manila 2d and today

I love manila2d but i also like to have many apps in today as gprs counter etc
since it is not possible to have them on manila 2d....
would it be possible to launch manila as the cube? would like to choose between those two ways ..maybe it would be too slow
is it possible?

it would be ok even a second today that starts when you push a key and quit when you push it again.
I tried second today but it seems to don't work

Im useing Spb Diary + Plus and mToday to switch betwin M2D and Spb

could you please post some screenshots of who that works? as i understand you have mToday1: SPB Diary and Spb pocket+ and mToday2: manila 2D? that seems quite a combination does it work fast and smooth? thx!

Yeah it does work smooth but at this time i have just tryede Itje Opal skin ,and i have come to the conclusion that im going back to Udk = R0
ill post some sceens when i have bootede again and agáin whit R0.
The best i have tryede to date.

Configuration homescreen
Is it possible configure today? I´d like to see more than only one appointment. I dont need to view the call history. So the best will be to cut call history and extend the calenar view...

I have secondtoday running:
1. TFlo 2d
2. Spd Diary
and this works very good.

It is posibility, but my idea is to see calendar in manilla today (it is so nice...). Calendar in default view is not so useful.

Yes, the same for me.
And when I push the calendar-button in the mainscreen, I open my second today which shows me SPB-diary!!
Download VJBrisk [http://www.vijay555.com/?Releases:VJBrisk]
1. Rename vjbrisk.exe to Calendar.exe
2. Make a link to you secondtoday
3. Name the link VJTarget.lnk
4. Copy the new Calendar.exe and VJTarget.lnk to your Cruise in de \windows map

Thank you so much. But I dont need any calendar application - Im satisfied with the default one. Only I want to see 2 (or more) upcoming appointmens (in main home screen - manilla 2D. So my idea was to edit probably HTCHomeSettings.xml file. As i told: remove call history, it will make more space for calendar appointment. May be use smaller font if it will be necessary for view 2 (at least) appointments.

second today

i have installed secondtoday.
First Today screen: TF2
Second Today screen: SPB Diary + the ''launching TouchFLO...'' which always stays like that. Am I doing something wrong here? I only want to see the SPB Diary program on my second today screen.
Please advise!

in the options of secondtoday just check spb diary. Do NOT check TF2d.
TF2d has to be enabled only in general today settings

TouchFlo buttons

Can anyone explain me how to customize TouchFlo buttons in my Jade? With Advanced Config Tool this operation is impossible. It's appear some error when I try to enter in TouchFlo3d menu

I do not think new tabs can be added to TF2D. However tabs can be disabled and position changed using M2DC by Mpenguin 14.

TouchFlo Question and others

Hi,
I've installed Touch Flo 2D Manila2D_1.00_1819.2926-xplode.CAB on top of Sundreams ROM.
This ROM rocks and it very fast on my BA with apps installed. OCed the BA using XCPUScalar.
However I've got a problem with the adding Programs shortcuts in TouchFlo (launcher tab). After selecting the program, the form closes and no program is added to the shortcut. The + remains a +. Anyone experienced this problem?. Is there a way to add the shortcuts manually in a configuration file?.
Also where can I configure TouchFlo settings?
Also the front screen calendar is too basic for my taste. I used SPB diary. How can I use a more advanced calendar with TouchFlo (shows 5 days or more)?.

make sure you installed all the Xplode CABS before the manila to have it working

To which cabs are you actually refering to?. Am I missing something?.
Well as regards to the launcher, I have added the applications manually via registry
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\Manila2D\Launcher, however the application do not run when clicked on. Icons appear as a 'blank icon' rather than '+'

As far as the calendar, no one seems to have been able to use a different calendar as of yet. Having said that, there is one alternative that I am using right now (with which I am pretty happy). There is a program in the Dev and Hacking section that is called Manila Control

This will allow you to switch back and forth between Manila and Today (just set up an Up-Down gesture with FTouchFlo Config). You can then put any Today plugin that you want (ie SPB Calendar) and just switch to it when you need to see your calendar. Hope this helps you on that end.

These are the ones that I have on my device and I have not had any issues with speed or anything like that. Hope this helps!

Thanks for feedback. I have managed to find a workaround via registry. I did'nt add the "uptime" key before. Once added the icons are functional and show up.

Manilla 2D and TF3D

I am currently using WAD2.0 and very happy with it...
Just wondering what is Manilla 2D and what is TF3D - these are apparently "all the rage" and just wondering what I am missing??
can someone explain in basics what each of these are?
are they just skins to appear like the Diamond?

no they are not skins they are the 'new' htc home apps from the diamond (tf3d) and the jade (manilla 2d). You can't run tf3d on your vogue so don't bother, I've been running manilla 2d for quite a while and I really like the ease and flow of the interface. the best was to put it on your vogue is with a new rom that includes it, however you can also install it using the downloads from the thread in the dev/hacking forum.
Try it, you'll probably like it.

thanks ; when you say "home apps" do you mean that manila replaces the Today screen.

if you get a rom with it already included you can install manilla controll and switch back to a second today screen using a softkey.

Manilla 2.5 Landscape + extra

Hi,
I'm running on SUN-Y RC1.
Love this rom and works great. The main problem is that I can't go into Landscape mode while in manilla (2.5). It'll only work on the music and photo tab.
Really love to have a solution for this.
And some less important stuff:
Contact tab: I'd like 1 photo with BOTH SMS and Phone button.
Internet access: Best way to ONLY access internet via WiFi?

It still has the flip trough system that I hate.
Also, no twitter. And the manilla photo tab won't have landscape mode like Sun Y.
