It seems to me whenever I do the hack to get TomTom running with my bluetooth sattelite reciever I seem to loose my xda's ability to connect to Activesync. Anyone else have this problem? Any solutions?

I have the widcomm Bluetooth stack installed and i am very happy with it, i am able to network with my pc and to the internet and everything even use activesunc over BT LAN, but what i couldn't do so far is to get active sync working over the Widcomm Active Sync profile, i don't really need it but it is just that i was able to get it working on MS BT stack, anyone had more luck than me on that one?
P.S. Active Sync starts connecting then pops up an error that the device is not recognized or not a pocket pc or smart phone.

I have the same problem, activesync doesn't work anymore after install widcomm bt stack even if i disable it and run ms bluetooth stack. I suppose that there is problem in registry for activesync, it propably call post which is not exists because widcomm stack replaced it. I think that solution could be to extract registry from ipag and compare it for activesync keys.

Anyone managed to ActiveSync via the Widcomm stack???
It does not work for me either
I have tried to install widcomm in the Qtek2020 but always it says "error" to me. What version of widcomm you have? Where I can find it? Thanks.
I have recently installed TomTom 5 on my XDA Mini S with no real problems.
I purchased a generic BT GPS Receiver which works OK, but every few minutes I lose the BT connection. I can not pin-point why or when the connection is lost. Not sure if this is an issue with the receiver or if there are some settings which may be tweaked.
Anybody else had similar problems?
Thanks
Problem Solved
This issue has now been resolved - there was a fault with the BT GPS receiver. Now working perfectly
my S100 has problem to use bluetooth...
sometimes when I need to activate it it doesn't work, and a popup tell me that there's no bluetooth hardware.
I have to softreset to use it.
anyone can help me?
I just discovered tomtom traffic on my tomtom5 software. I tried registering my account, but realized that tomtom traffic requires a internet connection and at the same time my gps receiver uses bluetooth.
Has anyone tried this or found a workaround for this?
Also anyone know of a miniusb to miniusb cable?
This might be my only alternative
Just use your phone's GPRS/EDGE connection. That's what TomTom Traffic was designed to use. Bluetooth and GPRS can be used at the same time.
Hi all,
Is there a way to force the 8525 to disconnect from one BT handfree device and connect to another?
Problem is my handsfree link in my Acura ALWAYS grabs the bluetooth connection on my 8525. Sometimes i want to have it connect to my jawbone headset- but there is no way to turn off bluetooth in the acura without getting a nagging message every 30 seconds that it thinks the 8525 is trying to pair with it.
I just want a way to tell the 8525 to break its connection to the acura system, and connect to my jawbone.
Any idea?
Thanks in advance!
