Boot Loader - Touch Cruise ROM Development

I'm driving myself mad trying to get my Polaris into Bootloader. I did it last night to flash udK syrius r0 and thought I'd flash r1 tonight.
Just to check I'm not being a total plonker:
Camera + Power + Stylus into Hole
Let go when tri-colour screen comes up
Right? ;_;

Bleh, this is driving me mad. It just bypasses bootloader and goes straight into booting the OS.

HTC touch frozen on bootup

all i get is the telus boot screen and thats it. is there anyway to flash the rom onto it? or restart it some how?ive tried to take out the battery and restart it that way and still boot screen.
I think you can do a hard reset by holding the "power button", "end key", and pressing the reset "pinhole" at the same time.

have you tried getting into bootloader by pressing power/camera/reset?
when did this start happening?
The same thing happened to me today... Im frozen at the htc smart mobility boot up screen and nothing works!
if your phone was older and you tried to flash a GPS rom without installing the GPS radio then you would freeze up a the bootscreen
the remedy for that would be to install the 3.42 radio ROM

You are in the wrong section altogether. Go to this part of the site http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=631
@OP,
First things first, did you unlock the device before flashing? Also, are you sure that you have a Vogue and not an Elf/Elfin?
A quick way to get out of your issues would be to try to flash the phone back to stock. Put the device in bootloader mode and flash a stock rom for your device.

Stuck on "T-mobile G1" screen

I'm now stuck at the T-mobile G1 screen.
this is the first time this has happened to me.
I was running superD 1.10.2 but wanted to try a hero port.
I tried various hero roms and was stuck on the G1 screen every time
I tried going back to super d but I'm still stuck.
I've wiped between each flash.
It's not fully bricked cause I can still get to the recover screens by pressing home+power to boot and power+camera
When going back to SuperD did you flash the defanged base/Htc Recovery?
I don't know what that is so I don't think I did.
am I supposed to be flashing this in between roms?
I've never done so.

Recently SuperD went legal, and as such it requires the htc recovery to have been flashed before it was. Not sure about your problems with hero roms
In that case, I don't think I need the defanged base/Htc Recovery because I've had the rom downloaded before it went legal.
and also: I've had this problem before with open ecclair. It would never boot.
but I was always able to flash back to super D for some reason.
update.
I tried some other roms,
I got BlueMagic and htc clays remix of csdi to both work.
but I still can't get back to superD
yeah man... for some reason when i tried a hero rom, and tried to go back to super d it didnt work so i just flashed super csdi. but idk what it is either

The blue light is for JTAG, which is basically a bunch of wires you can plug into the inside of your phone to get it working. Problem is, it's hardcore advanced and voids your warranty unreversably. If Camera+Power and Home+Power don't work, you may be out of luck.

Please don't talk about things you don't understand.
Blue light mode is NOT "for jtag". It is for SERIAL CONSOLE -- an interface that can be used for executing RADIO COMMANDS over RS232.
JTAG is used to HACK the blue light mode in order to enable MORE RADIO COMMANDS. Essentially, it escalates the PRIVILEGES of the serial console to the equivalent of ROOT.
Think of it like ROOTING YOUR RADIO.
blue light go red light stop ?!?!
Hi
thanks for all the support !!!
so basicly i am F###T with a big F !! i cant get in to boot loader or any thing with it
so there is no software like ruu tool or htc little back road program i can use with usb cable or any thing

[Q] I cant Join the Bootloader (Tricolor Menu)

Hello HD2 Experts,
yesterday i wanted to reboot my HTC HD2 with Android (SD) on it, and after this it hanging on the HTC logo and cant boot.
It goes only to the MAGLDR but not to the Bootloader ( Tricolor Menu) if i press VOLUME DOWN AND POWER...
I installed via USB FLasher on MAGLDR the Windows 7 Phone and it was working perfectly without problems (Just Wlan/Wifi dont working). After this i tried to install 5 different NAND Android on my HD2 and every of this is hanging on this HTC Logo!!! I am sure that all this 5 were working before this...
My Problems:
1. Cant install (NAND) Android.
2. Cant join to the BOOTLOADER (Tricolor).
3. On WIndows 7 PHone no WLAN working.
I'm done with the nerves!!! Can anybody help me?
Best Regards, Mike
With phone off hold down volume down button and press power button for a couple seconds.

