Buying a broken motherboard - Problem in SMD component - 8525, TyTN, MDA Vario II, JasJam General

Hey everybody... What up.
I had a alignment problem, and tryed to fix by myself. Its a long story, but, the fact is I broke my hermes.
My technical guys are saying that the problem is in a kind of component called SMD component. On the component, is just possible to read AK.
I don't know if some of you have a idea of how can I buy this component, or, in the worst case, if somebody have a motherboard to sell me.
Tks,

Looking to buy Wizard Mainboard

I have a wizard with a burned mainboard due to a faulty charger-cradle (be carefull with those)
I need to find someone with a faulty wizard that wants to sell it as parts.
The only thing that I need is the mainboard so if someone has a wizard with a cracked screen or with a faulty keyboard or any other problem except mainboard please email me.

broken charging connector... need a new/used mainboard.

My 2i's charging connector broke. Sent it back to O2's repair centre and they specifically said that the mainboard has to be changed. Anybody here know of any thrifty way to get hold of a mainboard or a something similar? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Vincent
fixed same problem my self
Hi ,
I received a similar device from a collegue.
His charging connector was completely severed from his mainbord.
I opened the device and solderd it back on my self. Device is working again.
If you have te same problem maybe it's cheaper to find someone who can do this for you then looking for a replacement mailboard.
I have to say I had to try it 2 time because the connections where really tiny.

exactly...tiny...
You're right, it's very small, plus I have fat fingers. Well, maybe I should get someone to do it for me. I was hoping for a short cut solution and not too expensive one as well. I might try that after the holidays..

Display broken?

Hey Volks,
Today i realized strange display issues with my HTC Touch HD. The ROM on it was original by the Provider (Telekom Germany) so i doubt it is a Flashing issue. I attached a screenshot for reference. Now my question: Seems this to be a hardware or software issue? Is flashing something that could solve this issue? If it is a hardware issue, would it be a good idea to repair it by myself? (i'm not complete stupid ) - What needs to be replaced? It seems that the touchscreen himself is working (pixels changing when pressing on the display).

Matthias
hi dude,
this seems to look like a hardware issue.
but..
i would flash a new rom or hard reset to check if it is software issue.
if the problem still exists after a reflash or hard reset, i would open your device and have a look for the problem yourself (its not rocket science )
you want to check the ribbons that connect the LCD to the motherboard.
(ribbons are clamped to motherboard so make sue you unclip the clamps that hold the ribbon in place, now check them for damage, dust or dirt)
be carefull though because the ribbons can break easily, trust me
after cleaning the ribbons, checking for damage etc, if device is still displaying like pic, i would buy a new LCD.
(ebay is the best place to go for a new LCD, it is best to buy an original LCD btw)

[Q] Electrolytic Capacitors Ripped Out / Spare Parts Needed

Hello fellow Xiaomians,
I have a big problem and I need your help to solve it. I wanted to replace a broken display and while opening the phone case I accidentally ripped out some of the small parts of the phone's motherboard. (I marked the 4 parts in question in the attachment) The good news is I have a friend who is adept in SMD/BGA reballing and he could fix this, but I need the part no. of these spare parts.
Thanks in advance!

Motherboard capacitor broke off.

When taking it apart capacitor in picture broke off, is there way to fix it or i need new motherboard?
I think you can fix it with some very precise welding (which I know little about). I would recommend going to a GSM repair shop and asking them to do it. If they tell you you need a new motherboard, insist on the weld.
