could you please tell me what the settings you used to set up gprs and gsm, as you are getting as far as the password screen. that's more than any of us looking for o2 uk settings.

I have O2 payg sim card in my xda, I have managed to connect to internet using gsm on +4477129227927 I have used O2 wap as user name and password as password, often it connects but then it refuses, I have also used payandgo as user name and password as password which also sometimes works, however today it keeps saying wrong user name/password, does anybodt else have this problem. What is the correct setting?
Sirs, I just bought an MDA VARIO at Netherlands and unblock it to use when I get back to Brazil. At the hotel I'm using a KPN Hot-spot to surf on the net but I couldn't make my "smart phone" work with KPN.
I turned the WLAN on, VARIO found the hot-spot and connected but I can't surf, msn or download e-mails. I think that I'm supposed to fill username, password and server name on "enroll tab" and them "retrieve certificate". Am I right?
Username and password was filled but no idea about the server name to finally able the net to open. Can someone help me !!!!!???
Hi all,
Does anyone know how to connect the O2 XDA IIi (Alpine) into secure Wireless Network in University ?
because it needs to connect through:
non-broadcast SSID, WPA-PSK2 Site as well as the Thawte Server CA Certificate and logging on using the Username & password
(http://www.uow.edu.au/its/wireless/guides/XPSP2userguide.pdf)
do I need a special software or update the firm ware ?
please help me as socketcom.com Pocket wifi is not compatible with O2 XDA IIi (Alpine).
Thanks
