to delete the message.
Is there any way around this?
Also, when you read a text message (SMS) in TouchFlo, after a few seconds, the SMS alert (the little green 1) disappears. However, if you do the same for an email the alert doesn't disappear unless you go to the inbox and open the email there.
Does anyone know a way of making this work in the same way as the SMS inbox in TouchFlo?
Thanks
BUMP!!
Would also be interesting in knowing if a solution to this is available
I thought there might be a way to edit the menu list, but unfornunately, I don't know where to start with it. I've been wanting this for a while.
Maybe this should be in the apps thread also?
Anyone else have any thoughts on this at all?
Maybe I'm just missing something, but this is something that's always drove me nuts with this phone. Is there anyway to add a subject to a SMS or MMS on the HD2?
Apparently I can receive SMS messages with a subject line, but I can't find anyway to add one to ones I send.
Hey guys,
Does anyone know of a way I can set individual text message sounds for people?
It's right there for ringtones but I haven't seen anything for txt msgs.

3rd party app only.
Thanks Angel - Any idea if somebody has something floating around out there?
I searched the forums for a while but didn't find anything specific...
I must agree - I point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. Does anyone know of an app that will do this? I'll add that having a different sound for email notifications based on sender would be fantastic too, but I know that could be a coding nightmare.
SMS Text Ring tones per contact:

Photo Contacts Pro
Thanks Angel!
I've previously used Photo Contacts Pro to do individual text tones on this phone and my previous WM phones. For me it worked, but wasn't as stable as I liked. It eventually eated a lot of memory and crashed then restarted.
Ever since I started linking my Nexus 7 and phone through Tablet SMS, everytime I get a phone call or text message I get the Tablet SMS notification, and also the annoying Talk and Gmail notifications for the calls and texts now which I want to stop because they are flooding my inbox, and for the life of me I cant figure out how, would really appreciate some help on this.

I want to say that's in the settings - SMS Delivery. This bugged me as well and I think that's how I fixed it.
Can't you just create a filter to automatically mark them as read, and move them to a folder?
You likely already found your answer, but I found this thread searching for a solution.
For anyone else out there wondering, if you open the DeskSMS app on the phone, you can simply disable all email/talk push notifications.
