Pocket informant full screen mode. - Touch Diamond, MDA Compact IV Themes and Apps

Hi!
I'm using Pocket informant 8.1 and I've been struggeling with the full screen mode that won't go off.
In menu/my informant, fullscreen is always checked and at startup it gives me the "warning" message how to click any front key application to turn full screen mode off.
Does anyone know how to permanently disable the full screen mode?
Instruction-pdf say nothing about full screen mode.

Found a working solution.
If someone runs into the same problem here's what I did.
Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\WebIS\PocketInformant and delete "FullScreen".

Thanks!

If you are in fullscreen mode, you may also come back to normal screen by long-press on the answerkey of your phone.

Safe Mode app?

Does anyone know of an app that allows you to go into safe mode??
SPB Pocket Plus does this. It stops apps in the startup folder from loading after 2 failed startup attempts. I'm looking for an app that does this on its own.
You can configure SPB Pocketplus to do this everytime. Go to the PocketPlus options in control panel, click safe mode, and then click options, and there will be a setting to ask if you want to boot into safemode on every soft reset. You will then be prompted to tap the screen and hold to boot into safe mode, or leave untouched to boot into regular mode, on every soft reset.
Hope this helps.

Sorry, I miss spelled a word. I know about SPB Pocket Plus, but the app uses too much memory (about 3MB). Im looking for a stand alone app that does the exact same thing.
Look for MonoCube Safemode

Thanx for the article link. I deff learned a lot more. Would you happen to know if initLauncher works on a HTC Wizard with an AKU: 2.2.0 and ROM: 2.25?

Keylock

I have the Ozone and I absolutely HATE the built in screen locker!
Are there any third party lockers or anyway for me to change the buttons you press to unlock?
Thanks.

I feel your pain. I had S2U2 working almost perfectly on the Ozone, but reminders (Outlook Calendar sync) did not work correctly. The reminder chime would start then end abruptly and I'd never see the onscreen reminder. Only way for me to dismiss my reminder was to disable S2U2 and wait for the next reminder to pop up. Calendar and E-mail are my two must haves on the phone so I had no choice but to uninstall it. Bummer really.
Ironically, was was looking around tonight for an alternative and ran across this post. If I find anything that works, I'll let you know. But if you don't really care about reminders, I highly recommend S2U2.
It is for touch screen only, but use mymobiler (our mouse emulator) to configure. Then you are good to go. Be sure to disable advanced power options.

How would a slide to unlocker help me on the Ozone?
It's not touch screen.

I use Maniac's Auto Keylock. Has functionality for profiles, notifications, screen saver, etc. Great app. Here's the link (slow site):

Did you read my whole post? I said it worked on the Ozone except for the reminders. You are obviously not going to be able to use the touch screen. That's why you have to use MyMobiler to configure.
Just use D-Pad right to unlock.

Automatic Key lock is certainly not as aesthetic as S2U2, but it works! Perhaps this is not supported, but I can not find the option to password lock the device.

Sure, in Keylock setup, use "device lock".
I hate having to press the center button then the star.
Is there anyway for me to change those keys to the center button then the space bar?
That would be so much better!

It's still annoying.
Noone know the registry edit?

weirdness on the slide lock

Greetings all.. After installing the Dusk theme, my phone no longer automatically locks when the screen times out. I have to hit the lock button. Any thoughts on this??
The stock lock feature is a part of TF3D. If you're not running TF3D as your Today screen the lock timeout won't function.

I do like S2U2...I've had it on several of my devices but the Imagio is such a memory hog as it is I think S2U2 just adds a bit more bulk than I would prefer. I also tried speedbooster to help but that caused more problems so I had to uninstall.
Other then the text message tap option not working the device runs pretty well...a little sluggish at times but nothing a clean ram won't fix. Just wish I could find a way to fix it!

This cab will disable the stock lock screen, just install and reboot...

Use multimedia button to force screen rotation?

Is there a program that will do what the title of the thread suggests? That is, I want to be able to force whatever screen is currently displayed to rotate to landscape when I press the multimedia button. I do not want any auto-rotation. I want to be able to completely control when the screen rotates.
You can do it under the buttons menu in settings
I have mine set as 'Okay'

I'm sorry but I don't see that option. When I select Buttons -- Multimedia Key it only allows me to assign a program to opne or some simple commands such as <OK/Close>, <Context Menu>, <Scroll> etc.

Help with auto-rotation

Hi, I have a stock TP2 running SPB Mobile Shell.
Shell responds to the device when it's tilted which screws up the screen layout - I'm guessing Shell isn't deigned to be rotated.
So I want a way to have shell not rotate. I've tried Gyrator but I can't seem to understand what kind of rule to setup and have tried many that don't work.
Basically, HELP!
I just don't want the screen to rotate when on any of the SPB Mobile Shell home screens. Any help would be appreciated
Pete
What about a manual rotate app? try this one...
http://rapidshare.com/files/363032589/Rotate_Left_Button.CAB
It makes your left home soft button into the rotate button but it also gives you an app that rotates the screen when you press it.

Thanks for this. Unfortunately Mobile Shell removes the bottom soft buttons so I'm not sure this app would work with it

If you turn TF3D/Sense back on, on the settings tab there's g-sensor settings, and clicking that presents you with a switch to disable the g-sensor, at least on my phone it's there (an option I don't find in regular WM settings).
I just checked, and that setting is also available in both the Rhodium/HD Settings Tool, and HD Tweak...but I couldn't find it in Total Commander (just a polling interval).

There is also an app... look in your start menu. Place that icon on your shell homescreen and there you go... probably not the fix your looking for but maybe temporary.
