Can't delete Yahoo messages? - Wing, P4350 General

Stock phone (T-Mobile), for some reason last week, when I get my Yahoo mail on my phone, I cannot delete the messages any longer. I've tried a couple of different methods but to no avail. I can still delete SMS messages though.
Anybody else run into this?
Thanks in advance-
Tom

Cant get rid of 'ActiveSync' email's in 'Outlook Email' fold

Hi,
after getting my XDAIIi back from having the screen replaced I had to restore my last backup.
I now have two old email's in the inbox of the Outlook Email account in the messaging application which were obviously unread messages when that backup was created via ActiveSync.
Any ideas how I can get rid of them? I can click and highlight them but even though the option to delete the message(s) is shown when I choose 'delete' or 'move' nothing happens to the message.
Many thanks
i have a similar problem, the emails can't be read, deleted, or moved, and it has nothing to do with restoring (as the only restoring i've done was part of Sin's ROM build process for WM2003SE on the XDAII).
these emails that are unmoveable/readable/deletable i used to be able to read, like a couple of days ago i could.
before i recently hard reset the device, i had the same problem with some sms's in my sms inbox and sent folder.
very strange and annoying, as a hard reset appears to be the only way to get rid of them.

Messages get lost after send/receive for a 2nd time

I have a problem with my messages folders (at my XDA o2 Exec).
First I have the sms folder. this one works fine. then I have the hotmail one. this one works fine, too. then I have created a new one for gmail. Usually it is like that: I send/receive, then the Exec downloads say 3 messages. When I press send/receive the next time, after syncronizing, the old messages are gone. sometimes, however, they remain in the folder, but I couldnt find out for what reason.
The same applies to my exchange server. Everytime it syncs, the old messages which have been there before are gone afterwards.
Whats going on there??? Anyone having the same issues?
thanks for your help

Unread email counter (1.48.707.2 71294 WWE)

I tried searching this forum but could not find any reference to my problem.
I have configured my device to link with our corporate exchange server. I know that I have read all the messages, but I still get the green bubble with number 1 in it. I have tried using the "MarkAllMessagesRead.cab", but no luck. I know there is no unread message.
This persists even after a soft reset.
Anyone has a similar issue and/or a fix?
I have the same problem! Hope it can be fixed.
The problem started after I flashed the new 1.48 ROM.
You don't have any sub folders that gets emails moved into it by a rule automaticaly do you? Some AV solutions do this and have a seperate folder for SPAM etc.
Well, I have managed to solve the probelem, though the method would not have been my first choice.
I deleted the exchange account on my HD2 and recreated it. It is ok ........for now.
I am an avid flasher of ROMS (flashing my HD every alternate days) and never had this problem on any version of windows mobile.
Anyway, all's well.
Same problem
Hi.
I have the same problem.
I have try`d deleted my gmail account, my exchange accounts and my hotmail account.
Problem is that I can`t delete the hotmail account. It is not "highlighted" in the meny where I can delete accounts. Gmail is no problem to delete.
Anyway, I set up the gmail and exchange accounts with home computer and google calender again after I failed to delete the hotmail account, and suddently I have 2 unread email in the sense menu! WTF? It is very annoying because I belive it is causing the sound notification when email arrives to crash. It is no sound when new email arrives.
Hope somebody can help! All this started after I flashed the 1.48 ROM
Sorry for the crappy english!
i also have the same problem, i have a green ball with a one in it on the email envelope on the taskbar , ive tried deleting all my email accounts but it remains ! ? any ideas ?? please !!
ok, im officially an idiot !! it turns out there was some kind of read receipt in the default outlook folder, no idea how it got there and as i dont use outlook didnt check.................................im an IDIOT !
i have the same issue, i have removed all the email accounts, but the counter still shows 1...

Cant read my Gmail inbox from my Hd2.

ANyone know how to fix my litle problem?
I got my Gmail acc. and on Pc i can read all mails and seee all folders, but when i connect to gmail on my HD2 it seems it cant recive my inbox mails. I can send a mail and get it on my Hd2, but cant read my old mails that already are in my inbox on my Gmail.
Anyone know if it is maybe some thing i have forgot to do, to let HD2 download all mails even old ones in inbox?
Has it been setup as IMAP or POP?

glad its working.
Hey guys,
I have similar problem.
My HD2 can sync with my Gmail's inbox fine, it's grabbing new emails now problem. I have then gone into manage folders and instructed it to sync with a couple more folders, with the setting of grabbing all email messages (date = all & text only).
At first it appears to be doing what I wanted but it stopped soon after, I went into the mail folders on my HD2 and it only sync'ed 30 most recent emails or so, but not the full lot.
Does it take a few sync attempts to get the full mail folder or something is not right?
hey,
i had the same problem on my HD2 aswell on my experia, dont know why but when i accidentally disabled vodafona's proxy all my emails came in, so i tried it on the HD2 and it also worked
As a side question, have set my gmail to google sync with HD2's exchange account. However, when sending out email, there isn't any copy left in the Sent Items folder, even though in the settings I have already ticked the "Save a copy in Sent folder"...any idea why?

mail not syncing perfectly

Hi there,
I got a little problem with the mail app. Receiving and deleting works but when I read a mail on my phone, this doesnt get synced back and it stays as unread in my hotmail inbox. This is rather annoing as it means I will still have to log in to hotmail to get rid of it. This worked fine on my WM phone so it should also work on android?
Does somebody know how I can fix this?
