Ok guys I have a certain issue that wasn't really an issue until I switched from Cingular Blue (AT&T) to Cingular. Before when I was with Cingular blue and I received an MMS with lets say a picture attachment of 32k. I would downloaded the full size pic with no problems.
Now with cingular If i have the same scenario when I download the MMS pic the file shrinks to 4-10k basically the picture downloads but now its small and I dont get to enjoy it in my big screen . I have set all the settings from cingular and this was happening with my Imate Jamin and was hoping it would have gone away with my new Tytn but the problem still persists. Any suggestions??
Does anyone have the MMS CAB from cingular rom? maybe theres a setting there that I dont have on my tytn

I had the same issue when I bulldozed my Wizard and didn't do any of the customizing CAB's. Probably the same issue with the TyTN.
I have a custom CAB file I made with the reg tweaks for the Wizard. I'll post the keys if you want them.
Also, not familiar with the TyTN as far as what carriers are carrying it: is Cingular one of them?

The CAB I've attached has the Cingular MMS settings I extracted from several Cingular extended ROM CAB's.

I put them on my Tytn and the MMS fuction works perfectly by downloading the full size of the message but I have found on my unit it for some reason gets rid of some fucntions in on the Camera. It gets rid of my flash completly. I've hard reset it 5 times making sure its the CAB files and it for is. If theres anything suggestions im open.

same issue here...
is there any way (registry modification?!?) to get the camera flash back?
I think theres an option under the MMS account settings to download the original size file from the server.
Not able to find this littel fella, not in HTCICON.dll not in shellres.dll Anyone know where its hiding? The one in HTCICON.dll does not look like the one I am using out of the box so changing that wount help me. If you got a good tip or a workaround for changing the Today icon on start meny I would be wery intrested to hear about it, cant complete my icon set before I find this last fella.

I ask you because after install LEOALBUM i can't see Videos on my phone...
The Album crashed...
Well I installed it last night but it broke my Album. While in TF3D, the pictures scroll very slowly and when you open a picture up you can't get the menu portion and the pictures won't scroll at all.

it has to do with policy 101a in the reg, i think. just search for it you sholuld be able to find a cab somewhere but since others are having problems i would not install it unless your ready to do a hard reset.

You need to have Internet Sharing in the ROM in order for this to work...
Router - Error
When attempting to open the Comm Manager after installing this Wifi Router App, I get the message "Comm Manger doesn't support 'MobileWifiRouter.'"
I had this on my TP, and it came in very handy, would love to get this on my TP2.

Hi, i am using Sprint TP2. been searching for this app for a while. The tom codon didn't work. But i this one is worknig for me. After installing you'll find new folder called "COMMUNICATION" under start menu. this app placed under this folder.

Hey - I found one that was supposed to be for the HD2. On my ROM, it was showing settings for a Touch Pro2, so I'm not sure if this is the same as other ROMs out there:

Thanks T69 for finding this, it was driving me crazy, it works. I dont know how to make a cab but i did make a reg file for ppl that wants it, just import it with a reg editor and it should works. Not restart needed.
Thanks I have been plagued with tiny pics since November I thought it was just TMOUS because my Xperia X1 did the same thing. Now I don't think I even need to upgrade to the TMOUS branded phone.

No windows, you would need to go into HKLM\Software\Arcsoft and change it from there

The phone has been attempting to send photos whos file size is too large for mms, yesterday it tried a 1.6 meg picture. Shouldnt it try to automatically resize before sending, or prompt me that its too big? Anyone having the same problem?
HD2 on stock rom.

When Flashing a custom rom the registry gets all messed up and when you receive a pic it downsizes it to like 4k super small on the huge screen.

I had the stock rom for a couple of days and when I tried to send pictures it asked me to downsize. Never had that problem
I'm having a problem with picture MMS, but it's not too small. The problem I'm having is that a picture message will for some reason play as a 10 second video. It's not really a major issue, just annoying to see when I open up the message. Also, I'm seeing that it the file reads 253KB/1024KB. Does that mean that it didn't download completely or what? When I open the mms, I can save the image as a jpg, and it displays fine in my album. Is this happening to anyone else with Tmo US HD2?

Hey everybody, I just cant seem to get my head around this, could someone please help me out
Im trying to make WM SMS the default SMS client in my Leo Rom (Like NRGZ28 does)
I tried the cab by zenkinz:

And it works great but I cant seem to cook it in.
I used an CAB to EXT utility to try and make a package out of it, and it half worked, however when in the htc sense people list, scrolling across to the text tab, gives me a black screen.
so then I tried add2config (I thought this would be the best solution, so people could uninstall the cab and use normal htc messaging if they wanted to) however with this, the phone is constantly stuck in the initial customization ( I expect its something to do with the prompts you get when installing the cab)
so finally I tried this, I didnt cook in the htc messaging client at all, and I added this reg tweak in:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\HTCMessaging\Compose]
"ExecPathName"="Tmail.exe"
But this is giving me the same black screen when on the text sub tab of the people tab.

Try disabling these packages: HTCMessage, HTCMessaging_Client, Message_Enhancement, Text_Selection.

i just use these methods it works great i dont have that blackscreen ....maybe your reg entries overwriting !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i think its the reg not being good as i have that problem when i take out the reg settings:-o
you can help it by first going to the messaging tab and open a text message there then youre blackscreen will be gone
but then again i only get this problem when i take out those regsettings so i definetly think its the reg not being proccesed right:-o

Nah I solved it for me I was using an ext pkg, supposedly just for games, and I looked at the reg, and its full of messaging reg entries :O
solved now.

Got it working as well. Thanx guys. Almost forgot to include arcsoft mms otherwise mms wont work
