Is there a way to remap the Send key when I am in text messaging? When I have my keyboard open, I have a bad habit of hitting the key just above the E, which is right now programmed to be Send. How can I change/disable this? I am happy hitting the touch screen to send.
me too, i sometime send people blank messages by accidently pressing the softkey
In the SMS main screen, the left key is delete. I want to know if i can change that key to open a new message.
Thanks in advance.
I agree that this is pretty annoying... bc of lag in the software or whatever, every time you hit the left soft key, you get a "are you sure you want to delete" dialog... but then again, on previous versions the left softkey was "reply" ... so it would always take me into a new text message... so I don't know what's better! haha
Is it possible to change the soft-key assignments based on a specific caller? Currently I'm running a cooked Kaiser ROM, and when I receiver a call the soft-keys display "Silence" and "Send Text". I would like to replace the "Send Text" soft key with "Open", which answers the call and dials 9.
Thanks guys!
im not sure exactly but try mortscript
Any other suggestions? BUMP!?
In one of the bepe's rom (maybe in others too) I found a nice option with the softkeys. On an incoming call they change to answer / silence and if you press silence it gives you an option to respond with predefined message. I want to use it in my current rom but don't know how to set it up or where to find it?
Can somebody help?
I too would like to know how to do this for my herald.
I use Orange and everytime I go to pick up new messages on my answerphone I have to dial '1' from the menu options to hear them. This is a pain on the Blackstone because you have to wake up the screen, pop up the keypad and then press '1'. What I want to know is is there any way of building the '1' into the telephone number so that the tone is automatically sent when I dial the number?
