sorry if this question was asked and perhaps even answered before, but i didn't find anything with the forums search function.
is it possible to change the keyboard driver in an english rom to qwertz keyboard with german letters ä ö ü etc. in other words: is there a german keyboard driver?!

thanks for your reply, but this cab isn exactly what i was looking for. i ment a driver for the integrated hardware keyboard, which enables the german keyboard layout.

I've bought an xperia in Germany and flashed it with the generic uk rom.
How do I change the registry settings to use the qwertz keyboard for this uk version?
I've searched the forum but couldn't find any working solution?
sorry, also looking for the same , but nobody sesm to know anything.
in the previous htc models, there was a possibillity for a reg_key change for the keyboard but they've chnged the number sequence

Hi guys,
just did it. Works perfectly. Have now an UK ROM driven X1 with the german keyboard.
It is the code (hex) 407, that works.
The tool to get into the reg.:
http://www.phm.lu/downloads/download.aspx?{940B734A-C437-41C7-ADED-2A4418802FD3}
to download is : Pocket PC 2002/2003(ARM/PXA).
Just install and go from there. Straight forward.....even for me

Is there any rom avaialable which uses HINDI as a default language. I have gone through many threads. There are lot of upgradations available for chiniese and japanies language. But I dont find anything for hindi language support. Please let me know if there is any way to change my default language as HINDI.

The installation always says cannot install on current platform. I am running WM6.5
Ok guyz, try this keyboard, which lets you type in hindi on pocket pc. I have extracted it from lingvosoft pocket eng-hindi dictionary. Hope this might help others to see a bit of devanagri on our beloved ppc's.

She would like to use google translator to translate words from french to russian and conversely. type text in french, no problem. but how type text in russian ? is it possible to do like on PC and change keyboard for a little moment ?
the Tattoo she has has the official Orange FR ROM.
I have seen in this post an app. can it solve her problem ?

hey! i don't own a HTC Tattoo myself, but are planning to buy
but i can quess that she can translate it from french to russian, and then just copy and paste the russian text ? (NOTE: that's just my quess)
you're right, she can do that, past it in an email or sms
but it's not her need. she uses the promt to translate some words or sentences when she is in the university, because she doesn't want to bring with her a big dictionary all the time. and she needs to translate from french to russian (no problem) and from russian to french (problem, because I haven't found the russian keyboard in the phone).
but of what I have seen, it's a good little phone, with all basic smatphone functionalities you can need and it's not very expensive !

Yes, it is possible. Just install AnySoft Keyboard and read carefully instruction for activation on their homepage (it can be reached when you start AnySoft widget after installation as well).
Works perfectly on my Tattoo.

how is the new keyboard different?
In Market it changing to 3 alphabets in one key kind which i hate
Edit: Oops i was using Japanese keyboard in English changed the input method now it's Ok sorry for creating the thread
