Hi,
Xperia's price has been confirmed!!!
http://www.tracyandmatt.co.uk/blogs/index.php/2008/10/03/sony-ericsson-xperia-x1-andash-release-d-1
Price at Clove is: £515.83 = $715 - 750.
Best Regards.
quite cheap, mind u that Touch Pro is around USD 945 here
I heard some rumors the with contract in UK it might go as low as 299. So if T-mobile us picks this up (*prays*) it should only be around $399-499.

Eeerrghhh, I really doubt it... I'll be crossing my fingers for you, but I don't see any US carrier taking this subsidized.
I was just in an ATT store this morning.. and the guy told me they had a conference meeting... in that meeting this information was passed on: Xperia phone will not be one added as subsidized phone.. however they will sell it.. at a date undisclosed.. but it will be full unlocked price they say. so im assuming 800-900 is what we're looking at.

I'm a bit skeptical. Like the links shows anywhere between October 2008 in Germany and March 2009 for the rest of the world.
See link: /2008/09/03/
The link address says it all.
Just being frustrated and living in Australia.

Sigh... was hoping today's announcement by SE would have something about the X1, but apparently not...
Sony Ericsson announces launch dates for Xperia(TM) X1
Too bad I don't live in UK, Germany, or Sweden.
oh, that would be perfect!

The only thing still bugging me is
Xperia X1's price is still not known, so it seems that users who are impatiently awaiting for this detail will have to wait a bit longer.

Amazon.de lists it for 700 Euro.
I think that is plausible.
about the same prices here
without a contract of cause
same with iphone 3g and other
og the fancy phones without a contract
Probably gonna be a little higher here due to not being released in my country, yet
Well, that's what internet shopping is for

Today Amazon lowered the price for the Xperia X1 to 639,- EUR - that's pretty much the same price as for the HTC Touch Pro.
Great!

That's awesome!
I hope that it really does cost that much and that SE doesnt come up with another official price.
Too bad amazon doesnt ship electronics in the EU.
that's a good bit of money that's comes out to around 910 US Dollars
think I'm goin to wait for a while and see how the unbasis reviews look when it comes out
UPDATE... MISTAKE: It is 0.5% cashback not 5%. Sorry all!
That would bring it to £497.49
Play.com price: £499.99
Quidco Cashback: 5% (https://www.quidco.com)
Total cost: £474.99
I think that is the cheapest price in the UK. Play.com only ship mobiles to UK only though.
Very tempting.
Thanks for the link -I already ordered from Clove though - they say stock will be coming in 4th Nov.......but I might order from Play if the dates change - that's a good price!

Yes, I just call them, they reply me that, they will have the HD in stock by next week and it realy cheaper than Expansys, you can even pick it from the shop at Tottenham Court Road, I am going for it. thanks
I am tempted to go down there next week to get it.
Wow! That's a great price. Is there a catch. I a London based too. Shall we all meet up and go there together to Tottenha Court Road? BTW, Uk guys, I am on 3 network. I should be able to use my USIM in the HD right?
When is it coming out at best digital market? I am tempted but I am afraid that I will have problems with my T-Mobile sim and the phone.

I've used Handtec a couple of times. On both occasions I had no problems, with quick delivery on stock items. They do seem to slightly undercut many other suppliers. They are shown as an official supplier by HTC.

Play appear to have updated their price now - to £519.99 ...
Man why can't these companies stick to one price? Why are the constantly going up and down?

you belong banned for posting that in almost every topic. at least be a man and state that it is you who is selling Touch HD on ebay.
by the way, to start bidding at 500GBP (+ 25 GBP shipping) is a rip off, dude.
According to the new CPW catalogue it's £499.99 from them.
Expansys have recently dropped their 8GB SIM Free price by £50 to GBP199.99
Admittedly not as good as the Dell Swarm 16GB £179.50 sell-out,
http://www.dellswarm.com/uk/swarm/pastswarm
but may be a sign that other retailers may follow suit?
I was tempted at the £250 price drop.
This is really tempting me. I wish it was more powerful though Its now last gen hardware

Then it wouldn't be under £200
And how powerful do you need? Never see any lag (nor had a single freeze or crash) on my v1 LG.
Might be an idea to vote and keep an eye on the Dell Swarm though - seems to be a regular thing (4 since July) but you have to be quick to get one.
do the US bands work for you?
getting them from dell directly in the USA is cheaper than 200 pounds. (190.. hrmm.. don't have pound on my keyboard)

Doubtful. You are almost certainly on 2100MHz, which is covered by both the AT&T and T-Mobile US DVP quite nicely.
The TMOUS version also has 900MHz support, making it a better bet for world-wide use than the AT&T version.
This post is dedicated to giving you a price comparison of all the different places where you can get the xperia Z.

I think I'll get this beauty for the... next Christmas. I hope the price will drop a bit, considering the bigger prices here in Romania. I think it will be around €670-€690 at the release.

Unless I get lucky in the next two weeks I'll be getting mine from here: http://www.smartphoneshop.be/product/272748/sony-xperia-z.html
I did pre-order as one of the first people, and because of that I got my pre-order at €629.
I hope when other phones will come out later (with the same caliber) prizes will be lower! I want to change my Arc to this!

No. It doesn't support AWS and it doesn't support Band IV LTE. The ZL will at least to the LTE side of things. With T-Mobile you have to be pretty careful as their network is quite different to most.

Sony Mobile Korea is not releasing any news about Xperia Z.
I have emailed them but they say " We cannot tell anything about it because it is not release " everytime...
Considering to buy my phone from internet. Can you please suggest me a trustable site with international delievery? Thanks
Hope the price to drop on April because my contact with my carrier ends on April
NTT DoCoMo has officially released pricing for the Sony Xperia Z (SO-02E), due to launch in Japan on 9 February 2013. The price looks equivalent to that mooted in other parts of the world, coming in at 77,280 Yen (£545, €645, $860). Guys what do you think abot the price? Are they nominal or steep given the specs??!!

Well said, i think its gonna blow up a deep hole in our pocket for sure. Whatever Sony does perfect, they seem to mess up and lose out in the pricing factor (as they did in SL, Xperia ion, arc S) and such. They ll eventually take months to revise the price too, where in that mean time others may catch up!
It's been announced at $749 in australia (basically $750 US)... australia normally gets pretty bad pricing on phones, so there's hope it might not be too bad for the rest of the world.

im from sydney and i spoke to the company thats offering the handset for $749 but they said thats obviously subject to change and that i might be condiderably cheaper than that i remember paying $520 for the xperia s when it first was released in oz so going by that why would it be that much more expensive i doubt it would be more than $700

Japanese list prices are meaningless because they are 100% subsidy phones.
Only available through the carrier, and even if you outright purchase the handset (vs installment plan) you get a large immediate subsidy kickback.
Yes, one way or the other, they ll bump up the price!

You don't need to post a new thread every time a price is released as there's a thread about prices already here.
