Hi Everybody,
i am having a problem in my O2 atom exec after upgrading wm6.1 (green kitcen) ROM. Problem is this that whenever i restart my PPC service doesn't start, i can send & receive SMS but unable to receive and send any Phone call. when i press "Phone" soft button or press "Send" green hard key. nothing happends. i also tried different ROMs including Official wm5 but problem still exist.
Please can anyone help me with issue.

Hi,
Every now and then when I try to send an SMS from my XDA2 I press the send button in the top left corner and all that happens is that the cursor jumps to the end of the "to" field. Nothing else?
In order to be able to send an SMS once in this stat I have to turn off and turn back on the phone part and then everything works fine. It's only infrequently but when it happens it's quite annying.
This is my second XDA2 and both were running the 1.60.00WWE Rom with 1.10.00 Radio and both suffered from the problem.
Has anybody got any ideas?

SMS problem
I can confirm the same problem you have but I noticed the following:
When I turn on the phone from a soft reset and after entering the
PIN for the telco network, the "G" icon (GPRS) briefly pops up
and beep sound is heard. This is normal
Occasionally this "G" icon comes up again and beep is heard for no reason.
When this happen, then I cannot send SMS like you mentioned.
Receiving SMS is OK. Making and receiving calls is OK also.
Also at this time
START--->SETTINGS---->PHONE cannot be accessed.
Nothing happens when clicked.
The only way to get out is to SOFT RESET.
However one time I tried to investigate further and check the processes
and applications, open/closing other software, etc. the system
went into a HARD REST automatically.
I suspect the problem is due to the phone settings software part.
It could also be a SIM card problem or a loose contact with SIM card.
I also have the same ROM.
Anyone has any ideas?
I have the exact same problem recently and that 'G' icon keeps appearing, i find that if i turn my phone onto Flight mode then back to normal, it resolves this for a while but doesnt stop it happening!

i've got a HTC Magician, branded as as O2 XDA Mini and put on it the latest ROM, I got here.
Now I have the problem, that after every incoming call, I receive, the buttons do not work any more. I still can use the touch screen, but all keys are dead until a soft reset.
Has any one an idea of getting rid of the problem?

Are you saying that if I rename my device, to what (??) it could disappear??
i just put on the latest TNT wm6 rom on my 8125 and i am not able to send message, it sayings phone is not ready wait 15 seconds. Also i don't get calls, and i know this because people of told me they called me but i never got the calls. Also when i call some one with my phone and i want to hang up it wont let me the end button dose not end the call or nor dose the end button on the screen. and also the hold button dose not work. I have also tryed many other wm6 roms but i get the same problem. And my phone is a G3 with radio 2.17 or some thing, i also applied the fix for my carrier (AT&T).

My D-pad wont work after I charge my Dopod.
I've try to push and press the navi button many times. It works, but it goes crazy as I'm scrolling a list quickly (it wont stop going up the list if I press Up button on the D-pad)

This is not a common problem I see recurring so I suggest you are having a hardware problem which means that you probably have to send it for repair. You could try flashing a new ROM to see if the problems improve.
yes, my 612 is encountering this problem. it keep soft reset itself after the party i am calling rejected my call. the screen just shows a black screen, with the green light blinking at the top of the phone. den shortly i am shown the HP blue screen......any1 encountering this problem?
another problem is, after about an hour of phone call, after hanging up, the phone will also soft reset itself....
I faced the same problem recently too when I refreshed my 612c back to the original ROM. Appreciate any help.
