Touch Cube Configuration Question - Touch CDMA General

Hey Everyone,
I am using the touch cube configurator, and I was curious, how do i configure the 3 app side. What is the link to go into the photos/videos/music? I try to link them to the app, and it doesn't work...

You need the shortcuts to the apps, or to the mini player?

both if you dont mind!

Which apps, usually it's:
Images: \Windows\pimg.exe
Photos/Music: \Windows\wmplayer.exe
The player, which just runs in the background: \Windows\mediahubmini.exe

what about for the videos
would it be \windows\pimg.exe
parameters -video

Not sure about the default Pictures & Videos app, I don't like it. I use the HTC Camera Album, the param for videos is "-mode(colon)picture -type:video"
Sorry, had to use "(colon)", it ended up creating this

ok, for the photo's and videos I did:
Photos:
Shortcut Path: Camera Album
Videos:
Shortcut Path: Camera Album
Parameters:
-mode(colon)picture -type:video
but whenever I click on either of them, an error message pops up that says:
The file 'Camera Album' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring this file.

Which version of the Camera Album are you using?

I'm not sure, I just updated my phone with the official rom update

Easiest thing to do would have been to check and see where the original shortcuts were going to before changing the icons and pathways around....I'm sure you know that though... If you havn't changed them yet though just go look and see where they go.

well...i dont have the setting

Camera problem

A strange problem has suddenly appeared.
When I start the camera, after a while performing the loading icon, the cycle in the center of the screen showing that the device is working, the following error appears :
Unable to start preview mode. Internal error 36001:101:1
Has anyone got any clue?
I use the camera rarely, and since the last time I used it, I have installed and uninstalled various applications.
Sound really strange to me, so any clues will be appreciated !
The problem may come from some pisture viewer software such as Resco or spb imageer.
That program is set to use as default viewer for picture image.
The resolution for this problem that i can think is install CAMERA again by extract file from Ext ROM and install again in your device.
or You may try hard reset first. If problem still occur .you may need to flash ROM again.
It may also be caused by a movie player or something that uses the ATI hardware chip. Does the error only occur after you have played a movie or something? Try closing all running applications prior to starting the camera and see if that helps (if you have a movie player running, close it using its own exit option so that it 'tidies up').
Failing that, does the camera start OK after a soft reset?

I have none of the applications you mention installed on my device.
I even deselected all applications from my today screen, soft reseted the device and still have the same problem.
Thanks a lot for your suggestions.
Certainly sounds strange :? What version of ROM have you got installed?
Perhaps re-installing the Camera app will fix it. This is in the Extended ROM.
I have 1.72 installed.
I agree with you.
I think I will have to reinstall the camera application

PHM crashes Album!?

Ok, interesting problem.
i have pocket hack master installed, every single thing runs fine.
It runs with scaling on, and 4 levels ranging from 390mhz [156:39:78:T] to 624mhz [208:52:104:T]
it works perfectly for everything, EXCEPT when i load up the HTC album software. it locks up.
if i exit PHM (no matter what speed) and then try to run album, its fine.
it seems completely independant of the clockspeed, just the fact that PHM is running.
i have tried setting a profile for Application speeds that will change it to default for the album.exe, but it makes no difference! still crashes.
i have done this correctly, and the overclock profile to 624 for my emulators works perfectly.
has anyone else experienced this problem!? its so annoying to have to close PHM to open up the album.
any suggestions?
i am running:
latest PHM,
Small Menu,
Xbar3
*edit*
just tried opening album first, then opening PHM. album works!!
if i now close album and re-open it, album seems to be working fine!
if i re-set the device (and PHM auto loads), album crashes the device again.
i have 24mb of program memory allocated.

Indeed. It seems you have tried anything that would get into my mind, and to me it looks like some kind of bug in either Album or PHM which you cannot overcome by some clever configuration or workaround. The only thing I would try is hard reset (backup beforehand) and then only install PHM and nothing else. See if the problem persists. If it does there is nothing more I can suggest. I would try to contact the PHM author and report the bug as closely as possible (does PHM have the ability to record crash logs? include one if it does). Maybe he can figure out what the bug is and fix it. If the bug is in Album there might be a way for him to workaround.

If there is no support on PHM you might be able to workout some clever autostart sequencing / macro that automatically loads and minimizes/closes album on system startup and then loads PHM "by hand" afterwards. Not a beauty solution, but if you really need Album and cannot replace it with some other media player/viewer the only solution. MortScript might come in handy when setting up this autostart sequence (including delays etc.)
My guess is the problem is with album. There are other bugs with it, eg it reads the height value of bitmaps as an unsigned value when in reality it should be signed(with nasty side effects). I have also noticed that album will not work properly sometimes when it is launched from a thread that is supposed to process window messages. It must send something to all windows and wait for a response. If the launching thread is waiting for album to do something then it may deadlock. In my apps when I launch album i do it from a new thread, perhaps the author of the phm software did not do this and used the ui thread instead.

Camera Gallery - Exclude folders/albums?

