There has got to be an easier way to do this.. Unfortunatly, VPN is three letters and is too small to search for here

So I'm writing " Virtual Private Networking " here so that maybe someone else will find this.
Anyway to launch a VPN connection I'm going to Start -> Settings -> Connections Tab -> Connections Icon -> Under the VPN Connection hitting "Manage Existing Connections -> VPN Tab -> Selecting the VPN Connection and "right clicking (hold until context menu pops up) and hitting "Connect".
This seems SO inefficent and buried I figure there has to be an easier way, but I can't find it! Anyone have a suggestion! Thanks so much!
Anybody else use VPN? Is this really the only way to launch the connection?

Hopefully someone can help me so I do not have to make a hard reset.
Somehow this task manager is missing. I made this graphic, below my screen, up the normal one... I am missing this certain icon... And I don't have any clue what I did wrong...

Solved - not a software-bug, somehow it got deactivaded:
Disable the HTC Taskmanager
- Go to "Start -> Settings -> System -> Task Manager -> Button"
- Disable "Enable the "X" button to end running programs" by unchecking the box.
- Disable "Enable Quick Menu on Today screen" by unchecking the box.
I threw together a Mortscript to patch the wi-fi problem I was having with Proxycap. I was adding a 1st rule to direct connect, but then it wouldn't default to the next rule.
Here is a quote from Proxycap tech support : "When you want to connect to the Internet without a proxy, you can just disable ProxyCap:
Start/ProxyCap Config/Misc/Disable ProxyCap."
The Wi-Fi mortscript will Enable / Disable Proxycap and turn your wifi off and on. No need to reboot after clicking Yes or No.
Install
Unzip the wifi folder.
Move it to you Program Files folder.
You can create a shortcut on your Today screen or tether the script to a key.
Click Wi-Fi to run. You will be prompted with " Do you want wifi? Yes No
Yes will disable Proxycap and start WiFi.
No will enable Proxycap and stop WiFi.

My Proxycap wifi fix is working great on my HTC Imagio.
Just check my phone's battery, and I found something a little bit weird:
The phone was 1h1m55s on battery

however, wi-fi was on 1h0m5s.

The fact is my wi-fi was off all the time.
Any ideas? thank you.
Settings-> WiFi -> press menu -> advanced -> scanning always available

I have a problem when I try to search network or unselect the automatically search network on a Motorola XT621 ICS, it shows all the time "connection unavailable". And I can't unselect the "Select automatically" option.
The signal is unstable and easy lost connection.
This is the problem.

When I use the movile data, a message appears to log in to the network of my internet provider. And when I enter in the message it redirects me to a website that doesn't work.
And I can't get it to work

Search for APN in settings and type every line with your provider settings, restart phone

Also in the APN you may have a proxy that redirect you this way.
Delete it. no risk!
