I bought my HTC 3400i Last month. Yesterday my HP laptop was connected to internet and I connected my forbile for charging. After one hour the screen of my mobile started flickering so I disconnected and reinserted. Then there was a heavy Flicker. I switched it off. Now its not starting. I tried the Hard reset, but the light of my charging and both soft keys are glowing. Then it turns off.

Try a hard reset
1. Remove battery
2. Press & hold power button for few second
3. Insert battery
4. Press POWER button + both soft keys ( key just above green & red keys) together.
if everything is fine there would be a text on screen and will ask you to press send key then press Green key

Hi guys. My qtek 2020 has gone dead. i pressed the reast button and then it suddenly did not start. The screen is completely blank. The problem is that the power on/off button is broken and i cannot Hard Reset the device to try and start it up this way. When i press only the reset button nothing happens. Is there anything else i can do?please help
is it helpful to remove the battery as a "cold reset" ?
which battery. The backup one? because the main battery i have removed and nothing happens
guys i have a similar problem. my power button has broken and i turn on the device with the record button (i have remapped the buttons). Yesterday i turnd it on and the screen freezed on the today screen . I performed a soft reset, the screen went blank and it never turned on. Now the device is dead, soft reset won't work, it doesn't seem to charge (no light when i put it on the cradle) and i cannot perform a hard reset because i do not have a working power on/off button.
Is there anything i can do to turn it on?

Try to remove main battery for a longer time(up to 1 hour or more). The backup battery will discharged what causes hard-reset afterwards.

ok so i have seen reset buttons that stick and will not go
did you try pressing the reset button aggain? do you fell the click he made?

For sum reason my wing just stop working. the other day it just faded to white and never turn back on. once i got it to turn on it only went to the multi colored screen so i connected to my computer and loaded the tmobile RUU it went to 100% rebooted and ever came back on. a blue screen then came on and said press yes to continue, i did n here i am posting my problem because it only goes to that screen. Any input from anyone would be great.
You could try a hard reset. You will loose everything but at least your phone might be working.
1. Hold the two soft keys down (the one that opened contacts and calendar by default)
2. With your stylus push the soft reset (below the volume control) hold for about 5 seconds.
3. Keep holding the soft keys and you should get an message to push the send button.
4. press send.
Your phone should reset (hopefully) at this point.
Turn Off your x1.
Hold the two silver button together and while keep pressing the button...press the power button...it will turn on and then it will ask you to press "R" on keyboard to reset it. Factory settings will be restored.
Ok tkis way is for hard reset,but how long i have wait for keyboard.I wait 5-10 minute and still i keep only white screen with blue text .....R for reset X for cancel.....I try press each button and nothink happen.later i take off battery and back ,turn on ,and everythink return to normal.
when the blue text shows up, RELEASE THE OTHER BUTTONS, slide open the keyboard and press R

How to hard reset I-Mate JAMA? It's stuck on second boot screen.
There are 3 way:
1) Start->Settings->System tab->Master Clerar->1234->ok
2)Press soft-reset for 15sec.
3)Remove the battery, Simultaneously hold volume(-) button and red hangup button, while still holding those keys, insert the battery and wait for the led to go out, release keys and device will hard reset.
I can't not press the power for screen off, or the screen can not off after the time that i set in setup, the screen is always on, until the power is empty.
after hard reset, it still same that
If i charge about 3 second, it is ok, i can off the screen by the power button, but if i make soft reset again, the screen will be back, it will be not off, it is always on
how can i prepare that, please help me
