After weeks of trying to figure this out here are the correct settings!!
1 Under My Work Network, select (Add a new modem connection)
2 Enter a name for your connection; I used (MMS)
3 From the Select a modem drop down choose Cellular Line (GPRS)
4 Tap Next
5 In the text box labeled (Access point name) type in wap.voicestream.com
6 Tap Next
7 Leave the User name, Password, and Domain fields blank
8 Tap Finish
9 Tap the Proxy Settings tab
10 Place a check in both boxes
11 Leave (Proxy server) blank
12 Tap Advanced
13 Leave HTTP and Socks Server fields blank.
14 Enter 216.155.165.050 for your WAP server. Port # is 9201
15 Enter 216.155.165.050 for your Secure WAP server. Port # is 9201
16 Tap OK twice
Now go to your MMS program and set it up, create a new server and I called mine T-Zones. Here are those settings.
Server Name: T-Zones
Gateway: 216.155.165.050
Server Address: http://216.155.174.84/servlets/mms
Tap ok
Now go to preferences and enter these settings,
Connect Via: My Work Network
Connect to Server: T-Zones
(check the box to retrieve messages immediately)
And it should work.
Enjoy!
Nice job, can you send?
I'll also give this settings a try under ezWAP 2.5 and see if they work with
it.

Also is there an option/setting for
"Sender address type:" in this program?
If so what do you have it set to?
Also is there a setting for the "Sender address"?

Yes what device and MMS program are you guys using? I am using I-mate on T-Mobile USA. Also please remember in order for you to get this to work u have to have the feature enabled on your accounts. The program I am using is Arcsofts MMS program which comes instaled on the device.

I'm using the i-mate on t-mobile with the default program built in as well.
I don't see "Sender address type:" or "Sender address".. where is this and what should it be set to?

Sender address should be set to Phone Number and Sender address should be your 10 digit mobile number. So check these settings where ever they maybe.

I have an MDA that will not send picture messages. Text messages work fine, but I've tried all the ways to send picture messages and I can't get picture messages to work!
Specs: T-Mobile MDA. I did the soft-reset trick to keep the customizations from loading. I then ran the cab file I found here to restore the MMS settings.
Server Name:T-Mobile MMSC
Gateway: 216.155.165.50
Port: 9201
Server: http://216.155.174.84/servlets/mms
Connect Via: My Work Network <---- I don't have a data plan, but I do have a text messaging package from Tmo that apparently includes picture messaging. Is this my issue??
Sending Size Limitation: 100k
WAP Version: 1.2

I have the K-Jam with a Tmo plan and I have wondered about the same thing.
You can only send MMS messages through the wap APN. Thus, you must create a dialing connection to wap.voicestream.com and then specify the MMS connection to connect via that APN.

Go to Settings, Connections tab.
Select Connections
Under 'My ISP' select 'Add new connection'
For name, select T-Mobile WAP
For modem, select Cellular Line (GPRS)
Click Next
For Access point name, enter 'wap.voicestream.com'
Click next
Leave all fields (user name, etc) blank
Click Finish
Go to Messaging applet
Click MMS Configuration on Menu
Select Servers tab
If you have not already entered the T-Mobile server, do it now. (covered in other thread)
Under Connect via: drop down, select 'My ISP'
Click OK
Send an MMS message.
Also, if you have a T-Mobile family plan as I do, right now you can get unlimited messaging (text messaging, mms, etc) for 9.99/month. Our family shares a plan with 4 phones (two teenage daughters). That comes to 2.50 per phone for unlimited messaging. The best deal I know right now!
JonnoB,
Thanks for the help. Unfortunately, picture messaging still doesn't work. Since MMS requires transmittal over a GPRS connection, wouldn't that imply that you must have a data plan to use it?
I did exactly as outlined in your post and my phone even says "T-Mobile WAP (GPRS) Connected". However, I have no IE or picture messaging functionality. Thanks again for your input.

Yes, I think it does require some sort of plan. At least T-Zones because while the message is received via SMS, the rest of the data is downloaded from the WAP server afterward. If MMS is important to you, you should consider the $20 unlimited plan for data... or if you find yourself in hot spots, the $30 plan which includes unlimited wifi as well.
Oddly enough, T-Mobile customer care claims that a data plan is not required for MMS. Their solution was to hard reset the device. I'm not sure I want to hard reset with all the T-Mobile bloatware.
I have problem configuring MMS manually
with old 1.08 ROM, I could add MMS service manually
but now with 2.26, new servers and set as default are greyed out
how can I enable them?

I have the same problem here. I was trying to workaround problem by manually editing settings in registry, but it did not work for me.
You can try to edit settings to match your network, by going to key:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Arcsoft\ArcSoft MMS UA\Config\mm1\test
I modified to match my provider but still no luck. Phone did connect to via GPRS but it doesn't send any MMS.
Has anybody found a way to configure MMS?
Could somebody try to reverse engineer registry settings for MMS and show us how to configure it?
Check that HKLM\SOFTWARE\Arcsoft\ArcSoft MMS UA\Config\mm1\test\ConnectionVia value matches HKLM\Comm\ConnMgr\Destinations\YOURE_ACCAOUNT_NAME\DestId?
i tried both and no result

I checked it and everything is OK, however I still cannot send MMS.
According to my provider I should set WAP Version to 1.2,
Do you know what is appropriate value of HKLM\SOFTWARE\Arcsoft\ArcSoft MMS UA\Config\mm1\test\WAPType for 1.2 wap version ( I assume that this is appropriate key for WAP Version)?
Here are current settings I have for my provider (HR VIP):
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Arcsoft\ArcSoft MMS UA\Config\mm1\test]
"ConnectionVia"="{B0FC015F-F12A-0D4D-9A42-B0D03CE50FB8}"

Setting WAPType to dword:0 solved my problem... I am able to send and receive MMS-es. I also think that max sizes of messages is too high, but I did not test it. I think it should be OK unless you try to send messages bigger than your network allows.

Did anyone ever find the way to make these options available?
In your registry goto:
HKLM/SOFTWARE/Arcsoft/ArcSoft MMS AU/Config/UI
There you will find a key called "EnableServerEdit" set it to 1 and you will be able to edit the server settings.
When I try to send MMS, it shows that it goes either to 99 or 100% but then stays in the outbox with the clock next to it...
And I also realized that I can receive, but not send... anyone know why?
Using Faria 3.3 ROM, ArcSoft 3.5, everything is configured right according to T-Mobile. I'm about to start ripping my nails out! It seems that some others had the same issue but no solution. Ugh...

Fix...
Try this ninja magic...
In the messaging app, select :
Menus / Tools / Options
Select MMS
Select the "Servers" tab
Finally set T-Mobile as Default
We'll have try some more ninja magic if you don't have a T-Mobile Option.
Settings are exactly off the T-Mo configurator, except for the 0...
One thing... I'm not using the proxy, could this be the issue?
[edit] Doesn't work even with a proxy.
herzzreh I Had The Same Problem I Had To Create A New MMS Configuration And Put The Following:
Server Name: PictureMessaging
Gateway:216.155.165.50
Port Number: 8080
Server Address: http://216.155.174.84/servlets/mms
Connect Via: The Internet
Sending Size Limiation: 300k
WAP Version: WAP 2.0
Then Make That New File You Created As Your Default.
And Also Make Sure Your Connection Is T-Mobile GPRS (wap.voicestream.com)
Hope That Could Help
Do we need to run the connectionsetup.xap to configure the MMS settings? I entered the APN settings but I can't send pictures text.
What is your APN?
I used epc.t-mobile.com
user: blank pw: blank
I can send/receive MMS and texts
