hi guys, this is my first post, i am italian so i speak english not very well..
i have bought this pda about 7 days ago...today when i unlock the pda the display has many problem with the touch...now it work, now not, work, not... i do an hard reset to try to solve the problem but nothing....
what can i do? now i have WM5....

I really need a original o2 rom (german). Since yesterday my touchscreen doesn't work anymore...nothing helps either soft or hardreset :/
I flashed my xda mini with a german t-mobile rom...works for a week, but after a hardreset yesterday the screen doesn't response on any touch.
An o2 Staff-Member in our local Shop told me (quietly) that I won't have any chance to get a new one, if it's so obvious that i flashed the device(No matter that I didn't make a mistake!) And I think it's very obvious if an xda boots with a t-mobile-logo^^ But a software-reason for the defective Touchscreen isn't probable, isnt it?
So i have to flash the xda mini with the original rom before i send it to O2 , by the way the only thing that i can do now with this device, cause I'm not able to finish the Touchscreen-Setup(hardreset) ...
I found the demand for the german o2-rom very oftenin this Forum, but mostly the answer is 'don't let the branding(t-mobile) get installed' etc. This doesn't help me, sorry! I didn't want the t-mobile-rom, i just did not think about the possibility that the shipped roms on the ftp are not from O2(could a admin rename this files, this happens to many pepole). It's was very angry to install the o2software 'by foot', but not the end of life^^
Now I really need this original rom! Couldn't anybode with a german xda mini take the time and make me and all the others happy with this rom?
I searched this rom the hole day, here and with google and didn't found it!

I'am a student and my Magician is the only way to reach me wirthout internet! I can't belief that here isn't somebody who has the rom, is able to make/get it or know where I can found it, even i searched a lot now.

What's about uploading it to the ftp for al the others?
I would do this, no prob!

Perhaps this would save many beginners from doing the same stupid mistake, I must confess that a well-meaned advice to make a backup often is ignored to fast,I learned my leasson!

Hi all,
i have big problem with my PDA - Fujitsu Siemens N520. After the install of a new software my PDA wanted restart and after that it freezed just before WM logo I tried hard reset but it doesn't work. This forum is my last hope because nobody knows nothing for my problem ... only one man told me that there was a program (or something like that) called bootloader wich can load some kinf of safe mod to my PDA that i can connect it using Active Sync and flash the firmware ... pls help and sorry for my english ...
Really sorry for you, but it's not even an HTC model is it? This site is purely for HTC rebranded models.

Sounds to me like you need to enter the bootloader via the special key combinations (i don't know it sorry) and reflash a ROM (also dont know how to get)

About one day ago, my friend tried to upgrade his wizard to wm6.
After flashing the device wont turo on! When he tried to power the wizard on, nothing hapens (NO LIGHT, NO SOUND, NOTHING.........)!
Please if someone know a way HOW to fix it, please HELP and HELP!!!

If that doesn't work, you probably have a new paperweight.

sorry for my bad english i am german living in ibiza-spain.i have the problem that my universal had a problem when i uploaded wm 6.1. i never had any problems doing that but this time it is blockt absolutly dead.by doing hard reset it shows 0 reboot x exit but nothig works out screen is black not even charing possible.it would be great if somebody could help me.thanks a lot and bye bye from sunny ibiza.
p.s.it is urgent i have no other phone or modem.

thanks for reading this. I have a problem with my MDA Compact from germany. After few months, I wanna used it now again, but If I start, there is a error with "Serial".. If I put it a USB-Cable, there is "USB". The Hard and Soft-Reset don´t work. And If I try to use one of your tutorials, I don´t find the files in /windows/Temp/...
Anybody can help me? I read more than 5 hours, but I can´t repair my cell-phone ):

sorry but i don't know what the different is on 1.00 i think there you have to ask other guys who knows more than me. i just had problems flashing with vista and thought this would help you, too
