OK, I find a ROM that it let me to connect Internet by Activesync anh it has got the other function that the original firm had.

i'am using udk R5. it is really great and fast. i can make everything i made on the original firmware.

Yes, I think the same but, i've problem with Bepe versión because i can't connect Internet using ActiveSync. What is better? R5 or R6?
i think R6 is better but dont found any bugs or problems in R5 so i dont see the point in upgrading. i will upgrade wenn R7 comes out...

I've tried all, but now returning to use Helmi's ROM as I found it's more stable.
Anyway, thanks Xplode and PDAViet for developing choices for us. I know many people chose yours.

It seems that pdaviets and xplodes are of the same build and is an update to helmis rom. I personally have tried pdaviets and it is faster and a lot more stable than helmi's. Internet browsing is faster, multitasking is faster and a lot more stable. I can't wait for pdaviets final rom to come out.

Ooops, after posting the comment, I found that I haven't tried the new version of PDA Viet's ROM yet. Tried it and found it's great. Yes, it's much better than I expected. I love the welcome screen, the theme and X button functions (much better than the other two).
By the way, the new Xplode's ROM BA_5.2.1933_AKU_0.7_R0-xplode-fixed has quite old version of File Explorer like in WM5. I prefer the one in Helmi's and PDA Viet's ROM.
Sorry PDA Viet, I cannot change my vote to you now. Anyway, I like your ROM a lot.

so i'll go with Helmi's pioneer WM6 ROM for BA.
I prefer Xplode....I always like his work...
I'm using Xplode's because it is much faster than Helmi's, and because I have the same device as Xplode so I know the ROMs will work well.

PV has 2 versions of ROMS... 5.2.1933 and 5.2.2000... Which one are we talking about?
I'm using PV 5.2.1933 now will try 5.2.2000 soon. This rom is fast, is there will be a kitchen for PV Rom???

I just bought the latest HTC Touch Cruise with HTC Branding. It has the ROM-Version 1.25.407.1 GER installed which is in fact GERMAN.
Well I would like to switch to an original HTC English ROM Version. Can you tell me where I can find such a ROM since on HTC´s website I cannot find any.
Also it would be great if you could tell me how to flash my gadget the secure way. It would be best if I could save my German ROM, as I might need it sometime in future for ie warranty issues.

well, I had the same issue with my Polaris. It was in Spanish language. So, basically you can flash your ROM very easy to a WWE ROM (World Wide English). You can find a lot of them in here, some very good ones also.
For ex the one I am using now: udK Diamond R4 - WWE (Build 19960.1.2.2) (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=393429). It was made by udK and it looks great.
!!!One of the most important things that you have to keep in mind before you flash your ROM is to Install Hard SPL (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=351964). Made by Olipro!!

I just got my HTC Touch Cruise back from repair and have the newest Roms installed (not WM6.1 but WM6.0. I can post the RAW files too if someone wants them.
Since the repair my connections and sound are very very much better than before. I have no problems anymore.
I only dumped my Rom and rebuild it. I have not tested it, because my device works great now. Please let me know if it works for you.

It is only the OS. I wasn't able to rebuild .raw files to Radio and Splash rom. Maybe someone can help me with that.

i want to install the udK Syrius R0 - [WWE] but i am afraid to lose my warranty. is it okey to install this ROM for warranty cases? and is this ROM complete or do i have to install the HTC software on my own?

Warranty is most likely to be declined if using a custom rom.
As said before, the dumped rom i tried, it's incomplete. HTC home and some other programs are not installed by default. I suggest to wait a few days till I have some time to make a custom rom from the dump that is complete.
If you have some time, you can make a dump of your rom. (maybe i can try that one also?) So you always have a base to return too.
b.t.w. wait for syrius R1, the r0 has some irritating bugs (or some call the features)

I wanted to downgrade back to udK Diamond_R8_Polaris.
Unfortunately after the downgrade I'm not able to use the phone function, I can make a call and accept a call, but my speaker does not work, so I can’t hear anything and I can’t talk.
If anybody knows the solution, please help. Thanks Lenocs

Hi Lenocs. You need to downgrade your radio version. Try v1.58.21.23

Confirm, I have udk R7 Diamond and Radio 1.58.21.23, and all works very very good
I was a big fan of udk R8 and tried alot of others but always went back to the R8.Then tried M-Amine 2.0 FINAL to be bug free (with the latest radio) big fan of UDK and M-Amine roms and found M-Amine 2.0 Final to be the most reliable and well supported at the mo.. So if you have not tried it then I would suggest giving it ago...

UDK R6 doesn't work for the moment

I doesnt tried R6, but i tried R4, khanx, c_shekbars and much other ROMs... Now i´m using 3LIT3 II and this is the fastest ROM for last year i used...

R6 cannot be flashed at the moment, it freezes during customization;
Comparing UDK R4 and 3LIT3 II i was using both roms are pretty good - 3lit3 was on my polaris slightly faster, UDK solution seemed to me more complex;
Eagerly awaiting working version of R6

For me 3LIT3 II is a winner, seems a lot more bug free than any of the recent Syrius ROMS... Even the RSS Hub doesnt have that weird scrolling bug, nor QuickGPS failing. I couldnt even run realplayer on R5 (I use it for BBC listen again files)
Also seem's faster and smoother as well.
Hopefully I'll try out R6/7 but considering udk doesnt have a polaris to test his roms on anymore, I think I'll go back to 3LIT3 II
Gullum's ROM is better and more stable than others.
But, it has not the new Manilla with Footprints.

U can use Lite version where TomTom is not included.
When something is cooked into rom it cannot be removed.
Well chavonbravo says this about 3LIT3 II sys files 'Well, this sys/xip sucks. So much for trying non-official builds'. I've tried older ones and many issues disappear. Version III being worked on.'
I would suggest that the answer to your question is to wait for 3LIT3 III and a proper udK R6.
Personally, I think the whole footprints thing is a waste of memory, but I'm sure that others will find it useful. For me it's just a gimmick I can do without.
3LIT3 from chavonbravo is the best ROM
3LIT3 II is for me the best rom.....

I totally agree. I tried both and right this second both ROMs have issues and both are sluggish. I personally like udK's work and think that R4 was the best ROM so far. I think both ROMs need to be kept an eye on. Thanks.

Regarding to 3LIT II, the only defect that I find in this ROM is the available memory. I think it has some unneeded services running, in addition to the 16 MB that you mention in the posts above.