Hi, I've noticed that the Gallery app is slightly different from my S6 in that it includes all pictures on my phone when i click on the Gallery button in Camera app.
Is there anyway to exclude all pictures except for the ones that the camera takes, like in my S6?
It a bit annoying that there is always a meme (from whatsapp group chats) in the bottom corner of the Camera
Same concern here, did you find any solution?
This has been an issue since Note 7 and I have not found any solution yet, except going directly to gallery/albums/camera instead.
You can find your solution right here: http://www.dnaindia.com/scitech/rep...hide-whatsapp-photos-from-the-gallery-2147794

I have used "no media" on my N7 to stop advertising pics showing up in gallery back when I had it (yep, advertising pics were showing up in gallery too), but that's really not a solution, since in my case I have tons of media files on my phone and I want them to show as media files, just not inside gallery open from camera. I have not seen advertising pics showing up in S8 gallery, but pictures that I downloaded from internet do show up.
I have the same issue! But with camera app.
I have the same problem on my S8. I don't want them to hide from gallery but at the same time they shouldn't be included in the camera.
I have the same problem, and I haven't found the fix yet. The .nomedia fixes the problem, but it isn't good as a permanent solution.
*Necromancer ⚠*
My Solution is to use Quick Pic! Been using it for years! (even b4 CM purchase. No they didn't molest it) It allows Hiding with or without password.
I give up on Gallery!
Obviously, .nomedia is not a real solution, to this day from Note4 to Note8. It would be nice, if like Open Camera allow an app to be used when clicking "Gallery" icon. I still use OC frequently, but some features are not exposed to 3rd party apps!
I can say it's embarrassing to show pictures &andaccidently swipe. Showing some of my Tumblr saves..
Use ES File Explorer to find the Cache holders and set them to hidden.
.nomedia only works until you clear the app cache and then it's deleted along with it.
If the gallery can't see the folder, it can't display it's contents.
Where are these cache holders?

[Guide] Galaxy S7 4k60 Video Recording (Exynos)

So, you've probably seen that the S8/N8 can do 4k60 by now. But did you know, that the S7 (Exynos only) can do this too, just using a different app?
Special thanks to the people in "Note8 Exynos 4K 60FPS no root" on Telegram for helping me with this (feel free to join and ask for help there [click])
The Easy Way
Download Snap Camera HDR from the Play Store (the trial works too)
Snap Camera HDR download ($2)
Snap Camera HDR Trial (free)
Download my snap_camera.zip file from the attachments and extract it in /sdcard (Internal Storage root) [I had to do it like this because xda won't accept .bin files]
Open the app, go to the menu -> other and press "Load settings"
Start recording and enjoy
The "Harder" Way (ROOT)
Download Snap Camera HDR from the Play Store (the trial works too, just replace "snap" with "snaptrial" in the directory later)
Open the app, go to settings, enable "4K Video Support", change the video size and preview framerate to anything non-default to let it generate the settings
Use your favorite root explorer to get to /data/data/com.marginz.snap/shared_prefs
Edit the file corresponding to the profile you want to edit (P1 is com.marginz.snap_preferences_0.xml, P2 is com.marginz.snap_preferences_100.xml and so on)
Change "pref_video_preview_framerate_key" to "60000,60000" (without quotes)
Change "pref_camera_video_size_key" to a resolution higher than 3840x2160 (like 4032x2268) [if you set it to 3840x2160, you will only get 45 FPS, my theory is that it doesn't completely disable HDR if you set it to 3840x2160]
Save the file and repeat for all camera modes you want to edit
Enjoy

Thank you
Thanks, working, used the first method.
Thanks! Works for me to
It actually works. Now i'm wondering if it is possible to record 1080p at 240fps?
Does it require root or somthing like that?
Or should i ask if it would work on the galaxy Note FE on pie?

Best camere app for OP7T Pro ME?

Hi guys, i just realized that the camera app of this phone is really poor and lacks even basic options like selecting video/photo resolution/megapixels. Is there any modified version of the app that adds these options? If not what's the most recommended app to get the most out of this beasts camera?

Google camera can be a pretty good option, I also use filmic pro if you want to get full control of your camera.

I wanna say the the Google camera supports all three with a custom xml file. It can be found on xda under GCam.. I can't find it right now for whatever reason, but a quick Google search will get you there
How I just installed GCam

So here's how I just installed it on my 7tProMc5G.
First with Telegram installed, look for "GCam Finder [BOT]"
This is a menu driven space, at the bottom click "GCam Download", new buttons appear, select phone manufacturer (OnePlus) and phone (OnePlus 7/T/Pro)
Then you'll see instructions and buttons to download APK and XML. Download both. (You're now done with Telegram, but there is some good info in the FAQ.)
Once you've done that I went to the notification of the download and installed the apk from there, you might be able to install from File Manager.
Once that's done the apk is installed, but you want to add the xml. This will go into a specific folder, which can vary, so do the below to make it easier.
Open Gcam. It's just called Camera, but has a different icon from the OnePlus. (It recognized the three cameras, and seemed to work ok, but just in case I decided to install the downloaded xml.)
From the top of the viewfinder, swipe down to open the options (flash, hdr, etc.)
Click the little settings icon at the bottom of the options window.
Scroll to the bottom of the Settings and select Configs.
Click on Save and enter a save name, anything will work, you're just making a config so that GCam makes all the folders you need.
Now back out of the app and go to file manager.
Go to Download and find the .xml file, copy it to the clipboard.
Go up to Internal Storage and find the newly created GCam folder, and the Configs folder inside it (mine was called Configs7)
Put the downloaded .xml file in there, you should also see the one you just created.
Now go back to GCam and in the bottom area where the three buttons are, double-tap to the right of the "last picture" button. You should get a dialogue allowing you to load a config, choose the downloaded .xml.
When I did that the three "zoom" options changed, this will be based on which xml you download.
I checked and NightSight seemed to work, also while in NightSight scroll down from the top and Astrophotography gets turned on.
Kinda neat. I'm digging this phone, it's wicked fast. I bought it for the 12G RAM, I didn't even think 5G would work, seems to though.
I simply installed urynx05's lastest 2.3 Gcam on my unrooted 7t Pro Mclaren (I'm waiting for my unlock.bin) and all the cameras work without any issues. No need to use any xml's to get everything working, just enable the aux cams in settings. Just Google gcam urynx05 and the you'll find it.
