Disable button - Wing, P4350 General

Hey everyone. Is there anyway to disable the upper left button on the QWERTY pad (above the R and T) I always hit it when texting and end up sending incomplete/blank messages! It's really annoying. Anyway to fix this? Thanks!

slide out keyboard not working?

hey im having a problem now with the slide out keyboard not working. some buttons will work but it will not input to an email if im writing text. Only buttons that work are caps button and others like that. any suggestions. also if i hit email button the screen alignment screen comes up... at a loss here any suggestions would be great
There is a shortcut to the screen alignment via email + d-pad button. I'd check that the latter isn't sticking.
Good luck

Maybe you may have pressed the blue function key button which changes the backspace to the left to delete to the right. I think a double press causes it to stay on so you can type a string of numbers. Just press the blue button once more and it should revert to a backspace key.

Hi thanks for a quick reply, i hope it was somthing silly like that which i was doing, its happend like 3 times, so i will wait and see next time it happens, thanks again for your reply i hope this is the "problem"
thanks
Mine has done this a few times, the backspace starts actign liek the Fn key is pressed, so it acts as Del.
Hitting Fn, pressing backspace twice always fixes it for me.
Had this as well the first time. And it looked to me as occasionally the Fn key stays on without having it used.
About the Fn key: Press it once and you use it once, press the Fn key twice and you can keep using it (somewhat like the "Num Lock" on your computer)
Thanks for all your help guys, im sure this was the problem for me,

[Q] CM 7.0.2.1-Phys KB Issues?

Is anyone else experiencing the following two issues with the physical kb:
1) Start to compose a text or email for example
2) Slide open the physical keyboard and want to use a "symbol" character
3) So -- press FN then Spacebar
Result - no window pops open with the symbol characters like it should
Strangely enough - with no texting or email app open -- just from the home screen for example -- sliding open the physical keyboard and pressing FN then spacebar -- the window with the special characters does pop open
Second question -- anyone else noticing that after a single press of FN or caps-on keys, their lights (at top of physical kb) each remain on after having then pressed an alpha key?
Thanks --
Do you use swift key? Sounds like your problem to me.
Sent from my PG06100 using XDA App
Yep -- that was it. I uninstalled swift key - and problem is solved. A shame that the app interferes with CM 7 in that way -- I kind of got used to swiftkey
I really appreciate your help --

[Q] Pressing the "Enter" Key to send instead of taping the screen.

Hi Guys, I have a question. Is there anyway I can send SMS w/ the right arrow key instead of taping send icon on the screen?
This is no way

[Q] Disable Buttons

Hi all
I am wondering about something. Is There a way to disable the onscreen buttons, when the keyboard is open? But now can the main question is can the back button be left enabled so you can close the keyboard. I find that I am constantly hitting the home button when using the keyboard, and would love to have that disabled while the keyboard is open.
Thanks to any help.
Regards
Roars
