PCWorld tomtom GPS receiver with bluetooth £50 ... I think

Hi all,
I've seen this item at PCWorld but I can't work out if it's a GPS receiver or just a dashboard mounting kit!
http://www.pcworld.co.uk:80/martprd/product/TOMTOM/GENERIC+IPAQ+CARKIT/024526
The picture is of a Garmin device that does look like a GPS receiver so I'm very confused. If it is just a dashboard mounting kit then why does it say that it's "bluetooth enabled"?
Has anyone got one of these or even seen one? If so, is it a bargain tomtom gps receiver or a badly described, overpriced lump of plastic?
Cheers!
Gadget
Whatever it is, it's not what's in the picture!
That's a wrist-mounted GPS for running/hiking.
See the heartrate monitor strap in the background!

bought my bluetooth gps from www.mobilefun.co.uk for £40. works a treat, five sat fixes even in car glove box
Thanks chaps, I guess if something seems too good to be true then it usually is! I'm going to plump for one of those bargain ones from mobilefun.com after all.
I'll get a dashboard mouting kit too - do you find it better to have your wizard in portrait or landscape with tomtom?
Cheers!
Gadget.
Cheapo GPS mount
I have an ultra cheap vent pount for a phone (about £2 from Tesco). My TT bluetooth GPS fits snugly into that.

Another couple of bonuses with this receiver are that it uses a mini USB socket to charge and comes with an in-car charger so this doubles as a free in car charger for the mini S!, also uses the same batttery as many current Nokia mobile phones (BL-5C) which means spare batteries are easy to get hold of.
Wow, £40 isn't bad is it?
I paid £35 for a wired one for my Palm!!
Shame it says 7-14 day delivery.

Mine was delivered in 18 hours!!! ordered at 15:00 in the afternoon, arrived in the post at 9am the next morning. guess they had stock at the time though
I ordered mine from mobilefun on monday morning this week along with some other stuff, by monday evening I had a SMS saying they'd part shipped the order, minus the receiver  Oh well.
The receiver does still have a 7-14 day estimated shipping time - I just hope they can still get it! I'll let you know when/if it arrives.....

2.5mm stereo adapter

can anyone suggest where i can get this adapter in the US? i searched on ebay and all the ones are from another country.
I picked one up at Fry's Electronics for $2.99
Cingular stores also sell them
Some RadioShack stores also have them. Just make sure you really get the "Stereo" one

click on the "Available at most stores, find it near you" link on that page to see which store near you have it.
I got mine from the TreoCentral store.
I bought like 3 different ones untill I got the one from Brando and i have got to say it is by FAR the best ... Hama kept loosing contact so my phone would go to speaker mode after some time which was very annoying since people look funny when it starts playing.. but basically my suggestion is : get brando and nothing else .. same with display protectors, Brando wins in my opinion.

And if you have time to search for a store in your area, Jabra has a bluetooth headset, that you can talk, and listen to music on, its pretty cool looking too.
heres a link for you to see and read on it. If you have a Fry's in your area they sale it for sure.

How come i didnt get bluetooth headset?

everyones talking about the bluetooth headset MW600 they got with the phone.
but all i got were those old school earphones (not even in-ear canalphones).
bought it in singapore.. X10i
don't know about Singapore, but that's all you get in the UK too... But then in the UK I'm getting the handset for free on a £35 a month contract...
In sweden it depends on what dealer you buy it from, and the box including mw600 is ofc a bit more expensive then a box without. I bought my phone (mw600 included) for ~570€, and the cheapest box i've seen (mw600 excluded) is around ~520-530€. So you still dont get it for free.
edit. Other stuff included in my box is as i allready said mw600, one set of normal headphones with some "x-bass feature" (still not so good), one set of in-ear headphones with alot better bass but very short cord(meant to be used with the mw600), one extra screen protector, one battery, and a cord extention 3.5mm(so you can use the in-ear phones without mw600)
It would have been nice with a pouch but i guess you cant get everything.. still a bit wierd though that the included content differs so much depending on dealer/country/branding.. (my phone is black unbranded X10i)

got mine yesterday on the box Bluetooth headset, 3.5mn jack headset, black leather pouch, screen protector, extra battery hehehehe.....
x10i from AXIOM mobile electronics..
Here in the Netherlands you also don't get the MW600.
There are to types of x10 available, one is KPN simlocked, the other is simlockfree.
The packages both contains the normal headset.
It's a shame that they don't threat all customers equally and give them all MW600's, like them a lot.
it is market variant. Some x10 comes with the MW600, and some even comes with the 16GB microSD and MW600. Mine is just the phone with those accessories.... No MW600
man i also got my x10 in SG
bedok wahaha
Got mine from Rogers and it came with a 16gb card and a mail in coupon for a free mw600. No screen protector or case though.
it already came with a screen protector
