Cruise and my....Citroen C4 bluetooth!

Hi all,
i've a problem and i think that this is the only plase where find one possible solution!!
My Citroen have a bluetooth module that work fine with an HTC Tytn but Cruise.
With my new Cruise, the bluetooth are able to accept fine only the first call: after this, the next will switch off the audio (in fact i need to put my phone on my ear!!)
i've tried to change firmware and some radios without results! Can anyone help me??

I had this problem a few times with my Cruise working with the stock rom (WM6) and my Parrot CK3100, after upgrading to WM6.1 (udK Diamond) i never had the problem again. Im still working with my stock radio rom btw.

Ok...i've installed udK Diamond R4 WWE and i've saw some changes on my car but....voice calls have the same problem!
So, if i've undestood right, the problem is on the s.o. firmware and not on radio firmware??

Wait a little while until WM6.1 official for polaris is available that will hopefully solve all problems with bt...

uh?? WM6.1 will be released?? When??
But do you think that is the version of WM that create my problem? I've tried with a TYTN with WM6.0 and it is working fine!

Where can i find official rom for my italian cruise?? Or i can apply those patches to all firmware?

I suggest first try the fixes with the offical rom....
If it works, try them with the cooked roms...

...it didn't work!! I've installed original rom and after i've applied those two fixes without any result!

I had a almost same issue with original ROM and with SONY MEX-BT2500 autoradio. It works fine with handsfree BT profile but with A2DP (stereo via BT) it worked only on first connect (disconnect after engine stop and start). I found 2 solutions:
1) after "engine restart" press number 6 on radio - it connects again to Cruise
2) flash ROM to Bepe 0.67 - it reconnect automaticaly.
...now I flashed ROM to udK Diamond R4 and I am using 1)

I just got my HTC Touch Cruise back from repair and have the newest Roms installed (not WM6.1 but WM6.0. I can post the RAW files too if someone wants them.
Since the repair my connections and sound are very very much better than before. I have no problems anymore.
I only dumped my Rom and rebuild it. I have not tested it, because my device works great now. Please let me know if it works for you.

It is only the OS. I wasn't able to rebuild .raw files to Radio and Splash rom. Maybe someone can help me with that.

thnx for sharing the rom , i had some troubles with my carkit (parrot ck3100)) so i decided to upgrade but it became worse , i was looking for an original dutch rom to go back to how it was , so i bog thank you....

i want to install the udK Syrius R0 - [WWE] but i am afraid to lose my warranty. is it okey to install this ROM for warranty cases? and is this ROM complete or do i have to install the HTC software on my own?

Warranty is most likely to be declined if using a custom rom.
As said before, the dumped rom i tried, it's incomplete. HTC home and some other programs are not installed by default. I suggest to wait a few days till I have some time to make a custom rom from the dump that is complete.
If you have some time, you can make a dump of your rom. (maybe i can try that one also?) So you always have a base to return too.
b.t.w. wait for syrius R1, the r0 has some irritating bugs (or some call the features)

This radio is the best till now. Better than Murata.

I have tested this version again. But the camera still doesn't work. It's a pitty. Maybe it is because I have WM 6.0?

camera not working due to new driver
With this radio camera does not work with old firmware, if you use new firmware with new driver camera's working mutch better than older version, much faster and lower cpu consumattion
I use PhamQuang ROM 3.13.207.31 CHO POLARIS with this radio and my PDA is very very fast.
i think that PhanQuand is the better rom for POLARIS!

Because it works at your device, my problems must persists because of WM6.0. I hope the Dutch rom will come out soon.

Many users report similar problems. As far as I understand this radio works only with newest WM6.1 ROMs: latest official ROM from HTC (O2), Syrius ROM by udK and last ROMs by PhamQuang

Flash this Radio only if you use ROM like my Syrius or others based on latest (wm6.1) official ROM.

But in the meantime, people like me who are using your ROM 8 have also installed this radio. BEWARE, this radio is no good at all with your ROM8. It gives backsounds and makes all earphones stop working well.
I have therefore unsinstalled it and went back to Murata Radio, which in my opinion is very good indeed.

I suggest you put down your signature/profile.

What is your ROM?

It possible if the camera screen turns black the camera is broke.
To test it: flash stock rom/radio and switch to front camera.
If you get an image with the front camera, and not with the rear camera. I think your camera has a defect, then it's a nice warranty issue.
I experience same issue's so i have to get my hands on stock rom first to return the device.

This ROM breaks my phone
Hi all i don't know what the siruation is but when i put this radion rom on my phone a loose most of my signal when at home i get no 3g at all and only 1 br at best of standard signal outdoors i get 2-3 bars at most but usall drops out a lot.
so i used the Murata Radio ROM and it's perfect i get 3-4 bars pf 3G signal in doors now and full outdoors can some one explain to me why the Murata Rom works so much better thanks

the WWE (=WorldWideEnglish) Rom is nothing special. Its 3.13.405.0 so I think the difference to the german Rom is not that big.

I didn't fully try it but it definitely doesn't need HardSPL!
No bugs for me so far:
all hardware buttons working
sliding in camera album working
FM radio not as loud as 6.0 (good for me because it was too loud with lowest OS settings and 10% radio sound )
contacts, calendar, opera, .netcf 3.5, advanced config and wifi working
not really faster than 6.0 (original)

is this also working on german orbit2(Polaris) and whats the difference to their new o2 wm6.1 ROM (browser etc.) ?

HARD spl ...
I had my TOuch cruise (german) reflashed with RUssian official ROM ... I am having some problems with hardware and planning to get it to Official Repair Center in London... If i flash it with this ROM do i need it to do anything with SPL not to lose warranty or i shoild flash it with initial original ROM (which i dont know where to find) ... Please help

been on this site a while now and with 02 stopping the download of there official 6.1 release it has forced me to look elsewhere,
I have looked online here and decided i would like this one,

I knwo i will need to install hard spl first, the main quetsion was that this says that no radio come with it,

From my minimal experience, I think that the ROM will use your existing radio. At least this is what happend to me when flashing ROMs without radio. As a suggestion for radio I say the 1.59.42.23 version. I see better signal.

If you don't flash a new radio it will use the existing one.
Normaly cookers say what radio they recomend, i'm using myself 1.59.42.23 with good results.

Now im looking at upgrading my radio to Polaris Radio 1.64.08.21,
Ive donwloaded the file and and now just pondering how to run it?
Do i just run ROMupdateUtility.exe ?
that would the file i would run but wanted to check first!
Also this wont affect the syrus rom will it?

Hi,
Radio 1.64.08.21 is not compatible with latest WM 6.1 ROMs, if you flash it you will not have Camera and phone working correctly.

What would you reccomend to be the best verison for it?

1.59.42.15 or 1.59.42.23

The best and most compatible radio for cooked Wm6.1 is in my opionion 1.59.42.23!
1.64.08.21 is NOT the newest one - don't wonder about the higher version number - it was portetd from another device!

I have now downlaoded 1.59.42.23 radio,
if it doesnt work can i always revert to an older radio rom?

also does anyone know what radio the official 02 xda 6.1 relase has since i think i have them at the momnet,
