This combination works perfect.
However... is it normal that the TomTom instuctions come throughout the Qtek speaker and that when you receive a phone call, the HBH-35 is activated ?
Isn't it possible to hear Tomtom as well throug out the headset ???
Maybe a stupid question ????

Your system is working correctly. The bluetooth activates the headset when a call is received or made, the voice prompts or mp3 or other audio cannot be routed through the headset at this time. Hopefully this will be addressed either with a new rom release or by the brilliant Towa the author of Bluetooth tools.
Thanks !
And do I have to activate in a certain order ?
For example:
1 . BT mode on Qtek: " ON "
2. Enable BT headset on Qtek
3. Switch on my HBH-35 headset ?
Is this correct so, or can I do better ?
( plz excuse me for my affull English... )
I use my MDA Vario in connection with a Siemens HKW-600 Bluetooth Carkit w/ display.
Everything just works fine, audio is of good quality except for network provider and battery status not being displayed in the carkit's display.
With my previous phone (SE T-630) and my wife's Motorola V3 this does work (displaying T-Mobile and correct battery status) so the problem must be within the MDA Vario.
Trying to solve this I installed JETware software (as recommended elsewhere on this forum). Network provider and battery status were displayed but some settings (such as "use phone ring tones") just can not be disabled. This is very annoying as this caused limitation / cancellation of functionality I do have without this JETware.
Now, as everything else works fine, I only need a solution which enables that network operator and battery status are displayed in my Siemens HKW-600 carkit.
Are there any registry tweaks, utilities or other ways (other than JETWare) to manage this?
Me too!
I have the same problem (T-Mobil MDA III + Siemens HKW-600 Bluetooth Carkit w/ display) and I share your pain! My wife's Moto V360 displays perfectly. In addition, I find that an incoming call causes the Siemens ringer to ring at max volume sometimes so I'm terrified that a call might come in
Actually, I was just about to write my question when I found yours.
I experienced same with loud ring tones. But a solution is not that hard:
The volume of an incoming call could be lowered by decreasing the volume of the carkit: use the button on the right side of the display.
To compensate for volume while calling: raise the volume on the phone itself.
Hope this is of help for you.
I solved this issue by installing this: http://www.jetwaremobile.com/index.htm. My Qtek now displays the provider, signal strength and is using my ring tone - all that was missing first when paired with my Audi OEM handsfree.

As you might have read, I have installed Jetware and experienced some problems with this, especially the use of the phone ring tone which can not be turned off. I appreciate your reply, but you just recommend what I want to avoid
Hi all,
I have a problem regarding the choice of the device when dialing numbers.
I mean, when I dial a number and have my BT headset enabled, my PDA automatically directs the sound into the headset. :?
Is there any way to make the PDA direct the sound into the PDA speaker? Is there any option to provide me with a choice which device I want to use :?:
When I answer a call - it's simple: I just push the buton on the device I want to talk through. 8)
I dream of the option provided by Sony Ericsson phones - when you dial a number, the device asks you whether you want to talk throung the headset or the phone itself...
I tried to search through the forum, but no results show in (wrong keywords?).
Thanks in advance :!:
than whats the point of the headset. Just click the right soft key, and click something about turning off the headset

You mean what point? That the headset is the one & only "right" device to use when you turn it on?
It's pointless to have the headset put on your ear all the time - especially when you want to make just a short call. It's much more convenient to redirect the call to the PDA without turning off the BT. 8)
Thanks anyway, still looking for ideas...
Nobody knows?
I just put it up once again to make it visible...
hello,
i sucsessfully installed voip on my orbit 2. works well exept caller can be heard over external speaker resulting an annoying echo for the caller.
is there a hack to switch it to internal speaker (earphone speaker)? like a normal call...?
thanks
I have the same problem!
a solution would be great!
but form what I read all the different models have the same problem...
Which VOIP Software did you install?
the one included in Windows:

I just try skype and there is an option and a test to remove the echo. It works great.

wow..someone with the know how should b able to get the integrated windows mobile one working off the files packed in this cab file. if only...
first voip i've used that utilized the internal speaker rather then the external one.
wow! revolitionary!!! works!
Tried it,and it really works on my trinity!! Many thanks!! Works on both wifi and data connectivity. And YES the sound come from the front earpiece not the back speaker!!
PortSip works also with internal headphone: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=508715 I works with any SIP operator (VoipBuster,...) and online PBX (Liberailvoip, PBXES,...).
Hi all
does anyone know if there is a app that while in bluetooth sync mode with a bluetooth handsfree device could launch a switch when a incomming call comes in to give the option to select the call by bluetooth or phone or phones speakerphone? i saw this option on a iphone. if this app is not available could some maybe create one? this would be a great function for windows mobile device. i do know that there is a option after you answer the call to turn off the bluetooth but its in the menu option and not as accessable...
thanks for you help..
J
It should work simply like this on WM phones (at least on all the WM phones I have). When a call comes in:
1. If you press talk button on your Bluetooth handsfree, the call should get picked up through the handsfree.
2. If you answer the call on the phone by pressing either software or hardware button, the call is picked up on the phone.
Thank you for your reply i just have another question
will that be the same for if the phone was synced to a car bluetooth kit as well? i just want to know if so as maybe the rom i have has problems doing this...
I tried to do what is posted and it did not work for the car i answered from the hardware keys as well as the software keys and still picked up in the car. i jave to click menu then turn off hands free. is there some other option i need to select in some settings to change the way the hands free works? I will try with a blue tooth ear piece to see if there is a difference..
In looking more into this there are 2 profiles 1 is headset and the other is handsfree i believe ear pieces use the headset profile and car kits use handsfree profile i did check the earpiece and it worked as described above does anyone know how to change the handset profile? is this a reg setting or can someone tell me how these profiles are stored in winmo 6.5?
