I am currently working on a script to extract all exe and dll files from firmware images. So far I have tested the script with some htc roms I found on this site, but I would also like to run it against some other windows mobile roms (such as the att blackjack). Does anyone know where I can find these official roms (the ones shipped with the phone)? I've cruised around the att site, but can't seem to find anything

I am trying to get the AT&T WM2003 final rom to work minus the audio clipping, I have got the latest Tmobile rom and compared all the sound related registry settings, and nothing appears to differ. However looking at the audio driver (wavedev.dll) the one from the AT&T rom is larger, which suggests this might be where the changes were made, as the Waveapi.dll is exactly the same size..
But my problem is that I don't run linux (and i'm not that familiar with it) so I can't build the Tmobile wavedev.dll into the AT&T rom.
I have tried editing the registry to point to a copy of the tmo driver (which obviously I had to rename) but it didn't work (I'm guessing becuase everything else is looking for the other file)
Could anyone build the Tmobile dll into the AT&T rom if I sent them the file ??
Cheers
Neil
I have tried having a go at creating a rom myself using a bootable Knoppix cd, but I can't get it to work correctly as all the settings in mkrom are for the special edition rom. And I'm not really sure what I'm doing
Could any of you guys that run the rom kitchens or anything hook me up ??
Cheers
Neil
Hi,
I would like to create a german version of this ROM for the P3600.
Is there any place where one might download an "intact" version which works correctly with bepes tools? I haven't yet found anything publicly accessible which is newer than the asian dopod-Rom from five months ago.
From my personal experience, 18548 seems to be very stable. I have invested a lot of work into the localization of the MUI, but can only dump/recompile it as a quick'n dirty hack, as all the versions which I found had modified DSM-files and did not work with package tools.

Anyone know what the requirements are for this?
There hasn't been a lot of discussion regarding ExtReloc, which I believe is the most recent module relocation tools for Windows Mobile. The author from 4PDA published the source code, but I wasn't able to get it.
Did someone happen to download it and willing to share it here?
I tried using ExtReloc on WM6.1 ROM, but the result was less then desirable. The ROM was still bootable, but buggy (some DLL not loaded, some driver not loaded.) When I switched to WMReloc, everything seemed to work just fine.
Has anyone ever used ExtReloc successfully on WM6.1 ROMs?
Firefox OS for Android One (Sprout) Phones
Anyone built already a flashable .zip file or .img files for Android One (Sprout) smartphones? Anyone can upload the latest version here? I'm not of a techy type of person but it seems like a lot of Android One users are looking for an easy installable ROM for their Android phones. Like this for example: http://forum.xda-developers.com/general/xda-assist/flashable-firefox-os-rom-android-one-t3160682
I found this link: https://github.com/b2g-sprout/ however a lot of them are not technically enough and even I don't even know what to do with these files even though I have already tried using Firefox's instructions and some other articles on the Web about Porting FFOS. Full instructions on how to build Firefox OS from the files on the given link would also be appreciated. And also an example on how to update them for the latest version. Thanks for all willing to help...
