New installation file for Bluesoleil drivers!

Bluesoleil drivers for HTC Magician and "Bluetooth Switch" utility.
You can install BlueSoleil drivers to use PAN-profile, FTP-profile and ActiveSync via bluetooth on you QTEK S100, S110, I-mate JAM and so on...
PAN-profile allows:
1) share folders from WindowsXP PC to PDA, and you can browse them using Resco Explorer.
2) stream audio and video (for example from Webcamera or TV-Tuner) from Windows XP PC to PDA (Using TCPMP on PDA and Windows Media Encoder on Windows XP)
3) use Remote Desktop to see WindowsXP screen on PDA screen and control you PC .
4) play multiplayer games (Snails, for example )
5) skype
6) and more...
See details and installation instructions in readme.txt (from attached zip-archive).
Requirements: HTC Magician with ROM Version 12 or 13.
After Install, use "Bluetooth Switch" utility (Start->Programs->Bluetooth Switch) to switch between Microsoft drivers and Bluesoleil Drivers.
You can install drivers BCHS_FOR_POCKET_PC_OZONE.ARMV4.CAB and switch between these drivers and Bluesoleil Drivers (using "Bluetooth Switch" utility)!
Whats new in release:
1) more simple install/uninstall process.
2) now you can choose installation directory (in main memory)
3) "Bluetooth Switch" utility has improved (in many cases soft reset not required).
4) No evaluation period!
WARNING!
Before install new release, you must uninstall previous release (see my post in this thread, how to do it)
Sorry bat I've no understand if I must install BCHS_FOR_POCKET_PC_OZONE.ARMV4.CAB before install bluesoleil or it's not necessary... In the first option where I can found this file? Thanks in advance..

Yes. When we switch stack to Microsoft, switcher move shortcut from Startup folder to Windows folder and vice versa.
& also bug , when i`ve used pan, then i can`t use gprs, so it needs add registry fixing gprs in this case, i think.

This is Bluesoleil drivers bug and cannot be fixed simply.
I just repack original CAB file and write switch utility.
You can add registry fixing gprs, but in this case you cannot Map Drives from WindowsXP PC using Resco Exolorer.
I have tried it be4 u updated the shortcut... and I had to hard-reset my JAM..
I'll give it another try tomorrow.
any way, my questions is... after the installation.. will I be able to send files from the file explorer.. not from the program it self??
I believe Resco FE is not meant to work with this stack, or Am I wrong?
thanks for your effort
I have read the whole thread about the Bluesoil BT stack. Some say it works, its better and others disagree. So what's really the story about this stack?
What's the difference 'tween the bluesoil schtach and this one?

Bluesoleil drivers support PAN-profile, but not support A2DP profile.
You can use both drivers using Bluetooth Switch utility.

And why you need this. You have internet sharing.
1. program, internet sharing
2. USB, network connection must be your defoult connection
3. connect
Now just plug USB to polaris and PC. PC will install some drivers.
And that is all.

Sorry, my mistake.

Softic Card export is really slow and WM5 storage don't work.

Have you tried using a registry editor and changing the following line?
Navigate to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Cabfile\Shell\Open\command and change the default value to wceload.exe "%1" /nodelete - there is a space after the .exe and before the /nodelete here

First of all, make sure SnapVue is connected to Vista through USBtool and that Windows Mobile Device Center is connected.
On Vista side - download and install CERegEditor. Open it - navigate to the "tools" menu and select "unlock registry". You are now able to edit your WM registry from the Vista side. If you get any warnings on WM side just press "Yes".
Hope this is helpful.
However, if you didn't follow a guide on how to unlock your shift to full WM I would recommend that you read one of the following threads:
Full Instructions for getting WM6, RealVGA, Office and IE
Enabling full WM the REALLY EASY SHIFTpack way

How to "attach" USB Tool and activate "Internet Sharing" automatically at startup ?

How to "attach" USB Tool and activate "Internet Sharing" automatically at startup ?
I "liberated" my XP downgraded HTC Shift and succesfully tested 3G connectivity.
The problem is that every time I restart the device, I have to:
1) enter WM
2) Attach device via USB Tool
3) Enable Internet sharing
As WM is an operating system, I guess how to do this automatically. Can I write a "bat" file to do these steps or do you have any advice to achieve this ?
Any help MUCh appreciated.
Regards.

go to wm -win start menu --settings--connection--ub to pc--enable advance network connectivity.
this should fix the problem, cheers
Unfortunately, it does not solve the problem.
I noticed that the only thing I have to do is to activate Internet Sharing.
How to do this at startup, automatically ? Has WinMo some autoexec file or startup folder ?
Thanks.
Up, please. I'm so near to surf only starting up my shift
Up. Up. Up. Up.
Yes I'm sure you can do all of that with Mort Script,
Good luck!
And don't forget to post your final results so other users would enjoy of that!
unapproachable2kx,
can you support me ?
Maybe you can just drop the shortcut for the application on the startup folder or maybe DotFred's TaskManager can help(http://www.dotfred.net/TaskMgr.htm).

WinMo has a startup folder (\windows\startup\) that you can create a shortcut for "Internet Sharing" inside, the problem is that you need a parameter with the shortcut to run the "Activate" conmmand in "Internet Sharing"; 'cause a normal shortcut will just run the app, then you'll have to press Activate manually (we want to automate that too); same thing for "USBTool". Unfortunaltely, I don't know the set of parameters for the shortcuts.
Or try looking for some advanced shortcut creation tools for WinMo, like in this list

bluetooth not working

my bluetooth wont turn on, says somthing about BTmanager not a valid aplication! any ideas how to rectify this issue?
Bump, this is stressing me out now!?
what rom version are you using? have you altered any reg settings or installed tweaking applications? btmanager not a valid win32 app may be caused by a hardware error as well.
what i'd try first = soft reset + check again > hard reset + check again > remove and add bt devices again + check again.

did you install tom tom?
Hi,
Yes I have installed TomTom and now have this issue.
Do you know a fix?
Of course, I would like to keep TomTom
** P.S ** Appologies for digging up an old thread.
Mike
With the help of Google, I found the fix, please see below:
This Fix also works on the HTC HD2. (HTC Leo)
Although I could not delete \Windows\BtCoreIf.dll
but it did rename and fixed all the issues.
Errors that show up are after installing TOM TOM 7.
On Restart.
BTTrayCE is not a valid Pocket PC application
When trying to open Bluetooth
BTManager is not a valid Pocket PC application
and for info on HTC HD2, GPS PORT is COM 4.
