Is there anyway to show the MMS Account in the messaging list? I have tried to create a shortcut to directly compose a MMS message using the .lnk that i found in another thread
MMS
20#"\Windows\tmail.exe"-service "MMS"
but this just takes me to the Messaging account list with Text/Multimedia and E-mail Sample.
Does anyone know a working solution that will allow me to directly compoes a MMS message??

Hi!
When I compose a new MMS and start typing in the "To:" field, I only get word suggestions, not contacts, as I get when I compose a new SMS.
Do you have the same problem? Is there a solution?
I usually go into my contacts list first and decide there who to send MMS to..
Is there anyway to have this open up the Outlook Mail Inbox instead of the MMS Inbox ?
It's showing the correct number of new mails (I think it's just accumulative of the SMS / MMS and EMAIL numbers) however 99.9% of my messages are via email and it would be nice to have this open them up.
Many thanks
Tony
for the moment, it seems that these values are hard coded into the dll. if you really want this, try out rltoday
the phone only says that it has text messages and outlook email but when i click on a contact to send a mms nothing happens is there any way i can fix this
Check all your MMS settings. Are they configured correctly?

also

When you open the "Messaging.lnk" in the programs menu it asks you if you want to open sms / mms or email.
i would like to know how to create a shortcut directly to mms / sms, like
when you open the sms tab on the manila and hit "All Messages" it opens the sms / mms window directly.
thanks
there's an option within the messaging application's preferences that allows you to not have to pick sms vs email everytime you open it, that should solve it
I'm wondering, is there a way to manually edit the SMS server? I know you can edit the MMS, but I'm wondering if the SMS can be edited manually as well. Or somehow edit just the HTC Messaging app to pull messages from an internet server instead of OTA? I'm trying to configure google voice sms to go directly into my SMS inbox and be replyable from there as well as long as I have internet access.
Phone / Menu / Options / Voice Mail and Text Messages.
Cheers
LB
yeah, that's still OTA, it uses the SMSC to send/receive text messages, I'm talking about actually editing the HTC Messaging registry to use an internet protocol, not a phone number