First of all, wrong section to post... should be in Q & A.
Second of all, if above doesn't work, Vol up + down instead of just vol down.

In MAGLDR do the volume buttons allow you to scroll up and down? If not, maybe your volume rocker took a **** on you?
help!
how to recover the phone if the volume rocker is indeed stuck?!
I presume you have a correct radio version.... ? That causes hang at boot.

Without the Bootloader Menu i cant do something! i am clueless! I tried really everything!

There should really be no reason you cant boot into bootloader if your volume buttons are working properly. turn phone completely off for 10 minutes turn phone on then hold volume button down till you boot into bootloader screen. I think you are holding volume button down slightly before your phone is turning on.
No reaction! im again in the MAGDLR menu....
please help! I have the same problem. Volume keys work, but I cant get into tri color bootloader. Nor can I load any nand rom, just stuck on HTC logo! please help me !!!!
Hold down the power and volume down button until bootloader shows up
2.15 radio
2.2miui stock via cwm

OK so after doing a TON of research and having spurts of false hope, I have figured out that the phone is indeed bricked. There is only one person in US that I know who can save it and he uses jtag. Here is his link. Send him a pm describing your situation and he'll help you out. I recommend him!!!

[Q] - Strange boot (fall in water)

My HD2 falls in the water. After a few days he boots again but not completely (see the picture).
It'is just a ROM problem or something is dead in the hardware?
http://www.imagup.com/data/1127591114.html
Thanks for the help
It could just be your battery. I would try that first, if you can find someone with the same battery.
Hum difficult to find someone here in Canada with a htc HD2
However, the battery looks goods

take out the battery, then plug it in the charger, then see if it boots.
If not, it's your mainboard.
it doesn't boot...

Just in case, I was using an android Rom (imilka's Incredible Sense v1.1) with cLK_1.3.3.
And if you try to flash again with task29 and the rest for CLK...
Maybe you can trying a original version...
With this
Good luck

The problem is that I can't go through the bootloader (3 colored lines).
When I start with the up et down volume buttons pushed, the last line of codes on the screen says "fastboot: processing command"

fastboot is a clk thing, you holding down vol down then powering on? should get to the tri-color hspl, then maybe try a stock flash via SD or something?
When I'm holding vol down then powering on it comes to the screen I post on the top.

You're doing something with the up volume, you mean when you start it up holding vol down (before you press power) it still goes to fastboot?
Sorry I made a mistake : When I start it up holding vol down (before I press power) it goes to the screen I post on the firt post.

[Q] have i bricked my hd2

Right been lurking here for a long time, but only now have hit a problem now.
I have the HD2 since it came out and flashed it with the cryomod 2.3.5 droid rom ages ago/
Having a look last night saw the nexushd2 ics cm9 rom and thought I would give it a go.
Everything was going well until it came time to reboot and try the new rom. It switched to the screen with all the text and has stayed like that for the past 24 hours , the last line is saying “fastboot: Processing commands”
I have tried holding down the power button to get back to the clockwork mod screen but with no success, it keeps jumping straight to the fastboot screen.
Have I bricked my hd2 or is there a way to recover it?

Can u boot into the HTC bootloader. Hold down the power and volume down key after turning off your phone. See if it boots into the tri-colour screen? Does it?
yea i can get on to that screen
then you are not bricked u can task29 and do what ever u do..

good. Well the good news is that your phone is not bricked. You can run task29( search it in google or whatever you find good). Task29 will clean wipe your internal memory so that you wont have any OS. u will install MAGLDR next and CWM and your favourite rom. Hope it helps

That's a cLK output, you probably flashed the magldr version of the rom instead of the cLK version perhaps?
Thanks for all the help, its back in the world of the living again , its doing is first boot now
