Artemis HTC P3300 ITA EXT ROM is here!!!

I've only one problem.. I can't insert this in my O2 orbit because my storage (unhide) it's locked in write.. Nayone know any method to unlock this (I've read and try all method (regisrty or total commander method, format flash etc..) but not worked for me..

Why this archive hasn't been moved into extrom directory yet? It's been difficult find this extrom after deleting it from my p3300.

Where did the error come from? This rom is for HTC' device only!!! When you have a Dopod or other device, you could not flash this rom on it.
I have flashed it on my P4350 perfectly!

My device is HTC P4350 ( but keyboard is german - may be could not up WWE?) the error: "Invalid Vendor ID", have to cost 38$ to unlock?

German rom or WWE-rom is not the issue when the rom is for HTC! There is no need to pay any cent when upgrading your device with a new HTC rom. Have you ever flashed any device? Please recheck your PC, is there NET CF2.0 installed?

German devices are also locked and you get "INVALID Vendor ID" when trying to flash any different rom.
For my P4350 from Germany, only the equivalent rom works - Unfortunately there is none by now.
What has NETCF to do with that process ? Maybe i am wrong but you can also flash a new rom out of the bootloader promt, and then no software on the device can make a difference.

Extracly I have Framework 2.0 ( not Compact Framework - only for smart devices), and could not up ROM HTC WWE. May be only up German ROM?

Based on my experience with my HTC P4350, at the begining it had a German rom then I flashed the version 1.18... (I dont remember the exact number). That's it! Now it has the newest version 5.4.405 and runs perfectly!
I do think it should be something wrong with your rom upgrading process.

My PDA is HTC p4350 ( but with keyboad azerty). I have try one time and it's does not work. Now i can't enter bootloader T___T. Any body can help me. Thanks avanced.

Sorry, i'm so bad in english. But when i run the file for upgrade, it does not run, and after, i can't enter bootloader.

Spanish would be better - french is too long a go. Sorry.
Bootloader = camerabutton + commanager butto --> hold - tap reset button --> and hold camera and comm as long as bootscreen comes. DO NOT loose cammera+comm!!!!
Then when gree, red, blue = bootloader.

YOu have to change some registry settings. the english keyboard is 0409, the german 0407 for example. Don´t know exactly where all the local values are listed.
Try to use the search for keyboardlayout or keyboardchange.
It might be in another subforum - because it is equal to many devices.

I don't understand something.
You said that if you push camerabutton + commanager, and holding(or pressing I think, cause if I hold it.. it doesn't do nothing) I will see the bootloader?
If I do that, I don't see the bootloader, I only see it if I push camera only.
Creo que entiendes el español. Si pulso el boton de camara + commanager(el de arriba del marcado rapido), y mantengo el reset, deberia arrancar el bootloader, pero en mi PDA, si hago esto, no hace nada. Solo aparece el bootloader si mantengo la camara y enciendo.

Boot Issue (no Bootloop, or almost none)

So here's my problem! I had some issues with my herald, it worked fine for like a month or 2. Yesterday, i couldn't see my icons, so i soft booted it. Now bootloops when the SD is in, and gets stuck on the Windows Mobile screen when the SD card isn't inserted... I tried to hardboot but it has no sence since i'm not even able to boot correctly...
Bootloader shows:
IPL 4.17.0001
SPL 4.17.0000
I've got an HTC HERALD
Rom: French Windows Mobile 6
No overclockin nor modding, except of the modded 5tab Homescreen.
Is my Herald bricked? If so, please help me to unbrick it...

Sounds like you need to install the official RUU for your phone. Go on your carrier's website and see if you can download it.
If not, you can try to install one of the ones on the Herald WIKI and see if that works.

am ajuns la conluzia ca cel mai bun rom e ala cu care vine telefonul din fabrica.am instalat wm5 original htc si merge telefonul super in comparatie cu orice wm6 care l-am incercat de la diferiti cookeri.
daca ai vreo sugestie in legatura cu ce rom ar trebui sa incerc e bine venita.

I can not recommend any ROM to you, it would be against my principle - flaming noobs asking about "which ROM?", "what ROM version?" and so on.
I can only tell you that fastest ROMs are the ones based on WM6.1.
The rest is up to your needs.

He was not mocking, it's just a saying, I was trying to show you "the way". But hey, it's a free world, everyone is entitled to their opinions, I know I have tried all WWE ROMs from WM5 to WM6.1. Have you?

i did not tryed all off them.i trayed 15 and none of them was good.
i tested various apss on wm5 and wm6 and i did not see ani diference in the performance off the apss.now i wana try the official wm6 from dobod to see how is it.
the batery consumtion in wm5 is much lower than in wm6,probapli because it uses less ram.
maybee i do no how tu configure it.

Even with radio upgrades it stops automatically saying that

The image file is corrupted please check your update utility....

Finally I got it.
For those who have not yet managed to do the following:
1 USPL;
2 when finishing the USPL, let the screen stay in black / white and wait a while to restart the PDA. Is not seen, but the PDA is connected;
3 without touching the PDA or disconnect the USB cable, run your favorite ROM.

Finalmente já consegui.
Para quem ainda não conseguiu tem de fazer o seguinte:
1º USPL;
2º quando acabar o USPL, deixar que o ecra fique em preto/branco e aguardar um tempo que o PDA reinicie. Não se vê, mas o PDA está ligado;
3º sem tocar no PDA nem desligar o cabo USB, correr a vossa ROM preferida.
