If you download HHC (HTC Home Customizer) It will install it for you.

It will connect to the internet to download it for you. Make sure you have data connection. Either through VZW EVDO or through Activesync to your computer.

This is the crucial bit, and still seems to be working

It is in French but the gist of it is, when installing DO NOT let your screen turn off!!! and it takes AGES to install, about 20-30 minutes.
Once it is installed, reboot and you have the default HTC black theme, with white fonts. You can then install any theme you want without CFC compression

Not able to find the file i need to down load is it the HTC T5353 or the HTC P3700 rom flash that i need from the chef rom cooker

Scuba, I have had it on my Voda branded phone for 3 weeks or so and it is superb, you cannot tell it apart from a stock phone pal (you still get the red voda startup screen thats all).

Thanks for that new to the HTC phones have been a nokia man, glad i chnaged and seen the light
Have put the touch of blue theme on and its just what i wanted.
Might get into the whole theme building when i understand the phone more

I've tried this and it works great. The only thing you loose is the TF3D 2.1 Facebook integration that was on the Vodafone UK version.
I've installed the black cab and the touch of blue theme, along with the manilla today page, so pretty happy.
Is there a way to bring back the facebook intergration with the contacts on the vodafone TP2, as I quite enjoyed the updates to my contacts pictures.
Over on the topaz section there's a facebook intergration thread with fixes, could this work on ours, I might give it a try and see

I have an HTC vogue, with a blank WM6.5 rom on it. I don't want to use a custom one, or brew my own, I like this ROM.
I do, however want the HTC software that originally came with my device (such as the audio manager, camera application, bluetooth manager, comm manager). I have no idea where to get these things. Can someone point me in the right direction ?

I know that generally speaking that software is usually bundled in with the ROM. very few of the HTC apps are available in .cab format. personally i would suggest checking out the ROM's that NFSFAN has cooked up. LOVED his WM 6.1 and 6.5 ROM's before i headed to the Android side of things. Hope this helps!

Yes, but only if you stand in place with one leg raised higher than the other leg as, you press that big square button.
Just tried my bluetooth and the Comm manager says it cant turn it on.
Even tried it via Settings > Menu > All settings and clicked on the bluetooth icon, but nothing happens.
Any ideas?
Looks like you installed a wrong version of TomTom.
The original version replaces 2 .dll files, which makes the bluetooth of the HD2 unresponding.
Try uninstalling TomTom and search for the altered version for HD2 (or TP2)

Tried that also, after some searching I managed to get the Old .dlls back and with TomTom gone, and having to get windows to allow me to put the dlls in, i got it to work.
thanks for your help =) will have to find an alternate tomtom for now.

Hi,
I have a similar problem. Every time I go to COMM MGR and turn on the bluetooth, it will just hang there and will not turn on. I have to do a SOFT-RESET and it will automatically turn on the bluetooth upon WM start up.
I do not have Tom Tom installed on my WM. Please advise.

I unistalled the cookies home screen on my hd2 and now I tried to reinstall but can t. I couldn't figure out how to change the tabs after I put the tabs where I thought I wanted to but couldn't so I tried to uninstall program and reinstall the program but cant reinstall cookies home screen,can someone please help me with this I'm not very good at this but im trying. everything on this site is sweet. thanks

i did the same thing. i don't know the version though. it had cookie monster in the picture. where can i get the CTEditor
