Hi,
I have look for a solution through the forum but no one has succeed so I ask for a little help with my ring tone.
Here is the situation:
I have first increased the sound for mp3 player.
Then I installed WOW SRS.
Now I find it hard hearing my ring tone...
Here is what I've tried:
I have tried to change HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Control Panel/Sound Catagories/Ring, initvol from 3 (I have 3 initially programed) to 7, but it doesn't work... It comes back to 3 every time I launch SRS WOW.
I have tried to disable WOW SRS and then it works, but then I no longer have a good sound with the mp3 player...
Do you have any idea ?
you know how to patch the registry, to enable SRS WOW on blue tooth device? you can edit the registry to dont use SRS WOW on build in speaker!!! its very simulare to enable over blue tooth!
I tested srs wow worse then htc audio booster for headphones belive me !!!!!!!!!

Thanks NetrunnerAT,
Actually I want to keep SRS WOW activated on headphones and on build in speaker. So I would be able to keep on listening to music with SRS WOW effects and quality.
In the same time I want the sound of my ring louder. But it seems that SRS decrease the volume of the ring of incoming calls.
JAYmasta, I think that SRS WOW boosts the sound of mp3, and it turns to be very nice. Audio booster is good too but doesn't boosts the sound that well.
Thank you

This only depends on the settings you are using.

Is there any way to improve the sound on the loudspeaker of the device??
I used to have a Blueangel before and I used to have a program that could adjust the bass and treble of the speaker.
Its just that music sounds aweful through the speaker, its so 'tinny' hardly any bass and the speaker ressonates like **** on loudest because there is so much treble.
Perhaps someone knows of some registry settings I could play with??
Maybe i'm being fussy as I used to have an A1000 also (vibe sync is goooood!!)
Cheers
S.K.
I have noticed that if you have the speaker up loud it makes the sound go weird. A fix would be great.
I am having a problem with my atom's life speakerphones,
when I play a ringtone through phone application (Setting->Personal->Phone)
it's really loud (EQ on and SRS WOW HD on).
But, when phone rings, ringtone sounds a lot quiter and I don't know why...
Does anyone know, or has a solution to my problem?
Thanks a lot,
Manos
Any answers?
maybe you have set increasing ringtone volume in phone settings...

Nope, my settings for ringtone is ''ring and vibrate''.
Thanks anyway
I have the same problem as well, hence I guess it is standard volume for incoming ringtone, I am playing mp3 file, how about you?
Try to quiet her amd she screams
One more funny thing about ATOM EXEC LIFE speakers
While EQ on and SRS WOW HD on you will hear somewhat loud (not really) volume, but try to block any one speaker (left or right) and see how she starts screaming (very loud volume)
Isnt this a funny thing?

What do you want to improve? With my Shure earbuds it blast everything out of my head. (System-) Volume has to be set to minimum for me!!!
it seems like some roms have had the audio levels curtailed, with the correct tweaks you can got very loud volume.

I agree, I had an audio technik active noise canceling earbud phone, it's so loud & clear that I only need to set the media player volume at 20%!

Where I can download tweaks to try it?
Does anyone have a working audiobooster for the xperia? I tried searching on the forums, and found one but people said it makes the font really small probably due to the resolution. I searched every single thread and couldn't find one that attached a good working version for the xperia..
If anyone can supply this, that would be great. Thanks
audio booster? to make the sound louder?
It's an app that makes music sound better. Not quite sure if the HTC Audiomanager is the same as what people call audiobooster?
Audiomanager and Audiobooster are not the same thing.
Audiobooster is an equalizer, more or less. Audiomanager is a player.
I can put you a cab together, but I'm not certain what the package depends on, so there's a good chance it won't work.
cab inside zip attached
if the speaker is bad....digital boosting will only cause clipping and distortion.
i think we should send feedback to sony to improve the speaker.
the loudspeaker is so bad ..it shud be called 'softspeaker'
Blackberry bold has such an awesome 2 way speakers...

Audiobooster only works on headphones.
Hi XDA, whenever I play music in Zune or last.fm through my headphones I notice a loud hiss that I have never noticed before. Is this a problem with the ROM?
Also, has anyone else had luck getting the HTC Sound Enhancer app to work? It installs just fine, but when I select another audio setting (like dolby or SRS) I don't hear a difference. )
Thanks!

I'm having exactly the same problem. I can only hear the benefits of the Sound Enhancer when I unplug the earphones during playback and then plug them back and then I only hear the effects for 1 track then it reverts to default sound!
I remember exactly the same problem with Audio Booster on WM6.5 when it would only work for 1 song and there was a reg edit to fix it. Is there anything similar on WP7?
Thanks in advance

Hi, I think that even unpluging headphones and pluging it back isn't solving the problem. I've made some test and it seems that this trick is only changing audio volume to higher, because when I've tried few diffrent EQ stettings like Rock, Pop, Classic or Dolby mode music sound always the same. I've looked a bit in registry and found a key called DSPMODE but since I'm not a dev I have no clue what to do with it values Maybe someone with bigger knowlage could do something whit it.
