Hi,
today I tried to make a screenshot of a program window. But I noticed, that there is no print key on the Shift.
Do you know any alternate way to create screenshots into the clipboard?
Hello.
Try "on screen keyboard" from the accessories->Ease of access menu.
I haven't tried it myself but it should work.
I have decided to find out how to set a Windows-F keyboard shortcut to simulate F11, for full screen toggling in Internet Explorer.
3rd time the same question is asked:
1) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=385360

Please search before posting. Closing thread.

Is there a tweak or program that will turn the four-way navigation button into a mouse, which lets you move the cursor anywhere on the screen? Such a registry tweak or program would let you position the cursor over any dialog box or link and then press the center button or enter to enable that program or link.
There is a program for the Treo 650 that does just this, EzRocker, and I was wondering if it's also possible on the HTC Wizard.
I found a registry tweak (below) that enables this for Internet Explorer, but I would like to be able to do it with all programs.
Enable the 4 way navigation button to allow scrolling in IE instead of having to drag the scrollbar with the stylus with a simple regedit.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Navigation\4-Way Nav
Change Value from 1 to 0.
Tulsa,
Welcome to the forum
Have a read of this:

There were recently 2 posts regarding a mouse emulator. I've posted in at least one of them. Please post back if you have success or failure in finding them...

Found a program that does just that: http://www.bobsoft.com/sphelper/
I've only been able to play around with SPhelper for a few minutes, but it seems to work fine on a Cingular 8125. When SPhelper is running, Smartskey is temporarily disabled (if you are using Smartskey), but that's okay.
Finding SPhelper, a virtual mouse, was a matter of searching with the right keywords. I'd been using "mouse emulator", "mouse input", "mouse control" and "navigation pad mouse" but what did the trick is "virtual mouse." I'm including all these words in my reply in case anyone else searches for this kind of program and uses the same search terms as I did.
I have searched on these topics and havent found anything definitive:
1. Is there a way to add some icons to the lower part of the today screen? (near the pocket msn app icons on the today screen). Other than installing Claunch and recreating the whole Today screen.
2. Making the 'ok' button easier to use with your hands...any way?
3. How do I remove icons from the Programs section? (all the pre installed crap)
Try searching there are previous posts on these things. Don't forget advanced search options.

Like I said, I did search (i wasnt lying in my first post):
1. search results are about completely re doing the Today screen, ie: cLaunch as I mentioned.
2. Ok button solution is not something you can easily search for an answer on without some outside advice.
3. Again another vague search that reports tons of results and nothing specific to what I am asking about....
So I ask again, does anyone have any insight to these topics?
I do appreciate what you say, it can be difficult to pin a search down. If I get chance I try to look around later if someone has not answered first!
Mike
I use SBSH iLauncher to add shortcuts to the tray at the bottom of the today screen. I use AE Button Plus to make the OK buttons actually close apps, as well as to make buttons multifunctional ie I have the left soft key set to launch the taskmanager for iLauncher upon double clicking in addition to its native function. I don't know if this is what you are looking for but thought it might help. Removing icons from the program section has to be done through the registry. If you are referring to removing icons from the default start menu that can be done with the menu option in settings.
Thanks guys...which reg keys house the program listing in the Programs folder? Thanks for the help Mike, I searched a ton...so many vague results on the topics as broad as these...
Thanks again...
Removing programs from start menu/programs is a bit easier than reghacks if I understand you correctly. With file Manager, go to windows/start menu/programs. This folder contains a list of shortcuts that corresponds to what you see when you choose programs from the start menu. Now just delete the shortcuts you don't want.
Hello everyone, I am trying to create a link on my today screen to the screen alignment program. But I was wondering what the name of the program is called. Was looking through /windows and cannot find it.
I know it's not exactly what you are looking for, but when I had this problem, I would use the button shortcut, which is to press D pad and messages button simultaneously, and that brings you straight to the screen alignment function and then goes back to where you were.
I don't think you make a shortcut to it, it's an API call. If you're desperate for an app I could probably write one to launch it for you.
V
I am not that desperate for an app. I just wanted something similar to what is present in Ilauncher. But removed Ilauncher because my today screen is way too cluttered. Nevermind, I will find something else. Thanks anyway.
FYI I wrote VJCalibrula to disable the hardware key shortcut to the calibration app. You probably don't need a dedicated shortcut when we've already got a dedicated hardware shortcut.

