I use spb online for what
GSplayer
A free open source app that can almost play anything, I'm using opera to go to classic shoutcast and then tune in, and gsplayer takes care of the rest... I had that on a Diamond , but will get a Xperia next week.
xperia has got streaming program but it wont play what i want it to like www.aboveandbeyond.nu
Online radio
Resco Radio works well and you can input additional urls
Selectradio
Use selectradio, it has XM and Sirius radio capability and even shoutcast too! www.selectradio.com . I use it nicely on my X1i
Has anyone heard of any plans for an app for AOL Radio like the one the iPhone has?
Not AOL Radio in particular, but if you want to listen to streaming internet radio, StreamFurious can play anything on shoutcast.

Imeem Music is another alternative
aol radio
use the skyfire browser. nothing to download like an extra player) and it seems to work great. although I do have internet explorer runing at the same time as I write this, which seems to make the music jump slightly. But I'm happy. I have an HTC touch by the way.
I believe you'd be able to use the AOL radio streams in Kinoma Play as well.

Wrong operating system, folks.
Just curious. We were out and my husband wanted to watch football. I search on my phone and google but could not figure out a way to watch on my phone.
Is there an app out there that will allow you to watch live football?
There is the MobiTV app. I think you can watch Live TV on that. But it isn't free of course.
I think mobi has a monthly fee. I don't mind paying a one time app fee. Is there something else out there?
MobiTV is 9.99 per month...but over WiFi or 3G its actually quite good..and yes, it offers live TV. So while 9.99 a month is kinda alot, its actually a worthwhile service as long as you have a good network connection.
if you have directv and sunday ticket you can watch all of the games live on your mobile device running android.
Buttt...the HD2 is not natively an Android device...so that doesnt really help in the least.
MobiTV does not air live NFL football games.
The best option to watch games you would normally watch at home. Is to get yourself Orb Caster which is free and a compatible TV Tuner card. (Don't get a USB based tuner.) Setup Windows Media Center to work with your TV service and if that works out, then setup Orb and it should work fine.
Any reason you recommend against a usb based tuner?
I all of my music stored in my windows home server NAS. I want to be able to play music stored on it with my xoom over WiFi. What the best way of accomplishing this?
The NAS already has twonky running on it. Is there a player for xoom that works?
I use subsonic, works good
I use Audiogalaxy, love it and it's free in the market.

Is there a local option? Both of these seem to be centered around streaming over the web. I just need access over my local network.

Both share with the outside world. I think Audiogalaxy may be a little more secure since you are just running a client on the system and their website does all the work. (I think). Subsonic is great! I use it on my Android devices and via a web browser at home and work to listen to music. Subsonic also now supports streaming video.
