When flashing I read I have to erase the contents does that include the program files?
Everything on SD. There can be only one file there - ROM file.
It says not enough space when its only 50 MB but the card has 1 GB. plus I can't extract it from WinRar because WinRar can't detect the HTC.

how can i install .nbh file as a rom in my phone
Make sure that you unlock your device before trying anything.
You don't simply install a nbh file to the phone. You need the RUU that is designed for this particular device. Once you have that, put the nbh file in the same folder as the RUU and run the RUU (follow the steps). There should be a guide for upgrading this device floating around here somewhere, you should look for it and follow it to avoid damaging your device.
Good luck!
I have .nbh file for HTC and i only save it to memory card.

If you want to install/flash rom via usb activesync so you have to move these files nbh to a folder on your computer and use CustomRUU to run installation
or you can flash via SD Card (you must have HARDSPL your phone) :
- The SD card has been formatted in FAT 32
- rename yours file nbh to NIKEIMG.NBH
- copy the nbh file to your SD card
- Insert the SD card to the phone, restart your phone to bootloader and press start to begining
I get this error when restoring my backed up img file of my microSD cardd.
I only have one SanDisk 8 GB class 6 microSD card. I backed it up to an image using Roadkil.
Wrote ClockWorkMod to it to install multi-touch and USB host support. After that, I used Easeus to delete the 128 MB partition (from burning CWM) to get back the whole capacity. Somehow Easeus leaves around 7 MB of it unallocated. I also tried Windows Disk Management to delete, allocate and format the partition.
Is there a way to resize an img file? I think the problem is due to the formatted capacity being some bytes smaller than the backed up img file. It writes up to 99.5% then gives me that error.
When you are "restoring" your backed up image to the SD card
you are using Win32DiskImager or something and not copying an .img file?
When you write an image to a disk it doesn't care about existing partitioning.
You only have to care about partitioning when you want to use your SD card for normal use again.
Hmm it worked without a hitch using Win32DiskImager. I tried so many times to write the img file to the microSD card using Roadkil.
I am new to miui rom, always using stock or custom android roms.
I am using it for now as cant see a rom I like the look of but having trouble with the way it uses the storage.
I have an SD card but it appears to see the internal and SD as one whole storage location - is that true?
I download files and the inbuilt file navigator is a pain, but the storage location is internal, but i cant copy to this or from this on my PC. i have to use ES file explorer to copy the files from internal to a location on SD (as it shows as separate storage in this app) and then i can copy from // to the SD card..
how do i amend this? i just want to download and copy to PC if needed with ease.. (when i tried making the download location on the sd card the files never actually saved, after the download completed i checked the location but the file was not there).
I have the s6 lite tab, has a 64 gb memory card added as well, If I download a folder and it comes from the web as a zip file I can save that to the sd card, however I wannt to save a file in the zip folder to the card.
When I open the folder and see the files and select one with the check button it will not allow me to save the individual file to the card,,, is this normal please
thanks