Hey All:
I'd like to create a shortcut to the Screen Rotate function for when I want to use my GPS software in Landscape mode.
You know - something shorter than doing a START > SETTINGS > SYSTEM > SCREEN.
Thoughts? Can't seem to find what controls it.
I know there is a rotation shortcut in the HTC Homeplug today screen addin - but I don't want to use that otherwise and just want to pop a shortcut into iLauncher.
You can go to button settings and assign a hard button to the rotate screen function.
Of course this assumes you are willing to give up a hard button... not sure if you are from reading your post.
Have you looked at Resco Explorer? I know Resco Explorer allows you to create start menu shortcuts. Maybe you can just create a shortcut of the Rotate screen exe.
You can try AE Button Plus. It allows you to map virtually any program or function to a hard button. And you can map several things to one button because you can map to single, double, triple, and long press. I have it set to double pressing the left soft key will switch to landscape mode.
Any chance anyone knows the file for rotating the screen? Funny enough it's not named rotatescreen.exe.
For now, I used iLauncher which has a rotate screen function and assigned it to an icon on my desktop.... but it seems crazy to me no one knows where to find the file or command that does this
Ok, I'll have to give iLauncher a look. It's funny because there is a screen rotate function in the HTC Home plugin I'm using, but it rotates the screen the opposite direction that I want on my Mogul. I'll have to keep looking.
Registry Change
I have been looking to do the same thing for some time now. i found that it's a registry value so my thinking is that it must be possible to create a script or app that can change this value but i have yet to find one.
the reg key and values are:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\GDI\ROTATION]
Change the Value of "Angle" to the
dword:00000000 or dword:00000360 -> Portrait Mode
dword:00000090 -> Landscape(Right-Handed)
dword:00000180 -> Portrait Up-side Down
dword:00000270 -> Landscape (Left-Handed)
hopefully someone can come up with something from this. I'm using a touch btw but i think the reg values should be universal.
ok i found an app that will do it!!! see here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=230981
it works great on my touch with WM6
for anyone interested i have since made a mortscript that will switch to and fro a little faster than rotateSE if someone wants it i can post it here.
This would be a good place for that, post away!

for anyone who was looking for my screenrotate mortscript sorry for the delay in posting it. it will be posted tonight. i have been very busy/tired of late but tonight is the night. anyone who does not have mortscript can get it here MortScript
here it is. i assumed that mortscript would be installed in \program files
place the script file anywhere on your device. See Previous post for link to get mortscript.
Try this small program, just execute in device then it will rotate. no installation required.

Thanks man, works 100% nice with my HTC P3600 with WM6.1
I've done a pretty thorough search on here and have not found this info yet:
1. I need to find a way to call up the Pocket Office menu (the one with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint shortcuts) from the touch Cube. I tried using the officered.dll but can't work it out. Any Ideas?
2. I would like to toggle wifi on/off from the touch Cube as well. Any ideas to that shortcut?
Thanks
1) Search for touch settings app. This should let you change shortcuts on cube faces. Be weary, if you start to play around with it's other options, i changed the animations of the cube via this app and could not get them to change back.
or
search around the key registry for the cube app side settings and to it manualy yourself.
2) Search for just that, either google or xda, wifitoggle or something. There is a small app that has a shortcut to it too that you can use.
TouchSettings application killed the animation of the Touch Cruise Cube. I'd recommend to generally stay away from it. There's a real thing there about the biotouch version etc...
I found that you just have to link to fexplorer.exe with the path to the folder you want to open in the parameters. This way you can link the touch cube to any folder.
Still looking to toggle wifi...

That's exactly what I'd like to do but not sure what to enter in path/parameters/whatever. How do I make the tweaks?
Thanks.
Never mind - I figured it out myself somehow (Even a blind squirrel finds the occasional acorn).
